  • Hit the State in Their pocketbook!

I think the bars should pull their lottery out in protest!

  • Are any of those ban lobbyists local people?

  • If the sign at the entrance says that inside people crap on their seats, it's people's choice to go in or go somewhere else. And it's up to the owner to decide whether he/she wants to have a place where people can freely crap on their seats.

However, the discussion is bogus unless there's a voiced request for places like that.

And how is mentioning crapping on seats less off-topic than sedna69a's mentioning of gay bars?

  • Overall the loss can be from several percent to 1/3 or more depanding on the community, weather, level of enforcememt, and level of non-compliance. Within that it was found in Hawaii that upscale wine bars had no loss while late night clubs lost 20-30. Some small working class bars lost 50% or more and had smoking rates of customers as high as 2/3.

  • Its not about health, its about control. The government just wants to control us, and tell us what we can and can't do.
