  • @taylorjohson

Just a single season of 13 episodes and yep, it was shown in repeats later on, on the USA Network's Cartoon and elsewhere. :)

According to wikipedia, it's broadcast history is:

    September 12, 1981-September 4, 1982 - CBS

    1985-1991 - USA Cartoon Express

    1992-2001 - Cartoon Network

    2000-Present - Boomerang (On occasions)

  • man I miss Saturday morning cartoons.

  • OMG!!!! This was one of my fav cartoons when I was a kid!:) where can you find full episodes?

  • Hey muttley 16, will you ever find some full episodes of the show and post them on so that we can all see and enjoy them?

  • Fue una caricatura muy divertida, lastima que no haya mucho de ellos. Gracias por las memorias.

  • I don't know his name, but the voice actor for Frankie (previous season's Drak Pak), did the voice of one of the troll choppers (bikers). Speaking of Dukes of Hazzard, the speaker in the theme sounds like Rick Hurst. He played Cleatus Hogg, on the Dukes.

  • Hey muttley16, do you have the credits for this show?

  • @Rtkat3 ....yes i do.

  • @muttley16 Can you have them added? No one else has added the credits to this show on this website.

  • @muttley16 Any chance you can have the credits added to this website?

  • I wish they'd come out with the complete series on DVD. Loved this show as a kid. Also, I'm looking for the Dukes of Hazzard cartoon on DVD.

  • Take some Hillbilly, add a touch of wonder, and you've got Trollkins!

  • more than 15 years waiting to see it again thanks for upload it

    i'm from Mexico now i'm 30y/o

  • Uuuyyyy!!!

  • Never got onto this one but remember it.

  • They made Hill Billy Banjo playing seem so freaking cool, now ya'll come on back here,ya hear!!

  • hehe well I used to watch this on USA Cartoon Express & its STILL redneckish LMAO

  • Ah man, it's been ages since I've seen this.

  • Loved this in my teens. I was a big fan of Dukes of Hazzard too so that's natural. Wish I could revisit this and have the whole series. Probably won't happen. :(

  • The first time my friend and I took LSD a long time ago this show came on TV. This cartoon was made by and for people on drugs. When that bearded dude said "Dern those Episcopalians, er ..................Pesky Aliens". We rolled on the floor laughing hysterically for about 10 minutes. Wish I could rent the Trollkins somewhere. Funny little buggers.

  • Someone finally found it, the thought I was crazy when I told other about the smurfs redneck cousins. Now they have to believe me, lol.

  • I would love to see more footage of this animation but I can't find any on the net. If any one has any info please message me.

I know it premiered on CBS 1981 -82, then rebroadcast on CAR 1993-94, then again on BOOM June-Dec 2002.

  • Wow hillbilly trolls! What will they think up next!

  • Ahh, another underated Hanna Barbera tv show. I miss these shows.

  • I knew this show existed! My friends don't believe me when I tell them it used to come on tv. Thanks for putting this on.

  • I heard Mel Blanc did voice work for this series. Too bad no one has uploaded the credits for this series.

  • Aired in Brazil in 1984.

  • @eh777 It used to scare the hell out of the kids over here :)

  • That Friggin Police Siren always cracked me up in the theme song

  • Smurfs + Dukes of Hazzard = Trollkins!

  • J.R.R. Trollkin.

  • This show and Kwicky Koala were cute. They were among the last cartoons I ended up watching. In December 1981, this was moved to Saturdays at 12:00 noon and Kwicky Koala was moved to 1:00 p.m. but a lot of times our local affiliate pre-empted them for bowling!

  • @kentgraovac Same here i remember it being on at 12 noon, often the programs that followed from 12:30 on ward were pre-empted here

  • Mayor Lumpkin was indeed The Man... loved how he always switched around words... like "I'm gonna go get the Gned Home, I mean Head Gnome!"

  • MAYOR LUMPKIN WAS DA MAN

  • Comment removed

  • Will Boomerang ever air this? It's time to retire the Smurfs and Snorks for a while and show some Trollkins!

  • I also want to see the What's A Nice Gril Likec You Doing In A Place Like This special and that cartoon with the navajo bears.

  • you must mean the Paw Paw Bears... not the Navajo Bears!

  • I love it!!!

  • Omg I can't belive you found this I use to watch it ok So I have a challage for you there was this cartoon around the same time it was all cars and they all talked excecpt for the main car He was Red and there was Motor Bikes I think the red cars name was Herbie but that wasn't the name of the show I don't think if anyone knows drop me a line thanks

  • Wheelie & The Chopper Bunch

  • Yeah, the Trollchoppers were definitely inspired by The Chopper Bunch from Wheelie And The Chopper Bunch!!

  • Here's the real challenge can you find an episode or episodes of this show?

  • I remember this cartoon from the early 80s. I always liked the way the troll-dog talked; 'Troll-loooo!'

  • Aired on CBS in 1981.

  • The graphic styling is so different from other H-B cartoons. It almost calls to mind some of the DePatie-Freleng series like The Houndcats, The Barkleys, The Oddball Couple, etc...

  • Hoot Kloot.

  • i always remembered this cartoon from a long time ago. there was a two parter and i never got to see the second half. i've been thinking about this shit for 25 years.

  • seems like i'm the old one here, ya'll remember this from usa cartoon express.i used to watch this on saturday morning's about 26 years ago,it was my favorite back then.bless the internet.

  • Man this makes me feel happy and old at the same time. I used to love this show.

  • I used to watch them on the USA cartoon Express..love this cartoon and thanks for sharing!!!

  • voices of Steve Spears as Blitz Jennifer Darling as Pixilee and Deputroll Dolly Durkle Alan Oppenheimer as Sheriff Pudge Trollsom Paul Winchell as Layor Mumpkin...I mean Mayor Lumpkin Frank Welker as Flookey and Bog Marshall Efron as Deputroll Flake Hank Saroyan as Afid Bill Callaway as Slug Michael Bell as Grubb Trollmaine "Dukes of Hazzard" crossed with "The Smurfs"...cute.

  • classic

  • This is the first time I've ever seen this!

  • finnaly someone found this lol...sweet it used to come on Sundays USA Cartoon Express

  • That's where I remember it from. :-)

  • I always thought from the title that this was some kind of tie-in to the Norfin Troll dolls. I was wrong...

  • Whoa...now that caused a major flashback.

  • Been Lookin For This One For A While...Thanx Infinities...

  • muttley16: Do you have the opening to the Hanna-Barbera cartoon that came on before Trollkins on CBS Saturday mornings in 1981 called "The Kwicky Koala Show"?

  • Oh yeah. That show brings back memories. :) It's almost like a hillbilly version of the Smurfs.
