@rlscrst1970 I was told it was either a student driver with an instructor, or a new driver with a trainer. Either way the instructor/trainer was asleep in the sleeper when this crash took place and they did not make it.
Yes, it is true that pakis shit and piss through a hole they cut in the floor. I work at a Freightliner dealership and have come across this multiple times.....

OMG! I admire the way you quick reaction to his mishap: you were observing speed limit, slowdown even further, quick view to your left, smoothly pulled over. I hope your truck came out fine/didn't had a lot headaches with insurance, etc
@JAIMEPORTALES lol, i didn't say that they were stupid. they just can't drive for shit. an Asian and a big rig is not a good combination. loosen up dude and have a laugh.
@562XXXXX You would be suprised how many CMV drivers can actually drive better than those little 4 wheeler drivers. I know there are still some bad apples out there who make mistakes, and puts a bad rep on truck drivers, but there are still alot of good drivers out there too.
@cutting123454321 Actually from what I heard, you can forget about the broken bones. The driver and instructor did not walk away from that crash. the instructor was asleep in the sleeper when that crash took place.
Ok here is my guess. His breaks did not go out. In a truck if lose air your breaks will lock and there not locked. If you overheat your brakes they will smoke and sometimes catch fire. I do not see any smoke coming from the brakes. It looks to me like the driver was just driving to fast. Mabey roadrage or just plain foolish. Of course this all just an educated guess. Only the driver knows what really happend. If he is alive that is.
since he didnt slow down at all he shouldnt have braked at all, that tipped him over, 2 times that almost happened too mee, so i know its not so easy too do not panic, i was lucky and didnt panic. i was driving behind one another truckdriver one nignt, that happened too him. but he survived without damage, the truck was a wreck and the rescue took 15 hours
Looks like he jerked it around the apex of the curve instead of easing it around. I almost wiped out in my first car when a 90 degree snuck up on me. The only reason I saved it was I eased around as smoothly as I could and got away just with some squealing rubber. If I had panicked and jerked it around it would have been a ride through the weeds.
i drive a truck and if you actually drove one you would learn to look you never see skid marks til the wheel grabs the pavement and he is about 6 to 12 inchs from the ground yet his breaklights came on that was both driver and break failure.. the idiot tryed to hotrod the rig and the breaks over loaded and probley broke when he slammed them after he realized he was going to fast.. THAT IS A MORON!
you dumbasses he probably lost his brakes happens sometimes on downhill grades with rookie drivers or perhaps mechanical failures. He "load shifted" WTF does that even mean?
He wasnt going down a hill . It was a long curve , Even if his brakes where out he could of use the engine brake and let the foot of the gas . That simple . Load Shift is when the load ( merchandise ) is not secure and could moves the direction of the trailer is going . Barrels of liquid , big rolls of paper , metals , uneven weight of pallets , and overweight can cause this .

As you so perfectly put it: SLOW DOWN! Some wise dude once said to me: you can go too slow a million times, but you'll go to fast only once...

hell the was some good driving though it...most people would slam on the brakes and stop before but hell you keep on going..good drivin bub

as a truck driver he should slown before the curve then throttle . my bets he was loaded and load shifted
FELIPELORA05 2 years ago
agreed, its like in the cdl book about getting into the right gear, and explains that your trailer, if loaded, will tip if you are not careful.
