Superb!!

I heard Katchen play both Brahms Concertos one evening back in the early '60s, in NYC. A marvelous performance.

Some years ago, I told this to Pascal Roge. Roge then told me that Katchen had done the same thing in Paris, and then played, as an encore, the Paganini Variations??!!

Unbelievable!!!!
