  • also I have tail vib more than your heli. A few things that I did was put elec tape under the fin, few small cut strips to put space between bracket and fin on tail boom so you can tighten it more and it holds its place and the boom. It seems you have done all like BDTG say maybe tail blades I think I will change on my heli. Also just wanted to say for the EXI PRO the shafts that are like $2 for 2 (Xheli) or something like that are bent. I baught 3 packs all had a small very small bend

  • I have been hunting a tail vibe on my 450 for about a month now. I replaced the tail shaft 3 times only to find out that each shaft I tried was bent. Brand new shafts came bent/warped. Don't waist your money on cheap parts as it will cost you the same as good parts in the long run. I tried some parts from Hobby City. They are junk. I do not plan on buying any more heli parts from them. I have tried allot of there stuff and it is hit and miss, more miss than hit in my experience.

  • Did you ever figure this one out?

by the way cool channel.... just subscribed.

    peace

  • @porousorifice

Never did figure it out. About the only thing left to check was main bearings. I just decided to part it out and move up. I now have an EXI 500 that's doing MUCH better.

  • If that doesn't do I would make sure that the tail grips don't have any play... I noticed that once the screw holding the tail backed out just a hair and that means symmetry is off therefore balance is off. The biggest thing (even after upgrading to a CNC tailbox) was the blades. I prefer the TREX plastic blades because their weight is spot on... and lastly make sure your main blades are balanced well too!

  • I agree with wickedclown.... I just had a vibration hunt on my EXI and I had 2 issues I found. The stock plastic tail box doesn't clamp well on the tailboom so it moved whenever there were vibrations, and replace the tail shaft (you said you did though). If that doesn't fix it check the weight of the tailblades. I was running fiberglass blades and they turned out to be 2 grams off from eachother... thats HUGE for vibrations. Also make sure ALL the screws on the tailbox are tight.

  • check the tail shaft stand behind the heli and see if its spiniing straight.
