  • I want him inside me.

  • I just want say this to the people who think Buckethead is "different.. Good, I'm glad you say hes different, here is why..Cause "Normal" people decide to let the mass of people control the way they express themselves. Atleast Buckethead knows how to express himself without the fear of other peoples judgement. The new normal is being different.

And on the song..This is the BEST version he has ever done on this one. I'm extremely pleased on the way he decided to play this. Absolutely phenomenal.

  • he's my idol...because there is nothing he can't play on a stringed instrument.

  • 4 Government Officials watched this video.

  • buckethead is pure soul and pure chill...

  • Where's a backing track to this version? all I find is the 3, 4, and 5 minute version...

  • It's just something else seeing one of the best of this era perform when he is on. I don't think anyone plays any instrument more adeptly than he. I have seen some great performances, and seen some great performers, but this is just.... Kinda like Metallica groove rocks you, and BLS rips it up, jimi wraps around your feelings, and Floyd sinks into your soul through your ears - this man has some of all of that. Wish he knew what this does to us.

  • ima check em out oct 7th in austin, cant wait...forever bucket music

  • Hoping to see him live in Houston Tx at House of Blues Oct 6. Just started listening and I'm addicted. I wanna hear it all.

  • music sings...dam good ...

  • I discovered Bucket in a time of depression. The ferocious licks and smoothness led me to play several songs. It pulled me out of a long depression that was horrible. I went on to take happiness for granted, and let something bad happen. The last happy days I had with my best friend, lover, and best person I ever knew were the beginning days of my learning his music. He has done more for me than anyone. Thanks Bucket.

  • Is there a way to erase the 4 dislikes?

  • Comment removed

  • the thing with shredding and playing softly and emotionally is that, they're far easier by themselves than when you combine them, when you combine them, obviously its much harder to pull off, kinda like trying to get water and oil to mix,or rather, kinda like trying to juggle balloons filled with nitro glycerin and thumbtacks and not have one explode or pop. thats the best way i can describe it

i figure i might as well include that i suck while im at it just cause i felt like saying that

  • those 4 dislikes dont have a brain or a soul

  • I don't believe in God, but I think that's who behind the mask.

  • I was wrong to say slash is a better preformer

Buck, you are way better than slash

  • @q8icarus slash is a better drinker ; )

  • @TheLydianRocks still waitin on those 24 Satriani albums lolz galore punk.

  • @oddlyreasonable lol when you grow up a bit and learn how to argue properly you may get an answer, frankly i think its sad that you cant even go look stuff up yourself, you're like the 12 year old twats who ask people send them tabs and shit, and btw why did you change the amount of bucket albums??? re read your first post and then your concurrent ones, also its funny, you speak of the bands yet dont take into account satch always stuck with 1 name but changed line up, you sir are low IQ.

  • @TheLydianRocks yer such a douchewad as yer yt page demonstrates. Sure wish I could catch Buck on tour this year as I feel I'm watching a living legend.

  • @oddlyreasonable not a douchebag mate i just have an opinion, youre the 1 who started talking shit about somebody else first mate, and i wish i could catch bucket on his tour as well, just because somebody else has a different opinion doesn't mean they must hate whatever you're touting. i like buckethead as much as satch, i just think it sucks when people have to try and cockslap because they're insecure. if bucket was mainstream it would suck but you wouldn't need to elevate him, just enjoy

  • @TheLydianRocks shut up you started shit with me on the other vid you insane weirdo. Satch's 24 albums lets go. exacly shattup.

  • @oddlyreasonable lets go? lmao you're like a little boy. bucketheads 50+ albums lets go?? hahaha grow up, i'm done with you, anyone on here can go look up those albums including you, whatever excuse you give wont change anything and i realize you are now a child and a troll..goodbye sore loser, i expect a reply which i will ignore and let other people finish you off until you explain how you've changed what you originally said. stop asking me to do everything for you i've helped you enough

  • @TheLydianRocks insano the crazy clowns got nothing on you.

  • Only Bucket make wah effect without one :D

  • That last high note he bends up to with the whammy pedal is one of the coolest moves I've ever heard on the guitar.

  • This is one of the best improvisations I've heard. Seriously, this shit is real.

