My bad hit that button prematurely, is diving locked out to certain boot camp year groups is? I'll be hitting my 4 year mark soon but obliserving to meet contract requirements(HM) but almost as soon as I check in ill be dropping my DMT package.

So, I've never scuba dived before but i've always wanted to be a Diver. My only concern is putting on the regulator underwater, I don't see how it works lol. Do we get training in this before "pool week" and when is pool week?

@BBurris10 Im pretty sure they are going to train you like you dont know anything so yeah Im pretty sure they will show you how its done

@BBurris10- Of course they will teach you. Its not a learn at your own experience.Everyone must pay attention to the teacher. If your a dumbass and don't anything or if your the guy that made the damn thing they still teach you. Good luck! :)

I understand what we are has nothing to do in this career, but people in these video and others that i saw isn't too much asian. I'm not saying asian aren't strong enough, but is navy diver isn't suitable for asian? hope anyone can help me out, thx

@FreedomRiding wow awesome...would you recommend this to any one who just isint always in the water or any where near it, but just straight out loves physical workouts and activities? how hard was it for you? just snooping in your page since i read that you surf. it seems like a huge lifestyle gap from inner cities to coastal living. hope you understand the concept im trying to figure out, you guys are awesome!! and honestly i want to see the best part of the world :)

As far as experience with scuba gear and diving is that a must have before you join this particular rating or is getting accepted solely based on ur physical exam and asvab score before hand?
