  • You seem to know a lot about hair dying. I have natural dark brown hair and mixed Garnier Nutrisse Intense Reds R1 and R2 with horrible resluts. My most of my hair didn't take. A lady at Sally's said since it is a Perminant dye i can't do much about it. My hair is course and sorta damanged now but I want to correct it to a even deep burgundy/red. Advise? You can check my chanel for the hair color video to see. ty.

  • i hope you see this but is there anyway i can get abpucture of your hair in this video...i want my hair cut just like this.....thanks

  • You should dye your hair all black, you look really pretty with black hair c:

  • Your husband?? omg, here I am thinking you are 16 or something... :oooo

  • Wow your skin and eyes are so beautiful.

  • Oh wow. When you came back with the new hair color the first thing I said was "CUTE!" Good job. :3

  • SHE IS NOT ON THE PAGE SO YOU STUPID PEOPLE CAN TALK ABOUT HER WEIGHT, LEAVE HER ALONE!

  • you are my new fav make up guru. I'm sooooooo glad i found you <3

  • windex works too for removing dye from the skin and scalp, i just found this out last week because i went purple and it was horrible on my scalp :( but windex and a q-tip worked great!!

thanks for the tip with the plastic bag and hair dryer, i'm going to try that out when i touch up my color :)

  • Beautiful hair color. Love the vid.

  • your eyes are like BAM! :D like the hairrr.

  • I have a question, and i don't know if you would know, but I see you dye ur hair so many pretty colors and I just double processed my hair and it turned into a light yellowish color and I used splat lusty lavender, it is sticking really well, except to my roots.....part of my roots like on one side of my head are purple but the other side of my head has blondish yellow roots, what should I do. what happened. i need help

  • I've hears lemon juice is a good choice over the alcohol when trying to remove hair dye on skin. If I try it soon I'll let you know :)

  • @dannys2222 asshole much? Maybe you should spend a little money on getting a nicer personality you ass. She's fine the way she is! Not everyone has to be a freaking toothpick, there is nothing wrong with her. So how about you stop with the rude ass comments.

Excuse me to everyone else that didn't appreciate my language, this just really pissed me off.

Cora, you're awesome by the way <3 :)

  • @sailorlove45601 Who says losing weight means you are going to be a toothpick?

I actually agree with that person at some point. Shes over weight. It not muscle, its fat.

She should exercise just a little, to lose some before it gets worse then it already is. But at the same time she can still look cute! Im not trying to be rude, but its the truth. Yes she is fine the way she is, personality wise, but health wise not so much. Again, im not trying to be rude.

  • @Astreification How do you know she doesnt exercise??? SHe could be hitting the gym everyday eating rite and still be overweight, how do you know about her health, are you her personal physician??? Ya'll watch this to comment on her weight? Talk about her damn hair, you ppl take life to seriously...AND furthermore...who cares what you ppl think?

  • @jesse2118 Calm the fuck down dude. 0_0

You're butthurt and I wasnt even talking to you.

  • @Astreification Firstly im quite calm, was just saying maybe she does exercise...I know you weren't talkin to me i was talkin to u tho

  • @dannys2222 God damn you're a fucking prick, aren't ya? Be nice and if you don't have anything nice to say don't say anything at all, asshole. :)

  • @dannys2222 Well youre not her asshole. If she wanted to lose weight she would. And why would she want to lose weight for you.. Who the fuck are you to decide what she should look like. I think shes very pretty! I think YOU should fuck off and get a life. Seeing as were giving out unsolicited opinions

  • you have mini hands like me!!! My family and I call them eewok hands. ya know from star wars?

  • guys and dolls ?

  • nice hair my hair is dark brown moussy shade and its dull and boring

  • WOW! you hair loooks so nice :) i have white ish blonde hair and i am so bored with it lol

  • actually, I think the uneven color gives it more texture, it looks good

  • you should judt dye it all black. it looks so pretty with your skintone.

