I liked a certain character that kills Ironhide that I'm not mentioning to avoid spoilers. He was more of what Megatron should have been. Desperate for survival of his race, showing signs of racism towards humans, strong and intelligent, pretty much does to Megs what he should have done to Starscream more often, has a greater sense of antagonism with Optimus. Also, apparently had the twins been in the film HE would have killed them as well.

Cybertron, a planet of dead robots and broken tech, could have been left alone. Megatron and his last remaining followers could have went back to Cybertron and live the rest of their days in misery and shame. At the end of film, Frenzy could have reappeared alive somehow such for fun.
There u have it. Wheeeeew! This info could have helped make TF Dark of the Moon as greater movie. It could have been a four-star movie with all this stuff I had if I, or some other smart guy helped Michael Bay out. You can reply about my info whenever you want by inbox. No more comedic apsect for adaptated films.
Once again, for the Shockwave and Optimus battle for the end, Shockwave could have had his eye slashed off by Optimus' one arm's sword. Then, Shockwave uses secret sensors to aid him before his demise. He catches Optimus's one arm with great strength and says, "While blinded, I AM A MATCH FOR YOU OPTIMUS." Shockwave could have had a better fight and kicked Optimus to the ground with great force. Then, Bumblebee returns to distract and help defeat Shockwave. Then, Optimus kills Shockwave.
Some of the robots could have not been too goofy and oil spitters (damn Bay for letting robots spit too much oil out AGAIN), Wreckers could have been powerful demolishers against Decepticons and they could have helped Optimus reach to Sentinel and Shockwave.
Great part for Sentinel to allow Optimus to keep the Matrix of Leadership, but he soon plans to try and take it back if his plans fail, but Shockwave wants it and he uses special tech he built in secret to control all of the remaining Decepticons against Sentinel, Megatron, the Autobots, Sam and Carly, and the Nest Guys. The parents should have only been in ONE scene. One! The Obama part was great and it can stay.
The Decepticons and their leaders could have just plan to take over Earth with the moon's hidden techonology and transport devices. Earth could've been a new Cybertron which Sentinel has envisioned before Optimus and friends came to screw it all up; Dylan could have let his human bodyguards take on Sam and Nest soldiers near the end of the film while there is a big final fight at Chicago; more speaking and scenes for robots while with human characters in films.
But, in Washington, Starscream could have blasted Optimus while Sentinel helps out and prevents Optimus from being a foolish hero. Shockwave had so much room in film and he and Sentinel could have had a big partnership before the ultimate deception of the one-eyed logical evil; Shockwave could have led the Decepticons after Megatron wants to be the leader of all the robots helping to rule the world. No Cybertron to Earth's galaxy shit. That was stupid.
Humans as secondary characters, not robots. Damn Bay for this. Dutch should have been the only funny character, but we get Ken Jeong and some other crappy comedy guys. Ken Jeong could have been much better while as a funny character. Starscream's death was actually funny and crazy, but it could have been much better; Starscream could have had fought the Wreckers while Sam tries to kill him. Megatron could have talked to Optimus before he tries to fight him in Washington.
The acting needed to be better, but some of it was not; there shouldn't be an Igor robot with Megatron except his babies from the Fallen's Nemesis Ship; Shockwave could have fought Optimus at beginning with Driller; Sam still might have lost his Allspark source in his head, where is the info for that; there shouldn't have been any comedy bits except some funny stuff; the movie needed more character development for robots; many human characters screwed up this film.
The Driller and Shockwave could have helped Sentinel take down the Nest heroes and Autobots more while with the rest of the Decepticons. The Driller could have destroyed more and end up battling the autobots and flying optimus all together. Bumblebee could have been damaged by Sentinel; Lennox could have been killed by Shockwave to make the movie more serious; Megatron could have been knocked off of the tower building by Sentinel to make him sit down and not do anything else.
Megatron and some of his last remaining teammates could have surrendered and moved away in shame and defeat in Cybertron. Carly and Sam could have had a better end. Optimus should have just killed Shockwave in the end while Shockwave had a higher advantage; his eye could have been slashed off and then he activates his special sensors and says, "While blinded, I AM A MATCH FOR YOU OPTIMUS." Both have a crazy fight and Optimus almost dies from Shockwave's cannon.
Shockwave could have been the real villain along with Sentinel. Shockwave coud have used the robots from the moon to aid Sentinel while working behind Megatron's back. Megatron could have fought more and be a minor force since he was weakening. Sentinel could have not just killed Ironhide, but maybe some of the major human characters. Optimus could have fought Shockwave in a major final battle after beating Sentinel with Megatron's help.
Megatron in Transformers 3 looked like a poor beat up homeless guy. Felt sorry for him. LOL What I don't like about transformers is that even if a character dies, they always come back to life. I think they should of made Megatron stronger by having him and Sentinel Prime transform together and become SENTINEL MEGATRON!
even if that breaks from the original cartoon show.
Really nice review, u know i always look for reviews on YouTube because frankly, movie critics hate on basically every movie that the general public thinks is good. Including this 1, and it's unfortunate because its stopping a lot of people from seeing this great movie. Even the first Transformers movie was dumped by critics, they gotta stop analyzing and ENJOY the movie.