  • buckethead needs to be a tad louder and the crowd needs to be quieter

  • guitar was invented for buckethead

  • Best guitarist I've ever seen. Incredible songwriter too. Probably the most unique and gifted musician of recent times that I personally know of

  • @t0v3 Unique and gifted musicians are all around, most just happen to be tucked in a musical genre you might not have alot on knowledge of. Buckethead is a fantastic example of this and a great source of inspiration for many.

  • Buckethead's Guitar is freakin' Huge!!

the body is like 2 inches bigger on everyside, alot of people probably doesnt think that is very much, but if you are familiar with standard guitars those 2 inches makes a huge difference!!

  • Why do I feel that not many people are going to appreciate him or realize he's an absolute genius until he's dead? Almost like Jimi Hendrix. People need to realize his endless artistry. Don't even try to compare anyone to him, he's a guitar god.

  • @Thanatopsis11 i agree 100% mate i cant emphazise it enough

  • @CIAmrx

dude his guitar aint fretless hahah u dont even know what a fret is lol and there are no dimarzio in there either.they r gibson custom humbuckers. the fingerboard is markerless not fretless lmao. if u try to make fun of someone how bout u get ur facts straight.

  • @derrinlaird he said 24 fret "les paul" you fuckwit. not 24 fretless. learn to read

  • @derrinlaird The guitar he uses in this video has DiMarzio Air Nortons in neck and Breed in bridge..

And the fretboard has no inlays, not "markerless".

  • we need to kill 3 ppl

  • @Yarkza1990 Make That Four.

  • scream bitch!! haha it sounds like she´s being murdered or something....

  • @FortisBong They paid to watch Buckethead. We're watching it on youtube. If the venue allows it, the crowd can be as loud as they want. But it annoys me how speaker3600 called the crowd stupid because he's basically calling the people who came and PAID to watch, appreciate, and support Buckethead stupid. I don't see how he got 19 thumbs up.

  • @Naes201GR

I agree completely with you... there are 19 stupid idiots, who support that idiotic statement...

  • @perdido88 I know what a bunch of idiots huh

  • @Naes201GR damn crowd is at again

  • this is his best song

  • does someone know what efect is he using here?

  • @Xxthevirus2xX do u mean the delay?? its the like notes kind of repeating or echoing

  • @Xxthevirus2xX i think the effect he's using is phaser, delay, and reverb. those are the sounds i use when playing this song, and it sounds correct to my ears.

  • bn buckethead es el mejor!!!!!!!!

  • Mondo!!!

  • why does he have to be so fucking awsome :(

  • his songs are always better live

  • i think this is my favourite buckethead song.. anyone got tips on other in the same style? i havent really heard everything with him yet.

  • @najtrows Nothingham Lace but that's faster. Also Soothsayer but the closest is probably Sail on Soothsayer. Hope you like those :)

  • @WereRabbbit @118bone In fact is a customized Gibson Les Paul. Gibson released a Buckethead Signature Les Paul Replica a few months ago. You can see it in the Gibson's website.

  • 0:57 i swear somone yells ether fuck you! or love you!

  • @fightinglucan I reckon it's; JESSIEEEE Or Say cheese? Rofl

  • @youreanoobguitarst24 i think its HEADCHEDDER or CORNBREAD

  • hes under rated should be the best guitarist in the world

  • So is that sock head on drums playing with bucket head....

  • i have bucks signature guitar and i got his signature on paper i asked for a hug he just put his hand up......anyway it was a great show

  • i have bucks signature guitar and i got his signature on paper i asked for a hug he just put his hand up..... anyway it was a great show.

  • are you a female? i assume you are cuz of the name, bucky gets a little giddy around the kitty :p

  • You guys are incredibly uninformed. BH's signature guitar has been made and is available to everyone, that is true, but it costs $4311 or somthing around there. So if you're going to buy it, think twice about it. I'm planning to make his les paul. Granted, it's not going to be "his" guitar, but atleast I'm saving money and I can actually say it's worth it. It's not only going to look the same, it's going to sound exactly the same.

  • Also keep in mind the size of the guitar. Not a normal Les Paul. ;)

  • what do you mean?

  • @118bone

The guitar is oversized. Bigger than any standard Les Paul.

  • thx man

  • @sepehr11000 why does somebodys dad always have to talk bullshit lol you're totally right, the idea of talks about a sig are amusing when its already out

  • Comment removed

  • if I want to own a three guitars I will choose the buckethead les paul...all........but I can't...no money :(...damn

  • yes they are, its available now

  • Anyone know if they are making a BH signature les paul? Ive been hearing rumours.