  • something similar happened to my hair yesterday and i feel so depressed right now,my hair was bright red like yours at the beggining,i needed to redye so i got my usual hair dye, wich for some reason wasnt enough so i had the back half dyed and the front was a washed out orange ish red,the next day i went to get another one,i couldnt find my shade in the brand i use so i got the same shade in another brand BIG MISTAKE it turned out dark redish brown, bleaching it would be too much now :(

  • For further coloring your hair. put a thin layer of Vaseline in your hair line, ears and neck. It will help a lot. Love your hair but I think I'm tooo old (35)for the color. Meaning that fabulous Shocking red.

  • Why don't you just bleach the parts you messed up blonde and start over?

  • @MasochisticWords bleaching the messed up parts would most likely damage her hair

  • @MasochisticWords you could instead just shampoo bleach (shampoo + bleach) the messed up parts. It'll lighten it with out damaging the hair to much.

  • oh my! yeahh your not suppose to use developer with those veggie colours! i would suggest using Pravana hair colours! they have super funky colours and work really well!

  • so do i get a level 10 or 20 with that red for faded black hair?

  • @ThePoetikmind215 Yeah, im like new to the dyeing world...what do you mean by level 10 or 20?x

  • @IKLEMEANY I am not a pro I had been watching hair dye vids on youtube and I heard diff people say that they used volume 10 or 20....i think the higher the volume the lighter your hair will get but I am really not sure...it would be best to call a beauty supply store like Sally's. :)

  • oooooo I love it and have been looking all over youtube for a great red dye vid and this is it....THIS is rhe color would love to achieve...the last time I died my hair black was like last year....oh what to do, any advice?

  • Ahaha.. Ur not allowed to mix peroxide and semipermanent dye. Never! Ever! Never! lmao!! it says at the back of the bottle I guess. :/ damn ur stupid!

  • You hair looks great and ur really pretty :D

  • your eyes are pretty :)

  • Oh daaaaayyyyuuuummmm girl you be lookin' fly with that bag on your head :P

  • :) wow! i love, love, love the end result. i wish i could do something like this to my hair... no idea what type of hair cut you have or how you got the black on the bottom/the top to blend so perfectly though.

  • pantene. is not gud for hair period. dont use it

  • im in comso school too :]

  • Cora, can you list the ingredients in the Lanza products? I cant find the ingredients anywhere and the closest place to me to see them is a few hours away. I want something natural/semi naural to extend my haircolor life. Thanks in advance. :)

  • haha penetrating the shaft... sorry lol great vid

  • hor color hair sexy style finis arr baby

  • omg i love your eyes!! theyre so beautiful and blue.

  • cora could you do a makeup tutorial for someone who wears glasses??

  • if you put lotion before you dye your hair and when your done u take it off you wont have your skin dye and it will not stain u

  • yeah vaseline would be better than the alcohol I'm going to cosmetology school and that's what we have to do if we're dying the hair or anything like that. I love you Cora you're amazing :) your hair looks amazing. But I loved the color you use when it was that bright reddish pink. what did you use?

  • You are awesome and I swear you should be a hairdresser! You're so talented and you haircut is really cute. <3

  • TOTALLY LOVE UGLY BETTY! THE FIRST SEASON WAS AMAZING. have not watched it since but not on purpose

  • I had a dye accident once and used a product called Color Oops. It's around $12.00 and I only found it at CVS. If you put it on your hair after a dye job you are not satisfied with, it removes the dye.

  • I took screenshots too!! Haven't gotten it cut yet tho but I can't wait. I LOVE your hair!! I so want to be your best friend!! :)

  • i dont know why you mention the subscriber would not want to be named. your hair is your responsibility and it was your fault you blindly followed the advice off of someone from the internet. i mean, test patch much?

i am sure you learned a valuable lesson and your hair looks fab.

  • The end result is SO gorgeous! I love your videos :)

  • looks great

  • i luv ur hair! im guessin it sin layers. correct? the auburn is 1 layer & the blk is another, 2 layers?

