Oh my goodness, I"m so happy to learn I'm not the only fan of Philip Quast. I've followed the man since I was 12 years old. And had a massive crush on him I was entering 7th grade and. Philip Quast was the reason I could not date in high school. NO one could possibly come even close to handsomeness like his! I'm 26 today, and I recently resaw the same 10th anniversary footage and felt the same little spark. Oh i'm so pleased to see others feel the same way i do!
i wonder if mr. quast ever reads online about his fan base. originally, before i saw videos online, i was so in love with this guy's voice and eyes...then his whole face...then everything...and my friends think i'm nuts for loving someone so much older than i am (35 years), but i understand now i am not alone in thinking this man is gorgeous!

My parents dragged me to a show and i was bored out of my tiny mind. Then, the PBS 10th anniversary came on a few weeks later and they made me watch it again. I was bored, but, suddenly I heard "Now bring me prisoner 24601" and an incredibly hot man with a beautiful voice captured me. I watched the whole thing to see him again! And my parents were dismayed that I liked "The Bad Guy"
Javert, in my opinion, is probably the most tragic character in the entire show. . . And he probably has the best songs/lines as well. . . .
Whenever I watch "Javert's Suicide" from TAC I cry. His EYES, man. HIS EYES. They make me fangirl squeal . . . . *sigh* (the fact that his voice is that of God's adds to it as well)
I read all 46 comments to confirm that I wasn't alone in thinking so highly of Philip Quast. Also, the fact that I think he's incredibly sexy and sophisticated is not only thought by me helps a ton too. If I ever met the guy... I'd think I might actually faint (which would be awesome if he caught me) You know who I really feel bad for? The wife and kids; if either party ever saw these remarks... well, the kids would most likely be scarred, that's almost certain.
Oh, thank goodness I'm not the only person who finds this man so attractive! Every time he sings in Les Mis 10th, I just want to scream, faint, cry and laugh and then faint some more, just to wake up with those eyes on my computer screen and repeat! I'd commit some felony just to be arrested by him, I'll tell you that much! I absolutely love it when, during Fantine's Arrest, he fixes the mic ever so slowly. XD Also, if Mr. Quast is reading this: "Hi! I don't mean to creep/sketch you out!"
I've thought of another song that would fit Javert well. :)
The song I'm thinking of is "Mordred's Lullaby". I heard it first on a fanvid for Darken Rahl, a character (the baddie) from Legend of the Seeker, a TV series.

I wouldn't let him ride a motorcyle, if I were in such a position. Reason: In the 1998 movie, Javert gains control of a horse-and-carriage and drives it so fast that it topples over! :o
It seems that Javert is unfortuantely prone to failure. He can't ride. And he's a horrible detective - look at the TAC One Day More: He's standing right next to the guy, and he *still* can't catch him?!
I wonder if he is reading this...if Javert ever saw this whole fangirl thing, he'd probably freak, and then say something like "I don't need female sympathy." And then arrest all of us... Well, that wouldn't be that terrible! :)
Wow! That really does fit Javert! That was really well done. Mr. Quast is just goregous, I just want to tell Javert that he doesn't have to learn to be lonely, that I 'd be there for him and then give him a hug. Its suprising how versitile his voice is as well becouse when hes not Javert our beloved Mr Quast has quite a soft voice (as evidence in Lilly's Eyes)
