  • Blank Flanks!

  • The Cutie Mark Crusaders brought me here.... :-/

  • :DDDDDD this son is awesome, the punk old days

  • Oh god he is so awesome ♥

  • Nihilism at its worst, great song though.

  • The Voidoids playing CBGBs, looks around '75 or '76. Nihilist undercurrent of punk" Johnny Thunders, Richard Hell, all those guys.

  • haha an early incarnation of GG Allin at 2:30 ?????

  • never heard of this guy b4, but he is safe

  • gimme some blankness and turn up the volume kids

    not alright

    loud or lame

  • why is this so fucking quiet?

  • @IAMOHSOGREAT here here

& there's nothing "brilliant" about cutting off Hell's epic song and allowing some lass to mouth it up, when that's for AFTER the song, & after a blowjob/cunnilinnnngling

  • @JTerrible63 wtf?

  • Check out "Dis Moi" by BB Brunes, its apauling

  • of course thats not to say that really the punk movement didnt have its birth at country bluegrass and blues and other music from the underground.

  • And there we go guys .. punk!

  • May i just say guys .. that punk was started in new york under the CBGB's club ... ramones/patti smith stuff which was 1975 and onwards ... and then the sex pistols got inspired to create the same punk in london, 1976 ... also stooges and mc5 where before even the CBGB's club and where living and being successful as groups in Detroit

But New York/Detroit punk was way before London 'Sex Pistols' punk

But I could be wrong :)

  • well... if you let me just complete with lou reed, velvet & nico, new york dolls, television, richard hell, dead boys and such... there's punk as we know it!

  • actually rocket from the tombs was even before any of those. and from cleveland ohio. dead boys came from rocket from the tombs. (to keep it in perspective) so literally punk was born in cleveland ohio.

  • Thanks .. now we have finally cleared that one up ..

  • yeah alot of the great punk songs we all know and love come from rocket from the tombs, sonic reducer, aint it fun, life stinks, and search and destroy are originally rocket tunes.

  • Not Search and Destroy, that was Iggy & The Stooges.

  • not originally. remake. awesome remake.

  • Are you serious? You mean The Stooges remade a RFTT-song? Do you know where I can find the original version, then?

  • . you know RFTT wasnt exactly a studio band but it should be easy enough to find a copy of the "day the earth met rocket from the tombs." or if not easy enough then definetely worth it.

  • Will check it out, thank you very much. it's strange, cause I never came across the RFTT name while reading about The Stooges. I know the name, but not that they wrote Search & Destroy.

  • I looked it all up, and the RFTT didn't wrote these songs. When Iggy and Williamson played those songs the RFTT wasn't even formed. Do you believe yourself?

  • do you beleive yourself? strange comment. do you beleive yourself?

  • Reint25, tell them brother

These punks know squat except squatting LOL

  • Rim his ass some more LOL

This Voidoid was a band of oldsters at a time of youth LOL

  • punk was started in both cities at the same time because of the shit that was going on in both cities. but you can see the difference between the english and newyorkers punk

  • the UK was a big Fuck you and New york was like i need to fucking escape before i go craxy

  • punk is from uranus

  • punk is from everywhere people not just england not just the us punk came from 50s rock and roll they got the idea from it

  • Punk is from NY

  • punk is from england, new york was proto shit

  • IMO, Johnny Thunders blew all of them away, England, NY and every other in between.

  • ... but this sounds awesome to me!

  • Both the Pistols and the Clash freely admitted being directly inspired by the Ramones.

  • Quine = Legend

  • i belong to the BORING generation.

  • @blechtman you probably do.

  • i fucking love richard hell and the voidoids

  • under-rated artist i love richard hell and the voidiods :) and im living in blank generation so i can relate to this song so much

  • I used to see these guys in the village. What the fuck was the name of the bar? I remember that they would not sell pitchers case they said that that they made good weapons.

  • Do you mean the CBGB's (club)?

  • Helen put that very well! Richard you had a great gig for to short of a time. You still owe me twenty dollars, lol. Great song and great days!

  • i really lov this song its so classic punk

  • I can't hear 'em.

  • It's Helen Wheels you idiot, she was a great person and cool as hell, She was the leather queen.

  • I'm so glad a friend of mine pointed this out to me. I'm such a huge Richard Hell fan, if you can't tell by my name, lol. I like what that chick has to say, very poetic and very true.

  • Richie doesn't have nearly enough fans unfortunately! I've been dubbed "Mrs. Richard Hell" by my friends, and I don't mind at all hehe. Richie is ... amazing in every way.

  • I believe it was some friends of mine that started using my now infamous nickname because I was pretty much the only Richard Hell fan they knew. Most people know me as Brenna Hell anymore cuz that's all I ever use online.

  • Hehehe ... that sounds just like me. My online friends though were either Hell fans before me, or I have since converted them to the Cult of Hell.

People call me Mrs Hell or Mme Hell because it's my artistic nom de plume/online alias, to the point that my stage name in my band is Mrs Hell

  • I commented on your channel btw

  • Robert Quine! RIP, guitar monster.

  • thanks a lot. i'm dying for more Hell on youtubes. but why is the level so low? it is right? i have my shit cranked up, bad signal-to-noise.

    The heartbeat.

    Yah.
