I really hate this stage. But not as much as I hate Gate's Lab Stage 2. Because that stage is just crazy and annoying without Blade Armor (And thank god I have it).

The answer on your first question is because of nightmare effect, once you play a stage or other bosses stage, there is a thing added on the stage where you playing now, the nightmare effect here was the soul spirit you could avoid it by using laser sheild.The one you asking is the spotlights. They cannot be neutralized...The darkening effect is caused after you kill MIjinion or Sheldon :))

and another question: The level of the bosses raises with the hunter rank.. ist it possible to keep collecting nightmare souls until X (with ultimate armor) reaches an rank where all the bosses are level 4 to fight against level 4 nightmare zero? i read that, if you deafeat al level 4 nightmare zero you obtain zero with his black armor!

I just beat this stage a few minutes ago with Normal X and Xtreme Mode.

A majority of the Mavericks are more annoying than life-threatening. The Mobandos, Batton Bones and a few Sea Attacker locations make the last half of this stage hard.

And the boss.... his Meteor rain attacks are not only damaging, but brutal...

I had like 10% HP left when I blasted Rainy.

Yeah. I rapidly fired on the first switch then charged up my buster and hit the second switch with a charged shot. I don't see a problem there.

Funny. What difference does it make if I use the X-Buster over the Saber? All I'll be doing is jumping and shooting, no different than me going in close range and jumping and slashing. It's basically the same thing since all the boss does is stand there while you attack him.

Also, this is a playthrough, not some "boss only video". I've done the entire stage and boss on Xtreme Mode using no armor plus I've shown all of the boss' attacks. What more could you ask for?

@RareSpectator in my opinion its mad cool when you can use regular shots too defeat a boss, theirs a better challenge in it, and that actually makes it more exicting too see, , ..why is it also so funny when you finish off a boss with one weak small plasma shot , then the boss does their trademark scream LMAO

Oh, you want a playthrough of Yammark's Stage. It looked like you just wanted the Yammark boss battle.

I'll be able to do that once I get all the Blade Armor parts. Since Yammark is already dead, you'll have to settle with Amazon Area's Nightmare Zone and Dynamo.
