  • stupid copyrights, I can't listen anything thanks to you...

  • Nice animals!

To bad they are Extinct animals!

  • By the way, what is that blurry shit happening in the background... It freaks me out.

  • i can not begin to imagine what the world will be like in a thousand years if we dont act fast and save the endangered species of today! they need our help!!!!

  • I really wish that species was still alive. does anyone play zoo tycoon 2? the Thylacine is on there and its so cool.

  • how sad

  • well like its more like a kangroo than wolf but i ge twhat your comming from and really they went extinct in 1973 not 1936 they where killed of mostly by farmers and stuff they are more like kangroos because they resemble on if the kangroo is nelt down and because it has a pouch lke most marsuples and yes it was well like i think thats all i have to say sorry my spelling is to bad

  • how sad :(

  • 1000 years from now people would not belive humans live with the tasmanian tiger they would say it live like 30 million years ago.

  • No, because we keep better records now, and have equipment like video cameras. Pimp slap 2 your brain fool.

  • You're right we have cameras but what about in the future we have a Terrible nuclear meltdown and we lose all our imformation and cameras and computer's and we get in a dark age . Have you ever think of that.

  • yeah it happened thousands of years ago (i think)

ANd we called the civilization Alantas ......

I have read about places where nuclear explosion had happened... though it may not have been from man... it could have been a natural phenomenon ....

  • ha ha ha crazy but true.

  • i hate my species for making animals dead.........

  • me to

  • Yes indeed Watchmyshoes22 you're absolutely right and the thylacines were already living over there and those farmers invaded THEIR territory and had no right to kill all of them!

  • Beautiful.

  • what is the disadvantage to humans when these big animals go extinct???

  • yup thats how it starts man then after a while you'll start to say "what wrong with killing off another race?"

  • hmmmm u farmers that had trouble with these animals killing your sheep BUILD A FUCKIN FENCE!!!

  • Jim Croce time in a bottle

  • their jaws must have been immensely strong

  • sad ):

    the song i fit..

can you tell me the song name?

  • yeah these are pretty cool. to bad they went exctinct they woudlve looked cool in zoo's.

  • All creatures have the right to live. Remember we invaded their territory not the other way around. The same thing is happening in Asia with tigers, towns are developing more and into the woods and Tigers end up in people's backyards then they get shot. Not very cool.

  • Any dumbass who thinks they deserved to go just because they did what any predator would do and took down a few sheep deserves to be shot. Now THAT would be ridding the world of a problem.

  • it really is the animals world...they came before us...so people should not kill them ;_;

  • That guys face scared me...

  • Yeah I thought he was going to read his manafesto or something

  • I saw a man face on the glass of the TT (Tas tiger) at 2:03 it scared me XD...

Yeah pity how europeans kill off at least 26 australian creatures. How rude of them to do that. They are trying to bring back the TT using clone and DNA but their having trouble getting the DNA from those perserved TT in glass. It will be a long time before we even get to see them walking in captivity (I doubt they would release them back in the wild unless its a park reserve).

  • dumb basterd cant even say it lol

  • were u like readin wikipedia? cause ur eyes were movin while u were saying the words. good info, but the pics are pretty blurry

  • The main reasons for their extinction was poaching because they were seen as a pest by farmers and the introduction of dogs and rats that passed on diseases.

Dingoes have been in Australia for way longer than European settlers and the tasmanian tiger went extinct around the same time we came over.

    End of story! Any questions?

  • <3 anthropocentric world view. You can't just exterminate a species and expect it not to have consequences. Given human track records, we're pretty horrible at engineering our own environments and causing unintended consequences.

  • The Tasmanian Tiger wasn't related to wolves at all. They're a marsupial, more closly related to kangaroos, koalas and tasmanian devils than wolves!

And the narrator was terrible too.

  • I can't believe that this will one day happen to the brown bear, or the tigers, or the lions. What are we to think that the world is here to kill animals and to be cruel to them. These animals could have lived up until now if we cared more.... it's so sad...

  • qft

  • Hey spazzy just because they can read a liscense plate from space doesnt mean we could find them most animals are expert in the art o stealth and when they read the liscense platethey know where it is and already have a lock on it

  • i read a newspaper article they said that they were gonna resurruct a tasmanian tiger

  • no one can resurrect, but recreate.

