As for Dean and Dave, now that Chris is with Jackson, it's just a matter of time before Dave returns to Jackson. Even his guitar shape resembles the King V, including his ESP. There is a video of him being interviewed by a rep from Dean and it is quite subtle that he wants to rekindle his relationship with Jackson. Seems that he's with Dean for contractual reason.

@verbotenco What he said is that he was thinking about going back to jackson, but Dean made him a better offer. That was also 5 years ago. Since then he's said that the quality of these guitars are better than any of the other brands or models he's used before, and that his solos are much clearer now with the combination of woods Dean uses. Obviously he uses only one brand because of a contract. That's the same of any artist affiliated with any guitar company.

@Rahan482 kahlers win in a few areas but are bad in others. I think the main reason they arent used as much is because of the unfixed tuning issue. They are better for smooth vibrato and wanking, but as soon as you hit a bend you go right out of tune, and not every lead guitarist likes to dive at the end of every solo. Dave does lots of bends, so thats a likely reason theres no kahler trem. Kahler fixed however is really good. floyds do everything decently and stay in tune frt and Orig

@zztop527 i'm pretty sure they have non floating Kahlers, only one of the Jackson Y2KV (and one of his other V's had a floyd and i don't even know if they had em for sale) and how the hell are you gonna get a Dave jackson for this price? obviously i'll go with jackson any time but they are too rare and expensive, it's like getting an original KE1, it's impossible! only way to go, is custom...