  • i heard the same thing. i actually think gibson may come out with a signature les paul like BH's cuz one of my friends dads works for fender in california an he's said that they have been talkin about making a signature

if they do im definatly gonna buy it. hope i was to some help

  • @mclamb02 Well your friends dad is talking shit because he should already know its been out for a while

  • Already done.

  • in my opinion buckethead is better than his teacher paul gilbert..

  • Paul Gilbert didn't "teach" Buckethead. Buckethead took lessons and studied under many different guitarists. When Buckethead studied with Gilbert, Gilbert was (i think) 22 and Bucket was 20, so it wasn't a traditional teacher student relationship. Im sure Gilbert learned as much from Bucketehead as did Bucket from Gilbert.

  • @REPTARisGNARLY well said mate (Y)

  • i almost agree the other whitewash solo is sick, real passionate this is the second best video of this song tho.... another great song is sanctum..and king james

  • is buckethead a part time magician because he can just pull stuff like that riff out of the air? this guy has to be a part time majician without a doubt with the improv he can do

  • It hurts deep inside when i hear that them Jonas bitches also use a white Les Paul... atleast i know there never be as good as Buckethead... EVER!

  • @sellarsmitchell

haha yeah but it will never be bucket's customized 24-fret les paul with dimarzio pickups and a killswitch, will it? they are probably just using an alpine white les paul custom. while it is a nice guitar, bucket's les paul is 100% custom manufactured from gibson JUST for him

  • @sellarsmitchell his guitar is alot difference then theirs only appearance is the same i agree though.

  • @sellarsmitchell They'll never be as good because Buckethead is a true artist.

  • @sellarsmitchell Jonas Faggers

  • @sellarsmitchell lol dont worry there guitar wasent designed with 24 frets nor for shredding :)

  • love this solo!!

  • btw this video will never get the recognition it deserves, starts off smoothly with the most emotional solo ever heard from buckethead, i don't care what anyone thinks, this has to be it.. it's coming from his soul, like he's portraying a scene from his life or something.. topped off with a perfectly placed, best-saved-for-last shredding solo with emotion

  • buckethead = brian carroll

  • no they arent the same person brian carool is behind the stage buckethead walks on to the stage

  • stupid crowd always yelling and ruining the performance

  • @speaker3600 who would want to scream while listening to music?, i just dont get it.

  • @speaker3600 and i've heard he hated that !

  • @speaker3600 did u ever seen him live??? :P... cough cough! =D

  • @T3mPesT4h yeah I actually got to see him live for the first time last month at the Gothic Theatre in Denver. it was fucking epic. I posted a couple clips of the show on my profile

  • i like his improvements of the song :)) , 5s

  • Comment removed

  • 10 bucks says that Buckethead is Weird Al

    :P

  • no way lol buckethead is way taller

  • send me for sedex then

are you out of your mind?

  • lol

  • @ spinbunny

LOL^^^^ would love to see what he looks like yes...

  • i agree with what ev1 is saying about that its not a mistake its jazz, i think he was just trying to do something a little different and switch it up lots of bands and ppl do that so thats what i think was goin for example with jordan he rarely plays the original solo

  • i find it funny that these comments like "its a jazz note" "he meant to do it" are adorned on the pages of all the guitar virtuosos who have a mistake here and there on a performence, its like saying who superman would beat. OBVIOUSLY to anyone with a semi trained ear its a mistake, they happen, we are all human. but the diff between a good player and great 1 is a good player will make some mistakes and usually get out of it, a GREAT player will make the odd mistake and always get out of it

  • ?

    are you talking about 2:24?

  • @JacSPierce lol yeah! and i dont know why people make it a huge deal, an accidental and a mistake arent the same thing, and bucket never plays those "jazz notes" in that way EVER, so i dont get why people have to argue about it being on purpose, why does it matter? hes still 1 of the greatest guitarists alive! he is a legend!

  • i respect your comment, it could be a mistake, but i think it's on purpose.. the note sounds eerie and haunting, like he's walking scared through a ghost house, and nobody's gonna tell me buckethead would not or could not depict the emotion of fear through his playing..

anyways, it still sounds right so if it is a mistake i'd say he covered it up so well that there was no mistake.

