The tragedy is that elite domination is the default setting for society and has been ever since people learnt to grow crops. You look back at the long history of lower class rebellions, the Spartacan slave revolt, the dozens of peasant rebellions throughout the middle-ages, the strikes through the depression and 20th century, and they have all failed in the end. They shake the system a little, they get a concession, and then they disappear. It feels terrible, but maybe the system is permanent.

The division of the people against one another has always been the main weapon of the exploitative elite. Only through solidarity can that weapon be overcome.

You had a thumbs down for your comment. I understand that you made it a year ago but shit. How is this not obvious to people, that someone would actually give you a thumbs down. Offcourse it's a tactic to create division. The more classifications of differences assigned to the populace, the easier it is for individuals to identify themselves as seperate entities.

Maybe that's because people are diffrent. I like potatoes my friend dosen't. Dose that mean he is wrong? In HS alot of the black kids sat at all black tables dose that mean they are racists? It's part of being human we search out others that feel and think the same. There are others we disagree with so we stay away to prevent altercations.

Yeah when everyone agrees on something until then you and zinns thought process is a bit skewed. Then again you can always follow Marx's train of thought and just destroy the people you don't agree with....then they won't be there to voice there opinions.