  • u sed Thylacine like thigh-la-cane. I thot it was pronounced thigh-la-seen.

hahaha yeah you sounded retarded but great info. And actually they odly rate the taz tiger as more feline than kanine

  • The Tasmanian Tiger has always fascinated me. For whatever reason they have been wiped out. Whether by Dingos or man. I really hope we are wrong and they still exist. Other animals thought to be extint have been found. I really hope this one will be found one day.

  • if its possible to read a car's number plate from space why cant they find these creatures. i want them to be alive but it seems bleak

  • I feel sorry for any animal that has to suffer at a human's hand. So much for being the greater species. We can't even protect animals from ourselves much less quit being so quarrelsome to each other. But we can hope that the Thylacine is still alive somewhere out of reach of a human environment.

  • humans didn't do it dinggos did. they came by boats from asia and where better hunters and killers becuz they hunt in packs .

dingos have been blamed 4 the Extinction of a few more animals as well

  • You dont really have much of a idea do you?

They were hunted out by europeans, and its also fact that some diseases passed on by introduced species hindered its existance.

With todays technology we can bring them back, but no, our farmers are still to selfish and scared of change.

  • the farmers aren't selfish.you have no clue either.I had family that hunted them.they had to.my grandfather lost over 200 sheep in less then three months to only four of them.they killed way more then they ate.and if they did eat any of them it was only small parts like the eyes and the nose while wasting the rest of the animal and going on to kill more.they were fierce and farmers had ever right to kill them.other wildlife in tasmania is doing just fine without them.they are no longer needed

  • Dingoes killed the Thylacine on mainland Australia, but dingoes never made it to Tasmania. The Thylacines in Tasmania were killed by humans.

  • nothin like a wolf is more like a kangaro ass is posseses multiple of its characteristics and is a marsupial (sorry if my spelling is wrong) and is not a dog

  • ohh,poor animal :(

  • i wont one hmmm how did the do dos go extinct?

  • RAÇA HUMANA: A raça que mais constroi objetos, mas a que mais destroi vidas [raças] na nossa galaxia

  • u sed Thylacine like thigh-la-cane. I thot it was pronounced thigh-la-seen.

  • tasmanian tiger is a marsupial

  • WAS a marsupial

  • you know we think a lot of animals are Extinct that turn up to be alive but they just live in a diffrent place fish do that all the time so whos to say some dont still live on.. its not crazy

  • davidcorbineau go to the shit!.

The tylacine was extincted because of the settlers in Tasmania and Australia.People think they killed too many sheeps.

    Maybe stupids may disappear too...

  • NOOOO WHY GOD!!!, i heard there was a sighting somewhere, its hard to believe anything is extinct, maybe they havent been seen

  • please can you wirte this info next time?

  • i heard there are around just 30 in the outback or something on this show on the animal planet if thats true WOOT

  • thylacine was not a wolf nor is it in the canidae family. It was a marsupial more closely related to Kangaroos and Koalas.

  • thank you...somebody really knows his stuff..

  • sound it out it is not called a THY-CAINE it is called a THY-LA-SEEN

  • nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo

  • funny, it's butt looks like a zebra

  • The Tasmanian Tiger wasn't related to wolves at all. They're a marsupial, more closly related to kangaroos and koalas than wolves!

  • don't turn this into a thing about race there were also white people that tryed to save the thylacine

  • who ever the f**k you are just keep bad comments to your self!

  • such a shame they where killed by haters, pore things, they where so adorible too,i apriciate this dedication to them, thanx

  • THYLACINE

  • it is a such a waste to have such a beautiful animal to become extinct...in fact that goes for any animal FUCK YOU FARMERS!!!

  • so true, its so unfair that they took over there land and killed them, they where there first and if farmers wanted to keep there life stock safe they should have just kept a better eye on them or what ever, they didnt have to kill off the pore things just for the meer fact they where hungry, just like the pore wolves, such gorgeous creatures they are

  • Australian mammal extinctions account for nearly half of the mammal extictions in the past 200 years. The Thylacine was one of those that was eliminated as ranchers consumed the forests of Tasmania for sheep and cattle grazing. The introduction of the fox, the rabbit, the cane toad and numerous other non-native beasties have and are still decimating Australia's native wildlife. The most commonly encountered herpetofauna in tropical Au is the cane toad.

