  • Happy birthday Paul!

May I have the next dance please?

    Cheers and

    Birthday hugs

    xSabx

  • @SabMei1

    Thank you Sab.

You may, indeed, have the next dance.

I would wear steel toe-capped shoes though if I were you.

I am not called Gangly for nothing!!

    Take care

  • @Gangly1

    Ha-ha don´t worry - I have rubber feet...

Let´s create a new dance called Gangly step.

We will have lot of fun!

BTW this Milonga is toooo beautifully played - one of my absolutely fav pieces!

    TC - S-)

  • Wonderful! Thank you very much!

They are masters in the genre but, your rendition is breath taking and up to par! Brought in me a lot of emotion! Thank you, man!

  • Welcome back to the world of guitar playing. A nice refreshment piece on a sunny Sunday morning in Japan. How is your thmb ? I hope thtat we can watch elegant videos of your guitar playing soon.

  • Excellent Paul,,,555 Stars Beautiful,,,Into Me Favorites,,,,,,Peace,,,,,,,,Dean.

  • I knew you would come out into the light sooner or later :-) I would have been interested in your mush however ugly it is but anyway, very nice Milonga to listen to. Is your excellent duo partner yourself? Cheers and don't make us wait for so long next time, please (sorry if I was cheeky), respect,

    Gergely

  • Beautifully played as usual my friend..and no guiness in the picture!!!! Very pretty tune that I wasnt familiar with until now!! Keep posting and I will keep watching!!

  • I heard it dozen of times played by Jorge Cardoso himself often with other duetists. It remains me to the good old time in the chapell of the Don Bosco center in Ferrette-Ligsdorf where I was a pupil of Jorge during seven summers! Nostalgy is coming to my heart!

  • Thank you so much for listening. It means a lot to a self-taught hobbyist.

Oh to be taught by Mr Cardoso himself. You must have been very happy, yes?

    Regards,

    Paul

  • Thank you!

  • Hi Josie.

You and Sam will make a great job of this, I know you will. You have the natural rhythm, I don't. I will wait eagerly for it to appear.

    TC,

    Paul

  • Hi Paul, great to see you post again. I love this piece and it sounds very nice with the two guitars as I'm always used to hear it solo performed.

    Well done and 5 *****

    Regards,

    Vernon

  • Thanks a lot Vernon.

The stereo tracks have not quite synch'd, but it is too late now!

    Keep well sir.

    Regards,

    Paull

  • Dear Paul and Paul. You are both very good. I think though that Paul is a bit better than Paul. Maybe Paul could teach Paul some tricks...? Well, anyway... I missed the mush. Now that we have seen Sarah's pretty face, don't get started on hiding yours, OK?

    Great version by the way.!

    Per-Olov

  • Eh up Maestro.

    My mush is not hidden!!!

I am on the right, trying to teach the lady how to stop stepping on my shoes.

Tsshh...and you thought it was Antonio Banderas?

    You are forgiven. Lol.

    Cheers,

    Paul

  • Ahhh.. THERE you are! I can se you now! To be honest, I thought it was 'The Incredible Hulk'. And it was YOU! Sorry my friend. My mistake. Please forgive me. (well, you already did)

    Señor Banderas

  • You won't like me when I'm angry!!

  • Ups...

(not to rub your back Paul, but this is truly beautiful) Thank you my friend.

  • Cardoso's Milonga from Gangly---perfect start of a new day. Glad to have you back on YT, Sir!

    Tor Inge

  • Hi Tor Inge.

lovely to hear from you again.

I have a lot of catching up to do this weekend.

I will be savouring your posts v shortly.

    Hope you are well, sir.

    Regards,

    Paul

  • Greetings from South Florida, Paul. What a jewel of a piece to post for us! (And an ending so delicious it should carry a calorie count!) I do object to your harsh self-image! You're very distinguished looking. Unless you object to the Coach of the Los Angeles Lakers basketball team to whom you bear a resemblance. Phil Jackson

stands proud of his appearance (all 2+ meters of it!)

    ~Terry

  • Hi Terry.

    My dad was called Terry!

    Really pleased you like it.

I am reliably informed by our mutual friend, Julie, that I look nothing like Phil Jackson....but could I have his pay packet please?

    Cheers,

    Paul

  • Way to go Squire!! just got out a red hot bath wrapped a towel round ma waist grabbed a Lager and slapped a pair of Headphones on and listened to this lurvly Aural treat - thank you very kindly for this my friend, can understand the mood of the piece from what you have gone through - chin up Bud 5*****

    Harry

  • Eh up Harry.

    Thanks a lot mate.

Although, as a watcher, I would prefer you dressed for the occasion.

    Folks may talk.

    Lol.

    Paul

  • This is so beautiful!! well done!

  • Hi Liran.
