I was actually there when this was being shot. Dave did this on the tennis court that they put a ton of sand on. The next night he did the boat scene in the same area. Funniest part was he had Karen Mcdougal (pmoy) who was really into the scene and then halfway through it she got up, and went over to the pile of sand and puked her brains out. Dave's security leader was named "Sarge". He asked what she ate? She said she had a salad and 2 bottles of champagne.
Er...interesting but, fish out Fair Warning (vinyl preferably) turn the volume way up (11 if possible) and play mean street! When the dust settles and you've picked your jaw up off the floor THEN appraise Dave's effort. Love the guy enough to concede (quietly) that this is not one of his finest moments.

I'm sure there is some truth to that, but some people just don't get that he's turning it up a notch for entertainment value. I am 49 years old and the biggest Van Halen/Roth fan since day 1. I have always felt that Dave thought he was better in his own mind, than he really was. After watching this, I think I was wrong!! Here's to an ass-kicking new cd & 2010 will be the best summer since 1984!
