An islamic cap on what passes for entertainment? Culture heavy on a culture the developed world isn't and isn't going to be part of? Overall, the shape of the planned finished structure is not appealing. Asian skyscrapers have an air of modernity , while those in USA are symmetrical, and in Latin America they are becoming luxurious, but this one is not great looking; it gets thinner as it gets progressively taller. you are wrong about that. each floor is 50,000 square feet of concrete and steel! when the south tower collapsed, there was hundreds of thousands of tons of weight smashing into the floors below it. the weight is increased exponentially with each floor, making it easier to collapse the further down. adding in the fact that thousands of gallons of jetfuel burning the the steel's fire-resistive coating for two hours at 1500f, i KNEW it was only a matter of time when they would go down.

Its Called Pyramid City i believe You probably already knew that but i am pretty sure the said it was going to be 3,000ft not 13,000 but yea if you do a search on it People you can find a video clip and info and it will probably tell you just do a Search for Pyramid City alright well peace.

Overall, the shape of the planned finished structure is not appealing. Asian skyscrapers have an air of modernity , while those in USA are symmetrical, and in Latin America they are becoming luxurious, but this one is not great looking; it gets thinner as it gets progressively taller. Honestly, who needs such a thing in the middle of the desert?

the building is'nt finished yet,the building itself is really beautiful but look like a tower in a middlie of desert,once dubai's construction will be done it'll a great town,but actually you can't compare the latter to new york.

Oh ya? Well I made detailed plans for a rocket ship to carry me and my teddy bear to the MOOON using only crayons, a shopping cart, 5 matches and a card board box. I was only six at the time. My plans are still pending... pfffft 13,000 feet lol

It's called sarcasm. If you didnt dream about goin to the moon or something similar when you were a kid then you had a very sad childhood. I know what you're talking about, btw, it's really a mega city, shaped like a pyramid & only 6500 feet. There are also plans to build a tunnel/tram through the earth (one side to the other). My point is they are never going to build something like these dreams... From your single sentence you implied they are going to build it. That's all... no worries mate.

Is great, but Jin Mao is more emblematic for China. To bad they are so close togheter, cos' WFC kinda steal a bit of JM building aura. :(
Even if the arhitecture is great, the fact that is almost 100m shorter than WFC, will have to stay in "the shadow" of WFC.
Just imagine Chrisler Building right next to Empire State, even if the shape of CB is amazing, the diference in height is too big. But they are far away from eachoter, so is OK.

you are wrong about that. each floor is 50,000 square feet of concrete and steel! when the south tower collapsed, there was hundreds of thousands of tons of weight smashing into the floors below it. the weight is increased exponentially with each floor, making it easier to collapse the further down. adding in the fact that thousands of gallons of jetfuel burning the the steel's fire-resistive coating for two hours at 1500f, i KNEW it was only a matter of time when they would go down.

how did you KNOWit was a matter of time when fire has NEVER caused a Steel building to collapse EVER before OR since... and the theory about the exponential weight would only remotely hold true if the floors stayed in relatively 1 piece..... everything in the towers but the steel was pulverized to DUST, therefore did not have the weight or mass to crush anything below it.... there were no intach floors at the bottom. just steel and dust.

ok, let me explain this so that even YOU can understand. first, look at the design of the wtc buildings: tall, long, narrow, structures. each floor is supported by the floor below it. steel is strongest under compression, but weakest under flexion. the planes hit them perpindicularly, at about 200-300 mph. they greatly weakened the structures. that's like me breaking one of your legs with a kick, and slowly burning the ligaments in the knee of the other leg. the WEIGHT destroyed everything.

dude there were explosives in the wtc, the tower didnt collapese because of weight or because of jet fuel, it collapsed because there was detonations of explosives inside the building. dont you know that 3 bulding collapesd and NOT 2. the other one was also dmolished by explosives and the owner accidently accidently addimted it on tv
