I am for a new independent investigation as well. There are not two possibilities which are what most truthers seem to suggest, either the "official story" or the US (Israeli, NWO or whatever) government did it. Many of the "truther" claims are untrue just like parts in the 9/11 commission report are incomplete.

I'm a Ron Paul supporter. Putting myself in his shoes, I can see why he did that interview. After hearing a sound bite of this Alex Jones, I wasn't impressed with that decision.
All candidates make mistakes. RP however is making excellent choices overall in many ways without the aid of expensive teams of lawyers, and consultants. Unlike most who use polls and staff to determine what they will say, RP is untarnished by influence. He is all real.

I don't agree with all of Ron Paul's views, but he makes some profound points about issues which are increasingly drowned out by the overwhelming rhetoric of patriotism and preservation of the
'American Way of Life' at all costs. The fact is that US foreign policy did play a crucial role in 9/11 - regardless of whether you believe the official 9/11 Commission report, or that the attack was allowed to happen for the purpose of inducing a permanent, Gloabal War on Terror.