  • Wow. The song makes it seem really depressing.

Its a fucking bum that humans have to kill animals for nothing but their fur. I hope to god these animals are still alive, and not extinct. And I hope that all these sightings, someone will get a good look at one and know for sure its a Thylacine.

  • and it wasn't just for their skin that they were killed the australian government actually put a bounty on their head and paind people to kill them to stop them from eating farm animals very sad but true.

  • Love how people are like "oh well, survival of the fittest" and all that. They'd be singing a different tune if it was the human race about to be extinct. Funny thing is, it looks like mankind will be mankinds downfall. So are we the best or are we the worst on the survival of the fittest scale? Time will tell...

After a virus has consumed all its resources- it dies.

  • whats the music?

    great looking video.

    great looking animal.

  • thylacine, was a carnivorous marsupial. the closest relative to the tasmanian tiger is the tasmanian devil which is also a carnivorous marsupial.. the reason it has resemblance to a canine ie (wolf) is due to convengent evolution: which is when organisms not closely related, evolve similar traits as a result of having to adapt to similar enviroments. good video dude.

  • I think you mean convergent** evolution. But yeah, the concept is sound.

  • Superb video!

    Thanks for sharing!

  • oh come on it cant be extinct there are tons of sightings

  • No, it wasn't more of a wolf. It was nicknamed the "tasmanian wolf", which was just as incorrect as "tasmanian tiger." It's called a Thylacine, and it was a marsupial.

  • Great song man!

  • thigh-la-seen

    thykine?

    wtf. haha

  • thigh-a-seen

    hahahaah thykine?! wtf.

  • Extinct is such a big word, nature is all about survival of the strongest, evolution makes new spiecies and old or weak ones die out.

I would prefer to see more coral in the ocean though, thats number one lifeforce in the world, and we are killing those massivly.

  • Yes... "Nature" is all about survival but, humans coming into an animals habitat and destroying it or releasing other, non-native animals around it is not "natural" at all. It is a shame that this majestic creature had to be cut down to such low numbers that it is now considered extinct.

  • bullshit people have something to do with it to if i recall they are a race of people that has become extinct

  • prick go shag some coral

  • for some reason those freak me out

  • Blow you nose!!!

  • omg, pay attention dumbass`s he said WOLF LIKE, geeezzz

  • the mouth is scary as fuck

  • Why couldn't they keep them alive at the zoos ??? :(

  • it is because pochers sneek into the zoo and kill them

  • No...God you are an idiot. Thylacines/Tasmanian Tiger's did not breed in captivity.

  • He meant wolf-like in appearance.

  • Like a wolf? come on, these animals were like meat-eating kangaroos that walked on 4 legs.

  • They are not related to cats or dogs in any way. They are of the Opossum/Marsupial and Polyprotodonts Family Tree... only Carnivore you could say that they are closer related to today are the Hyaenadie (Hyenas).

  • How is it a wolf? stick to what you know!

  • stupid human they kill everything

  • u eat turkey

  • they didnt deserve to die off and your an ass

  • Guess who's reponsible for their extinction.

  • ur so gud at tha stuf!

    not 4 gey

  • THY-LA-SEEM

  • Thy-la-seen ;)

  • THY LA SEEN. thas what i said alright haha

  • It would be soo awsome if they were still out there. Due to the amount of "sightings," I would say there Could be (If they are really tasmainian tigers) 13? Yet the south China tiger is nearing the same fate :(

  • Well They are planning on bring it back! I think they are using the DNA of an unborn thylacine fetus that they still have. They are suppost to have this accomplished by the year 2011 or 2012......

  • Does any one know why this animal was killed off??

