William, I'm so glad you put this up and passed it along. You did a beautiful rendition, as usual. I love the uptempo of bluegrass gospel, but you can't beat songs like this one & others such as How Great Thou Art, Just a Closer Walk With Thee. I grew up singing all these old beautiful songs and they stay in your heart forever and you keep coming back to them. Thanks, my friend.
Thank you Ginger, I learned this one when I was a little kid back in the Assembly of God Church, it's always been a favorite! Hope all is well with you- William
I appreciate it Marty. June Carter did this song on the Louisiana Hayride back in the early 60's, before she started touring full time with the Cash show. Take Care- William
William, thank YOU so very much for sending this to me. It means the world to me to have a friend like YOU. When it comes straight from the heart, it doesn't get any better than that. I give YOU 5 *****. I COUNT it a honor to be called your FRIEND and that is straight from my heart. A job well done as always. Keep up the good work and May God Always Bless and Keep YOU as my prayers. Thanks again for this beautiful song and yes, What would we do without FRIENDS?
It is rare to find a common element that can bind people together. Music is surely one of those elements! Even if a person can't carry a tune in a bucket- if you sing it from the heart, you'll be alright! Take Care- William
William, You have selected one of my all-time favorite gospel songs. Like you, I like the uptempo songs too, but this is the type song that truly speaks to the heart and soul. Thanks for a very moving rendition. My only regret is that I could not be there to back you up on the old 88. Truly, when God takes our hand, we are NEVER alone, no matter what the situation! Great job buddy and thanks-a-million! Mike
You are absolutely right on Mike! I think maybe everyone has felt alone at some point in life, but there is always that reassuring hand to take when life gets cold. Thanks Man- William
