@rotenburk No mate, that's Ableton Live. If you need more information check out Ableton.com. You can do this in FL Studio aswell, but it will not sound better because FL does not really have a good sidechain effect.

Amazing beat at 3:55. Any advice to an FL 10 user on how I can achieve this type of sound? Its common knowledge that built in drum pads for FL are placeholders for better ones. No matter what I do on FL, I know my drums will never sound this good. Say I use Live 8, even. Could I achieve this without a drumkit?

u want his drums just layer up 2 or 3 snares go to performance & DJ and add DJ master channel to your snares n just add some delay and switch up the wet a bit on the reverb

dude I gave up on sylenth cuz of that, the best way i did it though, was just record my self using sylenth and the filter control,, then use that Audio recording in ableton instead of the MIDI notes...hope that helps.

@jk120808 i was really frustrated with that too but then i found that if you click on the little black downpointing arrow on sylenths title bar, then it expands, and you can use the "configure"button. just click on "configure" so it lights up, then click on the knob wich u want to automate, and turn it a little bit, when u turn it, it should activate and show up both down at the device and up in the automation chooser on the midi track ;D
