My personal choice: LP12, Keel, Ekos SE, Akiva and a Radikal through a Naim Superline, Naim NAC 552, 2 X Naim Nap 500 into a pair of B&W 802ds... Now that does it for me...
I like the Pink it is more accurate than the Linn especially in the lower end. However if you want to listen to music and enjoy it for hour after hour and not worry about accuracy then the Linn is your man. It is more musical, it plays tunes and is involving to listen to. If you want accuracy then get a very expensive CD player. If you want to enjoy music get a second hand Linn.
did you manage to one up? i have a mint condition sondek LP12 a long with perpetual technologies p-1a with p-3a correction engine & converter. if you did get one, where did you get it etc? thanks for any help or advice you can offer. i'm trying to value the equipment etc
my son saved for ages when he first started work at 16 to buy an lp12. it was his pride and joy.untill his 3year old brother pulled the tone arm off...we still laugh about it now 20 years later

Linns are for people who cant hear. Get a pink and wake up to what music should sound like.

Try the linn with the pink linnk, it blows anything away.

I got one from the 70s with a prop to hold the lid up, instead of a spring.