  • dont be mad but i took screan shots ov your hair and im gonna take them to my hair dressser and i hope she cuts and dyes it right! ahh your soo pretty with it!

  • pert plus shampoo removes color if you ever have a mishap again also, using Vaseline on the hair line will work as a colorblocker too

  • just a tip that I do when im dying a darker color and a lighter color, you cover the lighter color with conditioner (: so that it'll just wash out and it wont stain or anything, I had turquoise and white hair for awhile so it was reaallllyy hard to look after without large amounts of bleeding haha

  • ugly betty is hysterical btw.. totally love it :)

  • if youre into amazing shampoos and conditioners.. try Lush products.

  • wait you get MORE volume with a flat iron?? You've got to show me that!!!!!!!!!! PLEEEAAAASSSEE!!!!!!!!!! My hair is always so flat...... :(

  • So glad you enjoy Moi Moi Masque and Neem! I use both of those and the masque might just be my favorite L'ANZA product. Smells so gooooood....our developer is from Hawaii so those lovely vacation smells tend to sneak in ;-)

  • "..penetrating the shaft.." lol. nice.

    Love your hair!

  • i actually love your hair

  • You should never mix a vegtable "natural" colcor with an Oxidative color! your lucky your hair didnt melt off.

  • if you need a shampoo to help remove color again, try a clarifying shampoo its typically used to take out chlorine for swimmers but it'll do the job to. kms and abba are pretty good, put it in and let it sit for maybe 15 min or so or every other wash use tea tree shampoo from paul mitchell it's sorta strong so don't use it every wash

  • I really like your new hair! It's adorable.

  • Comment removed

  • Woot! Looks awesome, I love it! Thanks for the great vid and tips :)

P.S. Do you cut your own hair too?

  • i love ugly betty!

  • when you're dying your hair at homee, you should keep Prell around, its great! whenever my friends or myself dye our hair, we keep it just in case of mistakes. it totally ggets the color out. i keep my color brown, but darker and lighter so it works very well to change the level of color you get or just in case you mess us. what i do is dye my hair, wash, then take a small chunk underneath and blow dry it a tiny bit to check out the color. love the hair!

  • I don't do color but I do like watching your videos. :) I also like your hair color. The one we see anyway. ;)

  • i love that color. i was thinking about doing mine something close to that. i'm a natural redhead, so i was thinking about the dark color for winter. what do you think about changing hair color with the season? going darker in winter is right, right? lol

  • most natural hair colors go darker in the fall/winter seasons because the sun isn't as close to the earth to cause the highlights to come out.

  • YES! Ugly Betty is one of the shows that I DO NOT miss when it's on. I love it. =)

  • My lord woman! The faces you make when you are blow drying are hilarious!

  • lol i loved this video it was so goofy i had a few good laughs! =)

  • What kind of camera do you use? or is it a mac laptop?

  • I mix semi permanent with permanent color all the time to add depth. You have three different brands.. Ion 10 vol has great demi permanent which I highly recommend. I am a certified colorist is you need help I would gladly advice you.

  • I always use alcohol or nail polish remover to get the dye off my face

  • i think you should dye your hair black and then but purple highlights underneath =)

it think it would look pretty on you =)

  • also..youcant heat process every color. some lines are not meant to be processed with heat. you should be careful.

  • okay first off great video

i am going to dye my hair bright purple with special effects i was thinking of using deep purple i want it to be bright but not like so bright it hurts to look at my hair haha my hair is like a golden color should i still bleach it and should i use a brighter dye cuz i dont want the color to be dull

  • you can use conditioner as base by your hair line on on the hair you dont wanna color by the way. then you dont have to use alcohol.

  • you must have mixed a metallic salt dye with a a vegetable dye..have you ever been to cosmetology school?

its really important that you read the ingredients of color..its not recommended to mix colors of different lines for one (though some are compatible), and if the bottol says do not add developer..then dont do it. but yeah..sounds like you mixed a veg with a metallic and that is a big no no.

