Lancaster has long been a "dumping site" in many regards. I wish the victims in this case a through recovery, (if possible) and much luck in the litigation process.
the planets fucked get real its too late fuck the future use as much shit as u like we must have economic growth ,why let the chinese have it all fuck em
Southern California is a TOILET, and and the Antelope Valley is a pimple on it's ass (if a toilet could HAVE an ass LOL). Used to live there. They tried the fascist approach to business (using gov't money for business purposes....govt money got the old valley center costco in, now it's closed LOL), my daughter was always hitting the inhaler, mindless shit like graffiti and party fights, race riots at Lancaster High...ha ha ha, nowhere near it now. Enjoy your California Dream.UR2dumb2LEAVE
I somewhat agree.I used to live in Lancaster,CA too(I moved away)but I usually remember the good things about it(like the art museum).Lancaster wasn't all that bad.Sure I got real pissed with all the damn construction on my way to school(always making me late)and thinking"If I ever come back here someday,I won't even recognize it because the desert will be covered by buildings."I like where I moved to better though it's overall better.I only miss Lancaster because of my friends and family there.
The S & T Company was licensed to haul waste; residents did not know that the company was storing toxic chemicals on the property. People were living there, they didn't move there to get poisoned on purpose. That simply doesn't make sense! You are blaming the residents, when it is the S & T company owner who should be held responsible. This is just sick.
Where that company was located nobody was living anywhere close to there. It was all businesses and motels located on sierra highway, so if people were getting sick and injured just working close to it for 5 days a week, imagine if they did live close to it...
why the hell is there so much land in Lancaster? People obviously think its a dump or else they wouldnt be using it as a dump. I feel for the people who went through this issue but they also shouldnt be living in the middle of nowhere next to hazardous waste lands in the first place. Lancaster really needs to build and grow and really become a civilized city, I guess thats asking too much.