I hated the fact that Megatron didn't get to do ANYTHING besides blow up the Lincoln Memorial and kill Sentinel (oops spoilers!). I did like his line "What would you be without me, Prime?" but not how he was killed after.
I actually thought it was all right and i really did like skids and mudflap, i thought they were funny ass. The movie has a few flaws that could've been better but other than that it's all right. I DID NOT LIKE Megan Fox's replacement because she was not that hot which is not to say i miss Megan Fox because she's a bitch in real life but much hotter though.I actually liked the second one better som i'd give this movie a 7 or 8.5 because the effects were really good but didn,t have the spark.
I actually thought there was more dialog among transformers in this one compared to the other 2. Especially between Starscream and Megs. Not enough though for sure. Hearing that flaps and skids are not in the 3rd makes me want to see it now... I had the same feelings about them. Sadly they were stereo-typed and projected to the audience so poorly. But yes, all in all... TF2 was poorly written. Here's to your positive feedback on the 3rd, cheers!
@DCompose Hey man it seems as if there's a problem with the AC in my theater to and Cspray another Canadian but of the east coast (it was a new imax theater so I get it) That was the AMC theater in Jersey and i saw the premiere. I liked it a hell of a lot better than the previous movie. Glad to see that the racist robots and Meagan Fox are gone. (Never was a fan of her, sorry.) While the action and effects were amazing, I really cant say the same for the plot and characters. I agree with ya, WAY BETTER than the 2nd movie, but not as good as the first.
I gotta disagree. I loved the first one and thought this was the same thing as the second one. Same basic plot structure, Sam's character development was a joke, great action scenes and more of the horrible dorky humor that was amped up in the second one.
@DCompose In my opinion they should have had Optimus get out the wires sooner...even then that scene made me facepalm he was there practically the whole time.

Dark of the Moon made Revenge of the Fallen look like gold. This movie was horribly written. No character development for the humans or robots. Everything was bland, and the storyline was full of so many plotholes that leave so many unanswered questions.
This is a total abortion of a film. It makes Revenge of the fallen look good! Badly plotted (did a 5 year old think of it), scripted, edited, acted, directed and all round pile of crap!
@DCompose. I read the CARNAGe comics. There pretty good his wings looked a little funky. I also like how iron man and spidey practically had their jaws on the ground when they saw carnage sprout wings and not only fly away but not attack spidey.
1.when the fallen was alive and had the matrix. Why didn't he just revive sentinel. together the two primes would've been unstoppable.

Ok, Megatron should have gotten more screen time, Decepticons are scattered all across the planet and no steeljaw :( but I still loved it. I can see them making a part 4. There were too many cons left across the globe.
Cool Transformers stuff ruined by unfunny human storylines that made it feel like a parody movie. I thought a good hour and a half of it was dreadful. The Transformers stuff which made up about an hour was pretty good

I thought it was a pretty good flick. It was cool that they had Leonard Nimoy voice Sentinel Prime. The Starscream scene was stupid in my opinion. He seemed to struggle way too much for just having his eye being pulled on.
Heres an idea for Hollywood why don't they just humanize the Robots like giving the robots like emotions or something kinda like for the Navi in Avartar. Blue humaniods don't appeal to all people but James Cameron still did it and everyone went with it. I say they should reboot the transformers movie. It could focus on the Autobot adjusting to life on earth instead of it being about stupid human characters. What do you think of this idea Dcompose? :)
Did you ever see the muppets movies, its fun movies all about puppets all from their perspective but the way the movie is made we audienece can relate and like the characters even though they are made of fabric. So if the muppets movies can make us people like them and relate to them I think Hollywood could make a movie about giant robots who adapt to living on earth mixed with some good action which they can do.

