  • Come check out our awesome xbox 360 and PS3 controllers!!!

  • Then I've been doing it a bit wronge I have been trying to use capasitors but I can't charge one right and all the power is let out at once

  • How did u get 5 leds on a 3 volt current how did or what type of leds did u use

  • @XxiMcRAzYLaZyxX Standard 5mm white leds, i wired them all in parallel so that they draw more current rather than voltage.

  • Halo 3, FTW.

  • Seems like a whole lotta shit to go through for a fucking window

  • It's pretty nice? I don't think it's pretty nice I think that's freaking amazingly awesome! That's a great job you've done, best controller I've seen for xbox in my life! NICE!

  • This will look good with my RROD.

  • what is it with XBOX'S and red rings?..mm

  • thats sick man

    keep it up

  • You need to do a step by step video that's a mad ass controller

  • thats a crazy awesome controller....

  • you should do a tutorial to do this

  • That is actually a good idea...well made as well

  • WHAT THE HELL R U TALKING ABOUT DUDE

  • @RapidFireControlers he can hold the guide and then click up and a and it shuts off the xbox too. problem solved

  • @XairsoftsquadX how can you do that when there is no xbox???

  • nice job man but what are you going to do when the batteries go bad? you say you can't replace them so what happens when they don't keep a charge anymore?

  • Dude that's fucking cool. To bad I can't do it cause it's to much work aha

  • urea smart motherfucker

  • @RapidFireControlers lol, thats happened before XD Fortunately the controller shuts itself off after 5 mins

  • @FrigginSmift You should have used and old ps3 battery because they are very thin and flat

  • @FrigginSmift can i buy one. put them on ebay i really want one how much?

  • @FrigginSmift So you had to intergrate a sort-off timer that shuts off the power if there's no signal from the buttons? xD

  • @MuzzaHukka lol, fortunately i didn't have to, the auto shut off feature is standard for all wireless xbox controllers.

  • Yeah, you know you can drill a hole for a switch on the back which toggles the power from the batteries. BTW, is there any way I can download a PCB file of the circuit board inside the controller?

  • @FrigginSmift hey can u give me one thats made by u n like that

  • wow the LED light r fukin awsorm

  • it would be cool if the back was just blank flat plastic, look futeristic

  • About how much did all the supplys for this cost you??

  • @FrigginSmift can you make a tutorial on how to do the battery pack thing

  • nice bro

  • are you selling any

  • lol SONY tv

  • Oof 3mins of bullshit just to see the lights. You should have made two videos. One showing the actual led mods and another showing exactly how you put it together since you cared so much about it. Ah well it wasn't a bad vid, nice mods. Cheers!

  • Nice control dude, i like how you added the batteries on the handles, smart man smart man

  • How much did it cost ?

  • I want one XD

  • where did you get that soldering gun and the holding arm thingy and the leds and youre hella good you should make a website and sell controllers you would make alot of money

  • How do you MOD it with Rumble?

  • can i mod a xbox 360 controller to have a ps3 battery pack?

  • @joshfig96 The ps3 controller uses a small lipo battery that may be hard to fit into the xbox controller because of its shape. Also, lipo batterys charge differently than the nimhs used in xbox rechargable battery pascks so charging the battery properly without the risk of fire could be tricky.

  • @FrigginSmift o can you try? im getting the slim 360 soon so im wondering instead of spending 10$everyday i wanna see if you can modify the ps3 battery

  • @joshfig96 what are you going to be spending $10 on everyday :/

  • @FrigginSmift on batteries i myself like 360 but im a PS3 fan i wanna try out 360 i heard (from friends) it beats ps3 i wanna see for myself

  • @joshfig96 i have both systems, there just different, i don'y think one is better than the other :D If you get the rechargable battery pack you won't have to keep buying batteries, just plug in the charge cable like the what you do with the ps3 controller when the battery is fading.

  • @FrigginSmift ooo cool

  • @joshfig96 get rechargable batteries get decent ones like 2000mah

  • How much would it be to buy a modded controller / have you mod one for me please?