  • Your hair looks FAB!!

  • Amazing result

  • 13:52 wow! so much better! aww ur bangs look cute just straight *not side swept* :D

can we trade hair for a week? lol!

  • Also, you shouldnt put heat on most bleach and gel hair colors., heat will make the color and bleach "bleed" on each other.

  • Try Anti-snap hair hair reconstructor by REDKEN also Sally Beauty Supply sells it in there generic brand, workd great. also rinse your hair with cool water. Pantene tends to cause buildup on your hair shaft. After you use pantene take a pair of scissors and scrape a piece of hair to see all the buildup fall off. Sallys also sells a color remover for your skin.

  • Your hair looks fab at the end : ) x

  • it's a good show. ugly betty i mean. it's good sometimes.

  • new color looks soo greattt! you are absolutely beautiful [:

  • your hair looks gorgeous at the end .. your eyes are gorgeous!

  • i find pantene ice shine makes your scalp really dry

  • Pantene hair products make my hair fall out for some reason. If I shampoo with any other brand, my hair is fine...theres very little fall out. But as soon as I use Pantene...I get literally 10 - 15 hairs every time I scrub my scalp. :/ I don't understand it. :/

  • i found that too, when i brushed my hair i found my hair brush was clogged in hair! ive also found that with head and shoulders, im not sure if you get that brand in the states.but i find aussie brand shampoo fab if you have dry or damaged hair

  • Yeah, I love using Aussie.

  • sorry 2 here about ur hair;( did u know u can use vaseline around ur hairline nd it prevents the dye from staining ur skin! btw ur hair turned out great;)

  • YOUR CRAZY! but I love it x

  • Why don't you put alcohol on your skin?

  • Very dehydrating obviously. XD Among other things, also why I stay from hair products with alcohol in them.

  • luvz it! i <3 the re-color

  • Lol, awesome video. :-D

  • wow your eyes so scary blue its so beautiful!!!

  • hahahah love the bag!!! you did an amazing job with the colour....and I absolutely love the bangs too!!!

  • Oh it is sooo cute... good job :D

  • Ugly Betty is a really cute show. I think you'd like it a lot. One thing I think would be of special interest to you is the use of color, if you watch it you'll see what I mean. It's really beautiful, lots of brights and an ingenious way of making various colors enhance the storyline. I didn't get to finish the last season so I've kinda fallen out of the habit of watching, but I plan to go back and catch up soon.

  • oh cool, I love that sort of thing! I'm really out of the Tv-watching habit....there is no show I watch every week as a specific time. Trying to pick the habit back up for good shows. I'm a goober, but I really like ghost whisperer and Medium.

  • Yeah, I never watch anything when it's actually on. I find streams online more often than not...luckily most of the shows I like come on during different parts of the year. I feel you on the goober thing, I am OBSESSED with The Tudors and Big Love.

  • Youre so frikkin hilarious. lol

  • i think you just look so beautiful makeup no makeup pink hair or any hair color :) keep rockin girl!

  • why dont u use deposable shower caps!

  • Because that would be a waste. I already have the bags, and they were free, so that saves money. Then, I'm reusing them, so the bags were used more that once. :)

  • You're so adorable :)

    And I lovelovelove the red!

I use petroleum jelly along my hairline when I dye it to keep the color from staining my skin. But a lot of people don't like it, so...

  • After the last video seeing you back to your goofy self was so relieving. xD

Love you Cora, you're wonderful. <3

  • goof goofity goof troop, haha.

  • Hahahaha, and I said that when I was only halfway through the video, then I saw you with your hair held back and the plastic bag and I giggled soooooo much.

Not in the bad way, just the..."Oh-my-god-Cora-is-brave-and-adorable-way"

Specially for not being wasteful about Shower caps. : D

  • Loved the faces you made during the blow drying XD

your hair looks really good <3

  • that's a rule, you HAVE to make funny faces as you blow dry! :)

  • yeah I make funny faces too :)

  • awsome!!