  • The thylacine was killed becuase people thought they stole chickens but it was really german shepard dogs that got loose :( its so sad

  • I saw a stuffed thylacine at the natural history mueseam london I also saw a stuffed dodo I have a photo of the thylacine but sadly not the dodo :(

  • BWAHAHAHAHA!! THYLACAIN! lol its THY-LAH-SEEN

  • you know tasmanian tigers may still be alive

  • my great grandpas father got to c one of those

  • It's cute when it's mouth isn't open XD

  • it is not a wolf. it is more of a kangaroo

  • ITS A MARSUPIAL!! LIKE A KANGAROO

  • I know. And did u know some thing funny about them? their testicles are infront of the willie unlike our.

  • haha thnx but i didn't ask for that...lol....

  • You stupid ass bitch the only thing it has in common with the Kangaroo is the fact it's a marsupial

  • fool! it was a comment which i made for some one who was saying it is a more like a wolf. get it? you r lucky to call me a stupid bitch and not to say it face to face or i'll turn you into a bitch.

  • Cryptoguy is right with that pronounciation.

  • its thy-la-seen not thy-la-cain... just pointin that out

  • You've made that very clear jackass

  • wtf how am i a jackass?

  • How so sad. I remember reading about this kind of animal. Hunters killed all because they thought were super risky to have around domestic animals.

  • XD 00:48, that tiger has the mouth for honeycomb XD.

    Poor things.

  • Whats the name of this song?

  • It's Time in a Bottle.

  • lmao u sound so retard-it lmao u suck lol wat the fuck is that music lmao

wat the fuck shut the fuck up bicth lmao o shit lol

this is a fucked up video lmao

  • OK budy next time you are making a video try not to read off a piece of papper

  • that is so sad and i am crying

  • this is so sad, but cloning extinct animals would be very...creepy

  • I always wondered why they made the Tasmanian Devil in Loony Toons look the way he does. He looks nothing like the real thing.

  • Um, there's the Tasmanian tiger, that's in the video, and then there is the Tasmanian devil which is a vicious marsupial rodent.

  • THE devil isnt Vicious!!!

  • He's a cartoon. Does Mickey Mouse look like a real mouse? Is any human on earth built like Popeye?

  • i saw a documantary where this guy wannted to clone a tazmanian tiger from a picled pup they had lyin' around in some museum, in australia i think it was. the pup had DNA that scientists think they can use. i'm not a zoologist by the way, i just got the discovery channel and loads of free time.

  • that is true,,they have the dna to bring back the tiger,, you r correct!

  • Say "thy-la-SIGN" or "thy-la-SEEN", not "cain". Where'd you hear to pronounce it like that?

  • Let me guess your the guy that goes around picking out all the things that are wrong with peoples videos. Who cares where I learned to say anything? And just because it's on You tube doesn't mean you go around being a jackass to everyone.

  • Waaaaah. And let me guess, you're the sort with no life who goes around looking for comments to object to? If you want to keep a video up where you look like a dork because you can't pronounce a word, go for it, dude! I just happened to actually have studied zoology!

  • I have a life. And just because I can't pronounce a word doesn't mean u have to leave a comment that makes you sound like a complete jackass.

  • yur a freak kid

  • wow all i have to say is that this is probally the bestest video on you tube. i loved the music in the background too. and im sorry but to be a bit of a critic you spelt researched wrong, and you could tell that you were reading it all off the computer screen, and the hand in the background at 17 seconds was a good touch, but other than that amazing video. you are totally my hero, and you are kind of sexy.;)

  • Yes I know i spelled researched wrong i accidentally hit the "u" button on the key broad and by the time i noticed it it was already too late.

  • And to continue, I had no other way of putting the words into the video. The hand was completely accidental and until you said that I never noticed it was there. And unless your a chick it's kinda creepy that you think I'm sexy.

  • ouch...

  • those things are creepy. and they're practically killing tose things in the small jar thingy!

  • what is the song you put in the video?

  • The name of the song in the video is Time In A Bottle. I don't know who its by.

  • It's by Gordon Lightfoot.

  • Nope. Try Jim Croce.

  • Oops, my bad. I must have been thinking of "If You Could Read My Mind." Or I was half-asleep. Or I'm getting senile.

  • They had stripey butts.

  • atually they had stripey rumps

  • nice tribute.i didnt know that they were outdead

  • My name is Doug Smith i made this video thanx for you're comment. At the time that this video was uploaded my computer would not upload anything at all.
