ur fingers and toes are ur bodies cooling fins like an air cooled engine.ur blood flows through ur fingers a lot thats why when u cut your finger it bleeds like crazy so those hand warmers really do make ur mouth smile, lol! u can learn a lot when u ride motorcycles! if that didnt make sense go ahead and start riding. survival will rush at yu in 0.02 secounds. i learned that wearing leather in the summer doesnt just keep ur flesh on in a crash but will keep u from freezing at 120mph.
You need a fixed blade knife and personally even if you can find shelter I would carry a tarp. If your looking for shelter most likely everybody else will be too! Good kit overall.

I won't disagree for some people a shelter/tarp would be a necessary item for a GHB, but my location/distance from work make it unnecessary, again that will be different for everyone. My Kabar does usually go in the trunk too, but you're probably right I could use a full time fixed blade in there...
Nice video. Be nice to add to you bag is a Map. Of the state and city you are in. Incase your GPS dont work. Then draw a circle from your place then extends out. Circle every 2-5 mile gap. Gives detail so encase or emergency. Kind find alternate route and how many miles. I did that with my city map. Draw a circle every 2 miles. I used a red pen from my house and blue for center of city. Have 2 different color on my map shows the distance. Hope that idea helps.
Store some cash also if the power goes out and your unable to take money out of an ATM.
