the gauntlets used in dmc1 named ifrit if im carrect...(of pulled the name from somewhere ells by misteack) only had fists so i really think the beowolf gauntlets in dmc3 where a huge upgrade. my fav weapon in the game. sadly in dmc2 there where no other weapon other then swords with the small change to there shape there where no othere weapons. it was the same way with the girl there to. sorry if i bored you with my opinions/answer

Then there's other games on my PS3 that just make you forget about DMC4 period: GOW3, Heavenly Sword, NGS, NGS2. Even the new Castlevania will likely eat DMC4 alive. The DMC franchise hasn't had the top spot in years.
Don't really care about the story. DMC4 sucked for a # of other reasons. All of the enemy kill moves and in-game bloodf from the 1st game are gone or replaced with goo. Then there's the de-evolution of Dante. Since the 3rd game the cutscenes make him look dumber and dumber. I remember him dancing in the street with a rose..smh. It's like they forgot how the feeling of the 1st game was. There isn't even any underwater combat anymore. I got it in Feb 08, and didn't want to finish it.
I think Devil May Cry 5 should include Sparda, Vergil, Dante, Nero, and Nero's child. Yes, "Nero's child" is a fanfic/OC that I just made up but it would nonetheless be fitting to the title of Devil May Cry 5 since there will be 5 ppl with the blood of sparda. When reading the novels and following the storylines, Vergil is on a mission to follow the exact footsteps of Sparda, I believe there's no reason to make a prequel if we just have Vergil replicate Sparda's past and compare and contrast.

Just so you guys know, I read an article which talked about a new Devil May cry Director whose from an England video game company and he's become interested in the Devil May cry series and may consider making a brand new game. I dont necessarily have the article on hand but there's some luck as to if we'll be seeing a Devil May cry 5 or not. Resident Evil released a 5th installment so shouldn't Devil May cry get a 5th installment? Hopefully it doesnt suck like DMC2
I completely agree with you, MBWrestler87! I too have been waiting to see when they are going to finally explain the story behind sparda and his rebellion aganist the demons. The 5th DMC is a perfect opportunity to explain the story from the very beginning...since they've already messed with the timeline that is.
I think you'll play as Nero in the next game. And I believe it would set up after DMC2. In that game they would tie some of the leads, tell where Nero is from and stuff + maybe mix things with Vergil. Then the game with alot of stuff 'bout Sparda and then the finale of DMC.
Thoughts on the new Final Fantasy XIII? Also Metal Gear Solid is awesome altho I do agree with fucking up storylines halfway through. MGS3 was very good and smart how they linked it into Guns of the Patriots. Also why the fuck should we get PSPs just to play the Big Boss storylines?
I like your idea about the DMC 5, it makes perfect sense. Hopefully they release the game within the next 2 years. And about Resident Evil, what's your favorite Resident Evil MB? Resident Evil 5 for me it was a pretty damn good game but my favorite is Resident Evil 4. That Game was great in my opinion. I like the storyline of the game a lot, the gameplay, the bosses, i mean everything of RE 4 was awesome.
I'd rather see either a game in between parts 1 and 2 with a return of Mundus (hell, this could just be a sequel to part 2, I guess). I've always wanted to see a final battle between Dante and his own father, but I'm grasping at straws with that one.
and just like Elm Street's remake did with Krueger, I'd rather have a less jokey Dante like in the original.

There won't be another DMC game for a long time. I think the deveolper(don't know his name) will just stick with Bayonetta. I think i remember a DMC game was gonna be made for the PSP. But that got cancelled.
I hope they make a movie out of Devil may cry. But since most of the game adopted movies have be terrible don't think it would be more than a big budgeted popcorn action movie(which i have no problem with except that the story is so good that it should much more than that). It's my fav series besides Smackdown.

the gauntlets used in dmc1 named ifrit if im carrect...(of pulled the name from somewhere ells by misteack) only had fists so i really think the beowolf gauntlets in dmc3 where a huge upgrade. my fav weapon in the game. sadly in dmc2 there where no other weapon other then swords with the small change to there shape there where no othere weapons. it was the same way with the girl there to. sorry if i bored you with my opinions/answer

ok DMC2's camera wasnt bad i never had a prob with it and DMC3 is the best between all of other DMC games it wasnt easy it was more like Challenging 2many bosses i think the hardest mode was Dante Must Die if u didnt kill demons fast they will just get like 10x more power all of its weapons r great bosses were fun and u get 2 play with sparda's look after u finish everything with Dante theres still his bro vergil its just the best PS2 game ever DMC5 is about sparda btw...uhh i guess?

like the ideas, personally i think there should be two games in it "spardas legacy" or something like that where you learn of spardas story but also i think virgil should return in the second game within nero's arm and somehow gets resurected, since nero could weild yamato and sounded a damn lot like vergil when he said "give me more power" i think that would be a great end to the series but also yeah would be good to know what happened to everyone after number 2 :) cant wait for DMC5

Then there's other games on my PS3 that just make you forget about DMC4 period: GOW3, Heavenly Sword, NGS, NGS2. Even the new Castlevania will likely eat DMC4 alive. The DMC franchise hasn't had the top spot in years.