It was awesome. I will not go into great detail, but it had quite a few surprises, as you mentioned. I'm going to see it again next Tuesday with my girlfriend.
Oh and those who want to see it in 3-D, save your extra $5, as it didn't add any real "depth' to the movie whatsoever...in my opinion.

Saw this twice back to back in 3D and 2D. 3D was far better in every way. Very different from the other two movies. A lot more darker and emotional. At many points, the Decepticons kill people. Very amazing movie.
Oh and my movie was delayed for 20 minutes the first time I saw it.

I liked the movie. Didn't see anything wrong with it. Well except the fact that story really moved in slow pace.
And I was forced to watch 3D version, because there was no 2D version near me.
I don't want to drive 100 miles to see a 2D movie, so I just had to watch it that way. But lucky for me, 3D worked fine.

Shockwave could have had a better fight and kicked Optimus to the ground with great force. Then, Bumblebee returns to distract and help defeat Shockwave. Then, Optimus kills Shockwave.

Some of the robots could have not been too goofy and oil spitters (damn Bay for letting robots spit too much oil out AGAIN), Wreckers could have been powerful demolishers against Decepticons and they could have helped Optimus reach to Sentinel and Shockwave.

Great part for Sentinel to allow Optimus to keep the Matrix of Leadership, but he soon plans to try and take it back if his plans fail, but Shockwave wants it and he uses special tech he built in secret to control all of the remaining Decepticons against Sentinel, Megatron, the Autobots, Sam and Carly, and the Nest Guys. The parents should have only been in ONE scene. One! The Obama part was great and it can stay.

The Decepticons and their leaders could have just plan to take over Earth with the moon's hidden techonology and transport devices. Earth could've been a new Cybertron which Sentinel has envisioned before Optimus and friends came to screw it all up; Dylan could have let his human bodyguards take on Sam and Nest soldiers near the end of the film while there is a big final fight at Chicago; more speaking and scenes for robots while with human characters in films.

But, in Washington, Starscream could have blasted Optimus while Sentinel helps out and prevents Optimus from being a foolish hero. Shockwave had so much room in film and he and Sentinel could have had a big partnership before the ultimate deception of the one-eyed logical evil; Shockwave could have led the Decepticons after Megatron wants to be the leader of all the robots helping to rule the world. No Cybertron to Earth's galaxy shit. That was stupid.

Humans as secondary characters, not robots. Damn Bay for this. Dutch should have been the only funny character, but we get Ken Jeong and some other crappy comedy guys. Ken Jeong could have been much better while as a funny character. Starscream's death was actually funny and crazy, but it could have been much better; Starscream could have had fought the Wreckers while Sam tries to kill him. Megatron could have talked to Optimus before he tries to fight him in Washington.

The acting needed to be better, but some of it was not; there shouldn't be an Igor robot with Megatron except his babies from the Fallen's Nemesis Ship; Shockwave could have fought Optimus at beginning with Driller; Sam still might have lost his Allspark source in his head, where is the info for that; there shouldn't have been any comedy bits except some funny stuff; the movie needed more character development for robots; many human characters screwed up this film.

The Driller and Shockwave could have helped Sentinel take down the Nest heroes and Autobots more while with the rest of the Decepticons. The Driller could have destroyed more and end up battling the autobots and flying optimus all together. Bumblebee could have been damaged by Sentinel; Lennox could have been killed by Shockwave to make the movie more serious; Megatron could have been knocked off of the tower building by Sentinel to make him sit down and not do anything else.

Megatron and some of his last remaining teammates could have surrendered and moved away in shame and defeat in Cybertron. Carly and Sam could have had a better end. Optimus should have just killed Shockwave in the end while Shockwave had a higher advantage; his eye could have been slashed off and then he activates his special sensors and says, "While blinded, I AM A MATCH FOR YOU OPTIMUS." Both have a crazy fight and Optimus almost dies from Shockwave's cannon.