  • good job dude it looks sick

  • thats sick

  • ShIIT tHaTs TiiGhT

  • why not have use the regular batterypack also and get double the batterylife?

  • You should put the rear section of a wired controller on it.

  • ON IT!!!!!!!

  • the see threw was badass

  • are you going to sell them because i would by one

  • dude that is friggin sweet, i rely want to do that battery pack mod to a controller, and the rumble activated lights, i defo want that. good job

  • is i sent you one will you do it for me i am retarded serioulsy though how much would u charge

  • can i buy this

  • lol screw hole

  • i naver had experiance with mods what are leds exatly?

  • if the trace goes to a little hole how do i do that??

  • @MegaBurton2 You will need to slowly and carefully scrape away the green insulation covering the trace, either right next to the missing pad where the LED is soldered down, or where the trace terminates at the hole, which will provide a larger contact point if you can remove the insulation without damaging it. Once the insulating is removed it will expose the bare copper trace which you can solder to and make your connection

  • bro this is sweet, but when i was putting in one of my leds one of the silver prongs that you are supposed to solder it to came off, can i do anything about that to fix it.

  • @MegaBurton2 If it snapped off and left no exposed material left to solder to, just get a new LED, there just a couple cents each.

  • @FrigginSmift no it is the mount that you put the led on, one of the little silver mounts is not there is there any way i can fix this

  • @MegaBurton2 Are you saying that the trace on the controllers circuit board is gone? If so then you will have to follow the trace to a different spot on the board and make the connection there. Use a small peice of wire to connect the led to that spot. Other wise you will need a new circuit board of live without an led in that spot.

  • thats a nice controller but you should put the white plastic over the clear and your freinds would thtink its a wired controller but in wireless mond lol :)

  • Can u sell me one

  • can you mod my controller like that

  • he didnt tell u that he removed the rumble pack so theres no vibration but if you put leds in your buttons and have them stay on all the time its soooo not bright and youll have to recharge in like 2hrs of use or u can just plug the play and charge kit in and it will all be alright

  • Makes you wonder why Microsoft didn't just put the batteries in the controller originally, since they obviously fit. I guess it's so they can make extra money from sales of the recharge kits.

  • niiiiiiiice man thats fricken awsome

  • You Should totally sell these!

    i would definately buy one

  • if you have that cabbel do you need batteries???

  • that is sick!! NICE CONTROLLER!!

  • Could you make a tut on how to put the led lights under the dome and the buttons???it would be Nice IF you would do It because im just starting to hack things and this is my first mod that im gonna try!!

  • i would be destracted by the led lights.

  • it would have been cooler if u left the plastic battery pack on and u could of fooled friends with a wireless controller playing without batteries

  • @ripppking Nice, i'll try that with my next controller. It should have them scratching their heads XD

  • @FrigginSmift glad i can help u helped me with ur guide on this for the light up LEDs i wanted to kno how to do that

  • @ripppking that would be cool

  • @EthanELT123 Sure can, but i choose rumble activation cuz i think it looks cooler

  • Sweet

  • Do you sell these and how much would you sell it for?

  • Why? just a pain to take the controller apart to change batteries. it doesnt even look smooth where the window is. sorry im not trying to bash your mod i just cant see a point. and i know those LEDS get annoying when you play i hope you have a toggle somewhere for those

  • @hiphopapotomas the batteies are recharged via the charge cable and the leds never annoy me

  • hi, how much would us sell them for?? inc p and p

    + i live in UK

  • thats soooooo awsome!!!!!!!!!!!

  • sorry i posted that comment halfway through the vid....GREAT CONTROLLER!!!

  • how does he change batteries

  • YO DUDE , i have the same black controller with that wire to recharge and im trying to put it wireless but it doesnt WORK ! can you please make a vid so show people ?

    PLZ !

  • nice work dude

  • very nice bro, I actually took a controller apart last night and am getting ready to paint it, and put leds in it for the first time... I went to radio shack this morning. Which leds do you use for the controllers, and do you have to use resistors? If so, what exactly do those do? I only bought one led this morning and it was a built in resistor.

  • i have a blue one rapid fire too

  • thats tight u should sell those...

