if you ask me ill make it in deroma... add some lights and tight sealed space.....or aquarium... glass and add some warning signs BACK OFF OR ILL BLOW YOUR BRAINS OUT
@segabrat If you think that looks like a VF-1S, take a look at the TV series' Mass Produced Ingram MK I. Also on a related note, the Dolphin training Labor's head reminds me quite a bit of a VF-1A.
@pinoi78 hi, i was thinking of the blue version b/c of price. if you do own the blue version can you confirmed it comes with everything the white version. please respond asap as i want to order one within this week. thanks
Because of your AWESOME review, Atom, I bought this bad boy from Hobbylink Japan...and it was on sale at 40% off! Thank you for the in depth review. I got it in my hands and it is EVERY bit as you have described. And, I am a really picky collector...plus I'm a HUGE Patlabor fan.
man.... i m already 24 y/o and somethings are ment to be remembered i miss this show and where the hell did you get that machine.. your one of amazing guys i see... thanks for posting
This is the BEST review of this awesome figure/replica...hands DOWN! I drool like a dog looking at a piece of steak every time I watch this review! I still want one!!!
Will you be buying Ota's AV-98-2 with the shotgun? Is it just me or does it look exactly the same as the 1st? Nice review by the way... I had to buy my own Ingram after watching this!
Hi, Just bought mine and I think it also has the depressed neck. I tried to pull it up, but it seems to tight and I don't dare to tug it any harder...fearing I would break anything. Any ideas on how can I pull up the head?
I just got my 1/24 Patlabor Ingram today from Bigbadtoystore. For anyone getting one, be careful with the head as mine got stuck in one position and when I pulled to try to move it, the plastic mechanical rods that are attached to the head snapped. Some super glue later, I repaired them. Also, the freakin extra bullets are so damn small, you just sneeze on them, you lose them. Lost pretty all of mine when the robot rolled on its side as the bullets went in the floor. 4/5 stars.
Excellent review - its certainly made me want one real bad. Just came back from Tokyo and saw these on sale there. Got the brave gokin one instead, as i just couldnt justify the expense!
Well I picked mine up, and am extremely impressed with it. Reaffirms that Bandai isn't the only master at anime mech figures with DEPENDABLE Yamato around.
Gahh I have to have it! @_@ But hey Atom, I think you forgot to show off the Ingram's individual posable fingers. Also, is the riot gun offered with this model?
great review Atom. I'm continually surprised how impressionable I am from your reviews. I just got mine from Amazon (treasure Island Inc to be exact), and it is by far the best chogokin I own, and I do own the fewture mazinger and fewture getter 1. Keep up the great reviews!
i really like your review on this toy PATLABOR. Can you also give a review on the "PATLABOR SPECIAL SET" the one with LED lights w/c actually lights up... thanks!!! REP+UP!!!
I've just got mine a few hours ago! I've been testing it out, and I noticed that the left neck pipe is kinda broken so I had to remove the left pipe........... Overall, the quality is amazing! The best mecha toy I've ever seen!
No wonder it's $300.00 bucks!!! But he didn't show the eskeleton. I'm just going to use my $300.00 on my gas powered R.C. the best hobby. You get to compete too. Not like this, you just show it off!
I have to say, I'm glad there are reviewers like you guys from collectiondx who are still able to give an unbiased review, given the fact that some of the items you have are given free or at a discount.
wow that really is one of the best figures i have ever seen! very awesome accessories, sculpt, articulation, and its even die cast! and for $250 dollars, by the looks of it id say thats really worth it!

A labor of love, indeed -- the detail is insane.
P.S. the head looks like the VF-1S Valkyrie

I see that this was CDX's TOTY for 2009.
I also see that the USA 1st version is 65% off at HLJ.
Thanks for your review Atom. I think I'll be picking it up.

Just went over mine, and unfortunately we only get the revolver for firing weapons(although a really well done piece!)
I think they're saving that for Ota's Unit-02, him being the bullet waster...

omg that is huge like masterpiece optimus prime.
i thought it was a model kit but its not. that is really awesome. i am going to get him when it is my birthday. thanks for upload vid.

I've never seen the anime, so maybe this is explained...but why is the endoskeleton covered by that cloth/leather material?
blammers 2 years ago
It's not something to do with the anime but the toy itself. It covers the internal joints to give it a smoother appearance.

The endoskeleton is inside (endo) the figure, it is not an exoskeleton (exo) which would be on the outside.
The only way he could have shown the endoskeleton would be to tear the thing apart.
