  • its sweet

  • if you ask me ill make it in deroma... add some lights and tight sealed space.....or aquarium... glass and add some warning signs BACK OFF OR ILL BLOW YOUR BRAINS OUT

  • A labor of love, indeed -- the detail is insane.

P.S. the head looks like the VF-1S Valkyrie

  • @segabrat If you think that looks like a VF-1S, take a look at the TV series' Mass Produced Ingram MK I. Also on a related note, the Dolphin training Labor's head reminds me quite a bit of a VF-1A.

  • I see that this was CDX's TOTY for 2009.

I also see that the USA 1st version is 65% off at HLJ.

Thanks for your review Atom. I think I'll be picking it up.

  • @pinoi78 hi, i was thinking of the blue version b/c of price. if you do own the blue version can you confirmed it comes with everything the white version. please respond asap as i want to order one within this week. thanks

  • I want one! :D

  • I bought it about 2 weeks ago and really its amazing, highly recommend it. Note its not a toy but a display model.

  • awesome. Got to have one, its ment to be.Thanks.

  • damn look at that!

  • Crotch grapples are a must, ofcourse, on giant mecha Police Force mobilesuits.

  • Because of your AWESOME review, Atom, I bought this bad boy from Hobbylink Japan...and it was on sale at 40% off! Thank you for the in depth review. I got it in my hands and it is EVERY bit as you have described. And, I am a really picky collector...plus I'm a HUGE Patlabor fan.

  • oh man, do you have the Patlabor zero? from the first movie?

  • @reck101101 yes the best!!

  • man.... i m already 24 y/o and somethings are ment to be remembered i miss this show and where the hell did you get that machine.. your one of amazing guys i see... thanks for posting

  • Undeniably the best high-end robot toy ever.

  • holy crap! this is even more detailed than a PErfect Grade!

  • This is the BEST review of this awesome figure/replica...hands DOWN! I drool like a dog looking at a piece of steak every time I watch this review! I still want one!!!

  • Holy Shit

  • 1/24 Patlabor,s arent really that tall in comparison to gundam (wich is usuale 1/144 1/100 or 1/60) HOLY CRAP THAT THING IS AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Will you be buying Ota's AV-98-2 with the shotgun? Is it just me or does it look exactly the same as the 1st? Nice review by the way... I had to buy my own Ingram after watching this!

  • Hi, Just bought mine and I think it also has the depressed neck. I tried to pull it up, but it seems to tight and I don't dare to tug it any harder...fearing I would break anything. Any ideas on how can I pull up the head?

  • I just got my 1/24 Patlabor Ingram today from Bigbadtoystore. For anyone getting one, be careful with the head as mine got stuck in one position and when I pulled to try to move it, the plastic mechanical rods that are attached to the head snapped. Some super glue later, I repaired them. Also, the freakin extra bullets are so damn small, you just sneeze on them, you lose them. Lost pretty all of mine when the robot rolled on its side as the bullets went in the floor. 4/5 stars.

  • Excellent review - its certainly made me want one real bad. Just came back from Tokyo and saw these on sale there. Got the brave gokin one instead, as i just couldnt justify the expense!

By the way - its Pat-Labor, not Patlubbur!

  • COOL! I want!

  • Well I picked mine up, and am extremely impressed with it. Reaffirms that Bandai isn't the only master at anime mech figures with DEPENDABLE Yamato around.

  • whats the song at 2:40???

    please can someone tell me

  • Gahh I have to have it! @_@ But hey Atom, I think you forgot to show off the Ingram's individual posable fingers. Also, is the riot gun offered with this model?

  • Just went over mine, and unfortunately we only get the revolver for firing weapons(although a really well done piece!)

I think they're saving that for Ota's Unit-02, him being the bullet waster...

  • omg that is huge like masterpiece optimus prime.

i thought it was a model kit but its not. that is really awesome. i am going to get him when it is my birthday. thanks for upload vid.

  • great review Atom. I'm continually surprised how impressionable I am from your reviews. I just got mine from Amazon (treasure Island Inc to be exact), and it is by far the best chogokin I own, and I do own the fewture mazinger and fewture getter 1. Keep up the great reviews!

  • The detail, thats whats make it awesome.

  • I've just got mine a few hours ago! I've been testing it out, and I noticed that the left neck pipe is kinda broken so I had to remove the left pipe........... Overall, the quality is amazing! The best mecha toy I've ever seen!

  • I've never seen the anime, so maybe this is explained...but why is the endoskeleton covered by that cloth/leather material?

  • It's not something to do with the anime but the toy itself. It covers the internal joints to give it a smoother appearance.

  • OMG... I had no idea. I'm a HUGE Patlabor fan. I NEED this figure now!!!!

Thanks for the awesome video review...

  • I brought it today for 250 Bucks! it s awsome figure!!!

  • Simply the best toy robot in the market i've ever seen. The detail of the design have blown me away. What a lucky man

  • Freakin dazzling.

  • there was a patlabour figure in a magazine and i used to look at it everyday before i went to sleep i always wanted one.

now 10 years later i have to buy this OMG this is amazing 5 stars

  • What do you expect ppl , it costs 300$ it needs to be awsome .

  • that is the coolest yamato figure i have ever seen, well worth $400.00 dollars.

  • No wonder it's $300.00 bucks!!! But he didn't show the eskeleton. I'm just going to use my $300.00 on my gas powered R.C. the best hobby. You get to compete too. Not like this, you just show it off!

  • The endoskeleton is inside (endo) the figure, it is not an exoskeleton (exo) which would be on the outside.

The only way he could have shown the endoskeleton would be to tear the thing apart.

  • god i would so be all over this in a heart beat if i hadnt just spent big bucks on SOC gunbuster and SOC baikanfu.

  • DAMN!

    what an awesome robot

i practically fell asleep because the relaxing music

  • In silk o_o

  • Its very nice looking model,I never really watched the show or any of the movies.

  • IT BROUGHT TEARS TO MY EYES

that is the most beautiful model i have ever seen

  • why does the giant robot have a revolver

  • Cause it's cool AND it is a POLICE robot after all. ;p

  • Because police officers carry revolvers. :p

  • *Glomps the Mobile Police Patlabor *

    ^_^;

  • Awesome sauce! What is the name of that song anyway?

  • oh my fucking god

    that is just...

    glorious

  • Oh my... Silk !!

    SILK !!!!!

  • oooooh myyyy goddddddd! i have seen pix before and even a review or two but this just blows my mind!

  • that loosk amazing !

  • Wow, that is probably the best Patlabor i've ever seen. I bet it's extremely expensive.

  • about 180 GBP as of 17/07/09

  • about 400$ u.s. was the lowest price i could find on ebay

  • I have to have one!

  • Amazing stuff.

  • Isunova Pi, i think...

  • Please hold as I pick up my jaw from the floor.

I have to say, I'm glad there are reviewers like you guys from collectiondx who are still able to give an unbiased review, given the fact that some of the items you have are given free or at a discount.

  • That's off the chart!! Amazing!

OK the priece is nutz, but after seeing this review it looks like I need to find me some cash! :(

  • in what movie did this appear?

  • That looks so awesome. Very much want.

  • Toy Porn at it's finest!

  • Do want. Can not afford shiiiiet right now though, cry

  • Wut.

  • Simply amazing. The level of detail and articulation...My mind has officially been blown. If only other mecha could get this 5 star treatment.

  • No kidding!

  • gotta have it O.O!

  • Year 1995 I bought this figure but mine is much smaller than yours. Even mine is so small bt great figure since it's metal body frame inside.