Shockwave could have been the real villain along with Sentinel. Shockwave coud have used the robots from the moon to aid Sentinel while working behind Megatron's back. Megatron could have fought more and be a minor force since he was weakening. Sentinel could have not just killed Ironhide, but maybe some of the major human characters. Optimus could have fought Shockwave in a major final battle after beating Sentinel with Megatron's help.

Megatron in Transformers 3 looked like a poor beat up homeless guy. Felt sorry for him. LOL What I don't like about transformers is that even if a character dies, they always come back to life. I think they should of made Megatron stronger by having him and Sentinel Prime transform together and become SENTINEL MEGATRON!

Really nice review, u know i always look for reviews on YouTube because frankly, movie critics hate on basically every movie that the general public thinks is good. Including this 1, and it's unfortunate because its stopping a lot of people from seeing this great movie. Even the first Transformers movie was dumped by critics, they gotta stop analyzing and ENJOY the movie.

I hated the fact that Megatron didn't get to do ANYTHING besides blow up the Lincoln Memorial and kill Sentinel (oops spoilers!). I did like his line "What would you be without me, Prime?" but not how he was killed after.

I actually thought it was all right and i really did like skids and mudflap, i thought they were funny ass. The movie has a few flaws that could've been better but other than that it's all right. I DID NOT LIKE Megan Fox's replacement because she was not that hot which is not to say i miss Megan Fox because she's a bitch in real life but much hotter though.I actually liked the second one better som i'd give this movie a 7 or 8.5 because the effects were really good but didn,t have the spark.

I actually thought there was more dialog among transformers in this one compared to the other 2. Especially between Starscream and Megs. Not enough though for sure. I saw this one in 4D here in Seoul Korea. It was like being on a 2 and a half hour rollercoaster. Pretty dope. Do you guys have 4D theaters in North America yet? just wondering

Hearing that flaps and skids are not in the 3rd makes me want to see it now... I had the same feelings about them. Sadly they were stereo-typed and projected to the audience so poorly. But yes, all in all... TF2 was poorly written. Here's to your positive feedback on the 3rd, cheers!

@DCompose Hey man it seems as if there's a problem with the AC in my theater to and Cspray another Canadian but of the east coast (it was a new imax theater so I get it) That was the AMC theater in Jersey and i saw the premiere. I'm seeing it again tomorrow in a different theater lets hope the AC is on :/

I liked it a hell of a lot better than the previous movie. Glad to see that the racist robots and Meagan Fox are gone. (Never was a fan of her, sorry.) While the action and effects were amazing, I really cant say the same for the plot and characters. I agree with ya, WAY BETTER than the 2nd movie, but not as good as the first.

I gotta disagree. I loved the first one and thought this was the same thing as the second one. Same basic plot structure, Sam's character development was a joke, great action scenes and more of the horrible dorky humor that was amped up in the second one.

Dark of the Moon made Revenge of the Fallen look like gold. This movie was horribly written. No character development for the humans or robots. Everything was bland, and the storyline was full of so many plotholes that leave so many unanswered questions.

Heres an idea for Hollywood why don't they just humanize the Robots like giving the robots like emotions or something kinda like for the Navi in Avartar. Blue humaniods don't appeal to all people but James Cameron still did it and everyone went with it. I say they should reboot the transformers movie. It could focus on the Autobot adjusting to life on earth instead of it being about stupid human characters. What do you think of this idea Dcompose? :)

Did you ever see the muppets movies, its fun movies all about puppets all from their perspective but the way the movie is made we audienece can relate and like the characters even though they are made of fabric. So if the muppets movies can make us people like them and relate to them I think Hollywood could make a movie about giant robots who adapt to living on earth mixed with some good action which they can do.

I saw it last night, Tuesday, June 28th @ 8:45PM :)
It was awesome. I will not go into great detail, but it had quite a few surprises, as you mentioned. I'm going to see it again next Tuesday with my girlfriend.
Oh and those who want to see it in 3-D, save your extra $5, as it didn't add any real "depth' to the movie whatsoever...in my opinion.
Shockwave was bad-ass; he could've done more, but what can can you do?
Overall, I rate it 9 out of 10.

Saw this twice back to back in 3D and 2D. 3D was far better in every way. Very different from the other two movies. A lot more darker and emotional. At many points, the Decepticons kill people. Very amazing movie.
Oh and my movie was delayed for 20 minutes the first time I saw it.