  • naw a great player will make a mistake that sounds better. kinda like when your mom makes something better outta the leftovers

  • There has got to be some killer guitar face going on under that mask...

  • better than the studio version, this is much awesome!!

  • Sounds solid to me. Not his best version, but it shows you he varies it up at different shows...seems cool by me. Guess what? He probably farts likes a human too!

  • and what if he made a mistake? Hes just a man too:)

  • i dont think he did a mistake...maybe he did, but if he did, he integrated it into the song otherworldly good - anyways, this is so much better than the studio version (which by itself is an outstanding song)

  • does not sound like a mistake to me sounds like it went with it

  • He's sure having fun with that whammy pedal :D

  • Buckethead does not make mistakes. It was a perfectly timed alternative note. :p

  • OMG HE MADE A MISTAKE

    AND ITS ON CAMERA

    LETS EXPOSE HIMMMM

    people need to get real

    hes just human

    and he plays guitar

...hes just a lot better than most

    a lot!

  • that is normal when you wear a mask and your guitar has not exposive frets

  • Buckethead <3

  • You can't even tell he made a mistake. It became a fill almost instantly.

  • At least he did ok to cover it up. He kept tremmeling it and just kept going with it. That's talent.

  • Not a wrong note.. just jazz

  • Love the comment, and you are also 100% right :D It's not really a wrong note, its just jazz!

  • yes indeed, it was uhhh, just a passing chromatic tone

  • so true, man.. just cuz he threw in something different doesn't mean it was a mistake.. by the way, that note fits perfectly, it sounds like a haunted note and the feeling i feel portrayed from this solo is fear and anger

  • are u gay? everyone makes mistakes u motherfucker

  • fuck ur cancer infected mum u gaytard cripple, faggot

  • you are retarded my man.....

  • y all teh thumbs down i tried a thumbs up but didnt work

  • You got "it" or you dont and buckethead just blew "it" out the water (Y) buckethead forever ^^

  • He's going to be live in Denver on the 27th, im going to see if i can rake up enough cash to go.

  • its worth it! he's so much fun live. he hands out toys sometimes too

  • this blows me away hes so awesome

  • I wish he woulda made the studio Whitewash this good. I wanna know if you can find mp3's of his live performances cause they're always more intricate.

  • Just convert the audio from this vid into mp3.

  • true...even this rendition is different from the one i have

  • this is what god looks like with a guitar.

  • i think god touched his fingers

  • read my above reply on this one.

  • next dumb comment anyone?

  • thats ironik lol

  • When i found this video it had like 1000 views, I'm so glad it's getting the recognition it deserves.

  • i love him i love him i love him

  • Buckethead Forever

    Ghost

  • LMAO

  • This beats every other version. I mean, for 6 minutes you can hear what on his incredibly complex mind.

  • one of my favorite guitar player all time...

    he make mistake in 2:24

  • yur bitch for looking at his mistakes lets see u play this this without any mistakes

  • no need to flame, I think the guy was kinda surprised to see Buckethead making one mistake. He's nearly perfect and he just pointed out one moment of that "nearly" :)

  • Nope, he doesn't

  • Yes,he do, but he's only a human :)

  • He's not human he's a GOD

  • Awesomely disquised, though.

  • Thats wasent a mistake :S

And if it was he disquisted it very good wich makes him even better !

    Buckethead

    Randy Rhoads

  • Kirk Hammet ? oO He's not good

  • He is good in my opinion, and probaply also in others.. n00b

  • lol ... show me one of his "extra" solo's on youtube. ;]

  • Kirk's not good anymore if that's what you mean... the new album sucked in my opinion, and so did anything Metallica from Reload on...

  • Care to explain why?

  • You mean why the album sucked? Same reason Greenday's / AC DC's etc. new album sucked. All those bands have lost their passion for making good music because they got rich among other things. Then, they ran out of money and had to use their star power to make a last ditch effort to make a quick buck. Sad really...

  • And i don't know why bands feel like they have to change their style. Always after like 5 years or more they change, when their last albums were hits and the new ones are quite... weird

  • well, as a an aspiring artist, it gets boring playing the same stuff all the time.

  • Greenday was never any good.

  • awesome choices.

  • 1.- Buckethead

    2.- Satriani

    3- Syu
