I used to think she was a crappy actress, but then I saw her in "Why did I get married too?" And she just blew me away. Seeing her in that movie made me want to watch "For colored girls" and she yet again blew me away. Now I'm a huge fan of everything of hers, and even bought her new book which is completely amazing. It pains when a hear people complain about this movie (i hvnt seen it yet) because the cast if full of black people, and about how the movie is degrading to black people im a black young women and i dnt feel there is nothing wrong the movie, in fact im glad to see that tyler perry is given black actors and actresses a chance to express their talent on the big screen besides this movies show insight into reality that some people actually live like this

This movie was Phenominal..I found myself on such an emotional rollercoaster.I was astonihed when I realized that men were actually reduced to tears in the theater and not ashamed to show emotion,If anyone(male or female) could not see some resemblance of themselves in at least one of these characters they in my opinion has to be out of touch with reality.This is a movie that should be seen by all races and gender.Don't let the title fool you..
