Either case, it is not a mantra but a nama or name with fourth vibhakti added. The actual mantras of Kartavirya are described in tantras and involve bija mantras.

This is what is called 'blind leading the blind'. Kartaviryarjuna, that the mantra refers to, was an Avatar of Sudarshana, Lord Vishnu's discus and killed at the hands of Lord Parashurama. The pictures on this video are of Lord Kartikeya or Subrahmanya, the son of Shiva and Parvati. The two are not same or related. Also, if one understands Sanskrit, it is easy to see that even the mantra is wrong - it should be kartavirya namostu te or kartaviryaya namaha.

Please arrange a Hawan in your home. Have some wooden sticks preferable of mango trees. Burn them and recite the mantra and swaha with havan samigri and good oil(Desi Ghee). You should use more wooden sticks so that all material burnt out totally. On next day, you should collect the ash of hawan, filter it and store fitered ash in containers. You are advised to eat atleast one spoon of hawan ash every day. Within few days, you may see very good results. I am taking many spoon daily.

Namaste, I really like this mantra, my question is throughout my life I have been badly treated by people due to my vulnerable and soft nature, and it still happens could I chant this mantra to teach them a lesson.

@kokokorina dont seek to "teach them a lesson " that creates more cycles of suffering , wish that they be healed in their thinking and learn to love.

your job is to learn understanding and respect for the feelings of sensitive people...

lucky you .. being so sensitive is a very useful spiritual tool.

It is advised to you to please recite this mantra and you will be surprised to see the results. While reciting, keep your eyes closed, concentrate on mantra and your breathing.

Thanks for this mantra. Oh that sweetest Lord Kartikeya. I have got His mercy without deserving it. Recently I started singing Om Skandaya namo namo, and I developed such a connection with Lord Kartikeya. He responds very very quickly, whatever issue is in question. This sweet powerfull deity is sooo kind. His help and blessings are so obvious, He almost appears in His form in even in front of people who do not deserve it like myself. which is different with the that has been shown in the video is karthikeeyaaya who is the son of Uma-Parameswar and his auspicious day is shukla shasthi, krithika and visaakha and pusya naksthra