  • om gosh that looks amasing and awsome and all the oter words for it lol

  • You look really good at the end! :)

  • yes ugly betty is worth watching but i recommened you start from the begining

  • OH yeah, I would start at the beginning. Most of the reason I don't watch a lot of shows is not knowing what is going on.

  • Thanks for showing your hair color process. I don't really color my hair but you are so entertaining to watch! I love the red, it looks great on you and I love your bangs!

  • lol, thank you

  • u look gorgeous :)

  • i love ur hair...but the red is hot.....

  • That serum from L'Anza rocks! I use it every time I shampoo my hair.

  • doesn't it smell freaking amazing?

  • Everything they make smells good. It's an awesome line!

  • demi permenant haircolors have their own type of developer that is designed not to lift the hair color only deposite.

  • I had no idea! You learn something every day!

  • I'm surprised that it had stripped your color. I'm in beauty school and will ask my instructor for you. If you want to refresh your red without recoloring it, Sally's sells these red boosters additives to add to your color but you can mix it in with your shampoo also. It's by Ardell and they have others too.

  • Omg! I went through like the same thing!

My red faded and turned like a blondish/coppery/green color. I hated it! I got it dyed dark auburn and now it's a natural red. But since my roots are coming in, I'm just going to dye it a chocolatey brown.

  • Isn't is a Nightmare? Hair with a green (and not a cool intentional green!) gah!

  • I know!

It gets to be this totally weird color!

  • your eyes are breath taking i think you should do a tutorial on a short hair style with cute chiccurls in your hair i would really love to see u with curls.

  • it looks way better

  • a great tip a high profile stylist gave me in NYC is if you do an at home color, and you get that brassy look, mixing VITAMIN C POWDER (like emergence C ) with water make a paste, apply to wet hair and set w a warm dryer. let the mask set, n in 15 -20 mins rinse.. it really works, also helps w those w clorine fried hair too..

  • Huh, that's seems odd but cool. I have some of those emergen-C thingys somewhere....

  • I love ur blue eyes i wish myne were blue

  • you're married?!

  • yep, 'bout a year and a half. It's cheesy, but I married my HS sweetheart!

  • it looks AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!! well, now anyways! you are orgeous and you have the most beautiful eyes ever!

  • omg ur eyes are beautiful!!!!

  • I like it :)

  • Looks good!!!!

  • hey, i was wondering where you go to get your hair cut? i really like it and i've been looking for somewhere in the bay area that knows what their doing. please let me know. thanks.

    -Iris

  • I probably shouldn't answer this for her, but, she has said before that she cuts her own hair. talented!!

  • wow if she does she does an amazing job!

  • thank you for helping out/knowing that in the first place! I <3 My Subscribers.

  • I normally get my hair cut by Heather in Vacaville Ca and the Salon is "Mirage" . This most recent time I saw Ashley at the Vine St Salon in Berkeley. The Bangs I did myself :)

  • I'm definitely gonna check out Vine St Salon in Berkeley. Cause vacaville is a bit too far for me (i live in Oakland). Thanks SO much! You're the best! I love all your videos! they're so helpful!

  • idk if you already said this, but where did you get the hair dye and the developer?

  • Sally Beauty Supply

  • this hair color makes your eyes look extravegent and you have really nice eyebrows ;]

  • I'm do the Bag and Blow Dryer Part.

And I Also have a "I'm Going to Color

My Hair" Shirt. But Mines is all Raggedy.

    :D

  • ugh I'm going to sound stupid, but ill ask anyway. When, you put your bangs up in the rubber band, do u dye it that way or take them out before putting the color on?

if anyone else can answer that would be great too. Thanks :)

  • she probably takes them out. :] cuz afterwards her hair wasn't in them, while the dye was processing :]

  • I take them out, LOL

  • GORGEOUSSSSSSSS
