@whosdaman149 I used a boss ME-70 through a crate head with a marshall cab. The amp settings are all flat at 5. As for the pedal I honestly kinda forgot.. this was a long time ago and I sometimes change my tone. Thanks for watching and commenting though.

dude. this is the best cover of this song i have found so far. you play the song in the background, but it's actualy in the fucking background and you can hear your guitar over it. Everyone else is like blaring the song over their guitar which makes it sound like they arent even playing.

@jpsrevival So some of these may not be the way I play it in this video but it should help.

1. Start with an upstroke so you can outside pick it.

2. If you're going to be alternate picking it pull off the last 4 notes, to keep the same picking pattern.

3. The most important thing though, is just to practice it slower if you can't get it.

I hope that's at least a LITTLE useful.

@jpsrevival Have you tried down picking the palm mutes, but up picking the higher notes? That's how I play it now, so you still get the down picked sound, but it's less tiring.

i have 5 years playing guitar and I still cant play like this, its like im stuck this is stressfull. any tips for the sweeping part? =S

@ReaLMaGGoT666 It's not a competition so don't worry about deadlines or how long it takes you to play something. I do have a few things that might help you though. You might wanna try a thicker pick, because it glides right through the string (I use a 3mm lol). Also (even though you hear this all the time) practice SLOW, it's bad enough to learn a heard part once, but even worse if you have to relearn it because it's sloppy. Use a metronome, start at half speed and go up 1 bpm every 5 mins.
