I always want to feel bad for singers that step into bands and take over for previous singers, regardless of their not being in the band. Not only do people constantly compare them to the previous singer, but they always get the bad rap. I think this new singer is a good pick for such a talented and PAINFULLY difficult range and style of singing. Personally, I applaud this man for doing such a brave thing by joining and doing really quite well with this song. Well done chap!

I got the new album as soon as I knew it had been released - about three months after its release. Most of it took several listens to grow on me (aside from "Too Late", which I already knew and loved - it's modern classic Foreigner!), but this one had me on the first pass. After my first listen to the whole album, I went back and listened to this, and confirmed that yes I did like it. I also like "Can't Give Up" and "Angel Tonight", but they could have done without "Lonely".

This one is one of them! Even though released already in September 2009 it just starts in Germany, but gets played more and more often... FOREIGNER haven't lost anything of their "magic" and quality over the years...

"Lost a lot when Lou left?" Did you catch any of the shows during the '99,00 and '02 tours? Pre-op Lou will forever be my alltime favorite rock vocalist but I wasn't sad to see post-op Lou leave the band. The shows are MUCH better now. The improvement is startling the first time you see this lineup in concert.
