The "Fair" tax is highly unfair to the people who HAVE to consume. Sure, saving isn't penalized, but consuming IS. Why would you want to penalize the middle class for keeping this economy running? The fairtax is such a socialist move... You would think Huckabee is a Democrat... The income tax has loopholes because it's not exactly legal, according to the constitution. The fairtax would make collectivism mandatory and perfectly legal.