Don't really care about the story. DMC4 sucked for a # of other reasons. All of the enemy kill moves and in-game bloodf from the 1st game are gone or replaced with goo. Then there's the de-evolution of Dante. Since the 3rd game the cutscenes make him look dumber and dumber. I remember him dancing in the street with a rose..smh. It's like they forgot how the feeling of the 1st game was. There isn't even any underwater combat anymore. I got it in Feb 08, and didn't want to finish it.

I think Devil May Cry 5 should include Sparda, Vergil, Dante, Nero, and Nero's child. Yes, "Nero's child" is a fanfic/OC that I just made up but it would nonetheless be fitting to the title of Devil May Cry 5 since there will be 5 ppl with the blood of sparda. When reading the novels and following the storylines, Vergil is on a mission to follow the exact footsteps of Sparda, I believe there's no reason to make a prequel if we just have Vergil replicate Sparda's past and compare and contrast.

@SilverMoon1134 Good idea! weapon customization would make weapons a lot more fun to use. i also thought of another idea what do you think about Dual wielding weapons. for example: 2 hand guns or you can mix it up a hand gun in one hand and a sawn off shot gun in another :) that would be pretty fun i think ^^

Assassins creed 2 :), God of war 3, Final fantasy (any ff really) Persona 3 FES, Tekken 1-6 :) (im a huge tekken fan) bloody roar 3 (i used to love that game) OH, and i dunno if you like ps classics, in my opinion the BEST classic RPG Legend of legaia, not part 2 cuz it sucks. i Highly recommend you buy L.O.L (lol) its EPIC!!! and my all time fave RPG :) kinda rare to find but look for it! ^^ its AWESOME!!! :s

Just so you guys know, I read an article which talked about a new Devil May cry Director whose from an England video game company and he's become interested in the Devil May cry series and may consider making a brand new game. I dont necessarily have the article on hand but there's some luck as to if we'll be seeing a Devil May cry 5 or not. Resident Evil released a 5th installment so shouldn't Devil May cry get a 5th installment? Hopefully it doesnt suck like DMC2

I completely agree with you, MBWrestler87! I too have been waiting to see when they are going to finally explain the story behind sparda and his rebellion aganist the demons. The 5th DMC is a perfect opportunity to explain the story from the very beginning...since they've already messed with the timeline that is.

I think you'll play as Nero in the next game. And I believe it would set up after DMC2. In that game they would tie some of the leads, tell where Nero is from and stuff + maybe mix things with Vergil. Then the game with alot of stuff 'bout Sparda and then the finale of DMC.

Thoughts on the new Final Fantasy XIII? Also Metal Gear Solid is awesome altho I do agree with fucking up storylines halfway through. MGS3 was very good and smart how they linked it into Guns of the Patriots. Also why the fuck should we get PSPs just to play the Big Boss storylines?

I like your idea about the DMC 5, it makes perfect sense. Hopefully they release the game within the next 2 years. And about Resident Evil, what's your favorite Resident Evil MB? Resident Evil 5 for me it was a pretty damn good game but my favorite is Resident Evil 4. That Game was great in my opinion. I like the storyline of the game a lot, the gameplay, the bosses, i mean everything of RE 4 was awesome.

I'd rather see either a game in between parts 1 and 2 with a return of Mundus (hell, this could just be a sequel to part 2, I guess). I've always wanted to see a final battle between Dante and his own father, but I'm grasping at straws with that one.
and just like Elm Street's remake did with Krueger, I'd rather have a less jokey Dante like in the original.

I think you have a great idea about the Sparda prequel.
I also think for another idea for 5 should be the sequel to 2. Maybe Vergil and Dante in hell ? Vergil resurrecting Sparda and somehow having control over him ? Or maybe Neros Devil Bringer turning him into more of a demon?
But if its a sequel to 2, Dante shouldnt be as angsty, maybe more like he was in 4 or even 3. Just an idea,

I hope they make a movie out of Devil may cry. But since most of the game adopted movies have be terrible don't think it would be more than a big budgeted popcorn action movie(which i have no problem with except that the story is so good that it should much more than that). It's my fav series besides Smackdown.
