Hey man hows it goin? I am building my first Ar meaning first built and first ever owned and was wondering who makes the best receivers. Was looking at DPMS, Rock River and Daniel Defense just wondering which is the best or are they all created equal. Was also wondering if you have say a rock river lower can you put on a dpms upper or do people generaly stick with all one companies parts or mix and match. Am wanting to build an m4 style. If you buy an M4 upper you will need to buy a barrel with a M4 barrel extension. If you buy an A3 flat top upper you can use either an A3 or a M4 barrel extension. You just buy from a reputable store and ask for what you want.

I have been obsessing latley on M4 feed ramps and your right not to much info on here about them.

Be sure to tape up that lower when you assemble it. The tape saved me more than once on my current lower build.

My DPMS lower parts kit didnt come in the nice package either. Just a bag O' parts. More videos on buid would be cool.

Even the feed ramps dremmeled out won't help with the Sig mags failures that I experienced though, Mine got caught on the sharp point in the middle, Sig mags are notorious for failures, and almost cause total destruction of my rifle. That had never happened with my AR15 on any other mag besides Sig. I am getting mag pull mags next. I say F#CK SIG FROM NOW ON! I'M THROUGH WITH THEIR JUNK!
