  • Hi Congratulations from Portugal , great video

  • ....went to the pub!

  • what did you do when you felt lonely?

  • You must of done a lot of extra miles having to keep doubling back to get your camera.

Thouroughly enjoyed the vid well done. come up and join us again sometime.

  • great expression at 1;00 lol,,, wat was wrong dude?

  • Great vid. I'm planning on doing something similar very soon - can I ask where are the places you camped overnight? Did you plan your camping locations in advance? Thanks!

  • @ChickenRiceMushrooms

    Thanks for the comment...

No I did'nt book any of the sites in advance, the first sight was near Selby in Yorkshire [Hagg Frm, nr Thorpe Wiloughby}, had the place to myself, and 3 hours from London up the A1, second site is 'Comrie' on the A85 going west from 'Crief', I just followed camping signs from whatever road I was on at the time I felt like stopping.

It's a great trip to do as long as it don't rain [lucky I had none]. Have fun.

  • DUDE, you keep driving on the wrong side of the road ;) lol, looks like a great trip

  • great trip bet you loved it :), im hoping to do a bit of touring this year, maybe short two, three day ones to start, then who knows, anyone from telford area, that fancies comin along drop me a message, or anyone wanna meet up somewhere, maybe wales, north south, wherever, ,,,,,,:)

  • Hi

Good short documented trip. Funny at the end !

I did the same trip in 2009. Was so lucky with the weather. Fantastic roads and scenary. Ive never toured alone. Its something i must do.

    Thanks again.

    Nige

PS I always carry every charging lead for all my gadgets. Plug straight into the bike !

    BMW R1150GS.

  • @onahi2002

Yes mate, I've fitted a 12v charger socket to the bike since this trip, the only thing is the camera is old and only has a 3 pin 240v plug to charge up battery, so it's either time to get a new camera or fit a big long extention lead on the bike trailing all the way back to me house, dunno whats best?

    Thanks for the comment.

  • I thoroughly enjoyed that, nicest bit of alternative TV I've seen in a long while, well done mate :)Nice music choices too. I am looking to do that journey nxt summer all the best Nick Parker (got a few Q's for you if you got the time?, add me "Nick Parker" Facebook) I'm not a stalker lol

  • I did that type of camping this past summer with a friend of mine. We both had trailers on our bikes so it was easier for us to load our gear with out having to worry about having our gear out of balanced and not having to worry about flipping our bikes on curves.

  • NIice trip

  • Rock and Roll biker-boy, looked like great fun [even if you are driving a bloody suzuki].

    signed a Guzzi lover :0).

    Daniel

  • @bartonlane
