  • doesn't alex look like larry the elephant from college humor?

  • I just read Gaiman's work. Very good but so sad.

  • I don't really like Neil Gaiman I don't like the whole dream crap

  • You guys are total marvel junkies and anti DC. Seriously DC has some of the best storylines. Marvel has so many cheezy storylines. I still like marvel, but you guys are way to anti DC. Crappy storyline "DeadPool" I wanna see your reviews on those comics.

  • Really? This whole video was about how incredible and classic a new Batman story was. That seems pretty pro-DC to me...

  • heeey, I'm from Norway!

  • After reading batman i was very dissapointed. After all the dence converluted stuff thats just passed i didnt expect or like a dream sequence that will ultimatly have no relivence.

  • It's an homage, man. What do you want? Batman comes back from teh dead!! wow... big surprise. Bruce Wayne is dead, the Dark Knight has fallen in combat, move one man, Bruce's time is over.

  • i agree with you guys about hydra nothing in marvels past justifies this defiintely not earned

  • 6:15

That's because you're a Marvel zombie. First reaction is always "DC = BAD!"

  • Kid watching over the cars=pre crisis Jason Todd

  • Just got Batman 686. It looks so good! I haven't even read it yet but I can just tell from the look of it how cool it is going to be!

  • The lightning looks like crap with this camera..

    Great episode though!

  • "Hey kid, Watch my car for me?" "I...uh...I...uh..." "Oh for heavens sake! It's a rough neighborhood, It's a lovely car, I want someone to keep an eye on it. Is that so hard to understand?" "But you're The Joker" "Obviously" "You'll kill me" "Why would I want to kill you? I want my car looked after. Twenty bucks." "I...I don't think so." "Twenty. Bucks." "But you'll kill me."

  • "Kid I'm The Joker, I don't randomly kill people, I kill people when it's funny.

What would conceivably be funny about killing you?"

  • Gaiman's Batman story is very poignant (like most of his stories). Unfortunately I have not read the original "Man of Tomorrow" predecessor to this story, so I'll withhold a lot of close analysis of the narrative. The issue definitely made me excited to read Batman again. The whole RIP thing kind of lost me mid-run for a number of reasons.

    Thank you Neil Gaiman!

  • After reading Batman 686 I agree with it reminding me of the animated series. It really did have that feel. Those of you who read will also like the ending where you see the two shadows against the wall one of them is Batman the other I'm hoping turns out to be another Gaiman character. You know who I'm talking about. :)

  • you guys are so much better without the bottles as for your reviews..Pete is still the man!!

  • I'm with the majority on this one. Batman #686 was awesome. The are was fantastic and the story has me hooked. Alfred's story was quite clever. I can't wait to see how this wraps up. Wish I'd gotten to see you guys at NYCC.

  • Yea the whole Hyrdra and SHIELD thing was crazy!

  • I'm with Pete on Batman. Good start then they lost me still I think I have to wait to get a full opioon

  • Is it just me or is the secret warriors reveil strait out of Nextwave: Agents of HATE??

  • Love the show but Justin please note...Normans are from Normandy (Thats in France!!!) People from Norway are Norwegians !!!

  • The Normans were originally from Norway and settled in France.

  • Great video. Excited for Batman #686.

In the middle of the video, is it just me, or does someone try to break into the skybox?

  • Secret Warriors was a good read.

    Check out our comic reviews!

  • JLA has really lost a lot of its luster.

  • And the avengers are finaly interesting again.

  • I'd take a book like Bad Dog over Dark Crisis anyday.

  • Are you guys going to post Justin's chinwag with the Great Robinson?

  • Wow, I love the term chinwag. The interview is actually already posted over at newsarama. They shot everything that we did at NY comiccon so it'll all be up over there.

  • Batman 686 is diffidently the highlight of this weeks new comics coming out. Every one should get it. If Neil Gaiman is doing it, it's pure enjoyment.

  • Hope u guys had fun :) Can't wait to see the couch again though.

  • Robinson was tight lipped about Justice League, the message was all superman. He did take a moment to slam Spiderman: One More Day. Though I do vaguely remember him mentioning something about JL in our newsarama interview...

  • I'm so happy that Kubert is going to be out of the DCU.

The three year deal (along with this brother) was stupid. They were nothing for a flash in the pan.

  • Just to reiterate, I hate you guys for getting Batman 686 early.

    Love the show guys :D

  • Awesome Show!!!

  • Awesome, while I have enjoyed some of Morrisons run on Batman, a lot of it was garbage(he writes the most cliche Joker EVER) which is a shame since Bats is my favorite character but judgng from your review this might totally redeem Batman monthly for me (Now if we could just Dini back soon)

  • Bad Dog was great and another winner for Kelly after the great I Kill Giants. Come on guys, give the superheroes a rest and review more indie comics!

  • I agree that indie comics are cool and more up my alley. But superheros are a staple of the comic world and make up the vast majority of it.

And really good indie comics come to the surface far less frequently because you have to search for them and they are made in smaller numbers.

I am not dissing indie comics, just saying it is understandable that they review them less often.

  • or what if dog the bounty hunter was an actual dog lol

  • I am so pumped about Batman. Lately, the only things that bring me to the store are Batman and Final Crisis.

  • Justin's the funniest one--who's wanting to kick his ass?

  • Justin is the funniest.

Alex is the smartest and driest (dry humor)

And Pete is the one the one that always inadvertently gives them openings to make jokes.

  • Maby Norman will drop the H.A.M.M.E.R on Hydra. But then again, Hammer is nothing but criminals so it prob be easier to control. "Ineeda Hill, good one. lol How could you forget her name after what she did in Invincible Ironman 10# WMW

  • the editing job on this one's really poor :P

  • They were probably editing it on the laptop at the con. Also they arnt used to dealing with multiple camera angles lol.

  • I know.....just found it really awkward though

  • I totally agree with the Norman Osborn thing can we take a break from him? I'm so excited for batman 686

  • yayz