  • how do you change batteries ?

  • I don't, thats what the charge cable is for ;)

  • @FrigginSmift isn't it like you can only charge batteries so many times before they become useless? Also, if you keep your charger connected 24/7 it will break the batteries and you will need to get a new pack.

  • Yes, rechargable batteries will degrade over time and eventually need to be replaced, but most rechargable batteries can be good for atleast 1000 cycles.

Yes, continuing to apply charge current to a full battery is bad for it and could possibly do harm to your charger. I only connect the cable when i need to charge the batts.

  • this is one of my most favorite modded controllers

  • were can i buy the materials for everything you did to your controller?

  • So your controller doesn't have the rumble moters in them anymore

  • Dude! Thats sweet!! :D

  • oooooo shit dats HOT!!!!!! =D

  • @xTiiTANx

    AMEN

  • The lighting up controller park is really beast when you shoot great job!

  • where did you order your leds? please replay asap

  • The leds in the buttons a white 5mm leds and the ones in the ROL are 0603 leds, i bought them all off of Ebay in bulk, couple bucks for a 100 or so leds

  • How much would you charge for one of these controllers?

  • thats epic but how come your controller didnt come on automatically when you put in the play and charge cord

  • Hmm, ive never had a controller turn on when i plug in the cable, it just sits there and charges till i turn it on myself.

  • do you sell them and how do you make it.

  • Comment removed

  • can you post a vid on how to do the rumble with that many led's i only know how to for two

  • awesome dude you should do a paint job and it would be completely perfect :D

  • you should patent that and sell those. 5/5.

  • He can't patent it, they're 360 controllers, thus, patented by MS. Mods, presumably come under that.

  • @inquisitorjwp hmm very true. maybe with microsoft's help they "could" both patent the console and the controller. i did think of a new version for the nex gen console yesterday. it has its own screen and has a shuffle mechanism inside it so all you have to do is load the xbox 400 (my future term of the xbox 360) with your 10 favorrite games and be done with it. and btw in the future sequel games like gta 4 tbogt and tlad. would be on 1 disc. after they were all released to make it better 4 u

  • a koioneeeee

  • your a fucking genius. i respect your abilities soooo much.

  • Were can I get the led lights?

  • ill trade it for a halo 3 custom one

  • can u make a tutorial video or can you make a me one which ill pay u for?

  • ive never eard of rumble activation thats pretty sweet thanks vid helped

  • that is so sick u should mass produce that i would defently buy one and i am sure many others would to

  • yay i wored like 6 hours now my controller also has hidden battaries

  • NIce work, any chance you'll make a video of it?

  • @FrigginSmift yap i just made it im going to upload it

  • @FrigginSmift ohhh and i think urs looks way better

  • plzzz do a tutorial

  • @invertAb13 o and also merry christmas

  • omfg show US! i don wanna wait 45 hours having you tell me the difference between a regular controller and the back of an LED modded one!

  • omg, best controller mod ever seen, Good job genious man!:D

  • ZOMG I WANT!!!

  • can you make a tutorial on how to do this?

  • nice

  • dang dude. thats sweet. I was wondering where you can get the LEDs that go on the ring, the red ones? and how do you install the LEDs into the y,a,b, abd x buttons? please repond.

  • lol i ran out of AA batteries and now im using D batteries 'cause they were all thats around.

  • could you make a tutorial

  • dude that is the best shit ever how much $ will it take 4 u to make my control like that

  • That Is The BEST MOD EVER! I Want Please = )

  • That's fucking hektik ...lol

  • I love my xbox360 pad ! ! ! its so cool

  • madd dude

  • First congratulations. You have done a wonderful job. I had given up of my wireless 360 pad but this is a great idea, put the batteries inside. Please could you make a guide to do it? Wed really appreciate.

  • nice man very well done where do you get the extra power for the led lighting in the buttons?

  • They are powered off the original rumble motor leads, so instead of a vibrating controller, i get lights

  • cant you also wire them on the opposite side of the rumble pack leads so you can keep your rumble back?

  • I could on a different controller if i wanted, the internal batteries in this controller are sitting where the original rumble motors were.
