Backes lost the fight but I'd still love to see him on the Wild centering the 2nd line. He'd be a hell of an upgrade over crappy Cullen. Big physical guy who can score goals and isn't afraid to drop the gloves. Being from Minnesota is just an added bonus. Top 2 lines of:

Remember he was good at the beginning last year too but then tapered off. Now we need Heater and Koivu to start heating up. No pun intended. Most Canadian players have been humbled infront of family and friends, playing junior hockey. American players who go the high school university route never get beat up, they just learn to talk and talk. That is why many of the most out spoken players are americans.
