  • waooo es un pastor aleman de pelo largo

  • @animaljamfreakshow If she didnt shed bite ur hand off.

  • I have a german shephard mixed with pit bull , Shes extremly fast and a mischeif maker but yet shes very sweet and will do anything for you (if she likes u)

  • @animaljamfreakshow If she doesnt like u shed bite ur hand off

  • Fuck the police.

  • im going to be joining the law enforcement and i want to be part of the k9 unit how can i do that? please help

  • malinois rule!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • my german shepherd just licks ppl and doesnt bark is that normal?

  • Очень слабо! Это не атаки - это херня!

  • I grew with working breed GS from Eurpean bloodlines as a child. When I came to the states and saw the bloodline pool of American Police K9 I was actually sad. The K-9 that are being breed or used by alot of Police Departments are not well breed. The first K-9 looked like it had gotten winded 1/2 way down the field. Its not the Police Officers fault, As I'm sure most would want a High Performance K-9.

  • Awesome dog though lol xD im getting one in the summer, straight back or not he/she is gonna be my baby x3 im soooo excited >:D

  • Wonderful looking German Shepard. You are so lucky to have such a wonderful compainion by your side. I loved this video, she really trusts you. I love police dogs, the bond between partners is so powerful.

  • that dog dog is slow

  • When the dog was put into the black car, would he have needed a command to jump out and assist his handler like that? What I mean is I know they have a guarding instinct but would have have had to wait for a command or could he think for himself? Cool vid btw!

  • jackrogers if your GSD is 46 kg, it is FAT, FAT, FAT!!!!! and surprisingly, the larger majority of GSD's with the slanted backs as you so eloquently called them are cleared for HD as well as being elbow scored. So there. Na, na, na, na na.

  • @jmrapley They might be cleared for HD but they should not be used i think, they'r meant for the show side of dogs not working! I think you need to go and read up about GSD's and where they come from and what they looked like, because the first ones around had straight backs and were bred for working!

Also 46kg GSD is NOT FAT at all ! I've got one that's just turned 1yrs old and his 45kgs and there ant no fat on him at all (only muscles) n hes alot quicker than that dog and can keep up a pace!

  • The more I see of police k-9 units, the better I like them.. American law enforcement, after so many years, have learned European law enforcement countries on the value of K-9 units.. Fewer police officers would be injured.. I call this pure 'canine martial arts'..!

  • LOL!!!

  • GO replace those dogs with Rottweilers :D

  • @magicta3rees actually they do have a couple of them, i live close to where they filmed this

  • your GSD slow coz it has bad hips with the slanted back its probly going to get hip displayser my GSD ways 46 kg and he can run at 35 mph

we were in the car and he was next to us we doing 35 lol

  • @jackrogers123456 A German shepherds at a high of about 27 mph and a trot of 22 mph. You should let all us cops know where we can get a super shepherd like yours.

He is 9 now and his hips are just fine, but thanks for your concern and intelligent comment.

  • @mischakaya

Most young police dogs will be able to sprint at up to around 33-35 mph, yours probably could too when he was younger. The real difficulty is a high sustained speed, and most of that is stamina training.

I used to help a policeman I knew train his dog, I used a high speed RC hobby car to get the dog interested - And making a RC car co at 30 mph offroad is just as difficult as it is for the Dog to do it.

The dog *loved* it though, just like hunting hares or rabbits.

  • @mischakaya Not to be rude... but he has a point at at least one thing. Showline German Shepherds shouldn't and aren't meant to be used used to do work. They are meant to look 'pretty' and walk around in a neat circle. Their hind legs and whole body structure just isn't best suited for it. But its not the dogs fault D: its the breeders.. I like the quote "Once you stop breeding a German Shepherd for work, you stop breeding a German Shepherd." Its the truth.. :/

  • @jackrogers123456 Thats dog isnt slow ... Its the video that makes it look slow , you can see its not slow at 0:30 - 0:35

  • lol that was funny when you put him in the Truck and he popped his head out to check on you and you pointed and gave command and he ducked back in. That is a well trained Officer. And both the same for you as well. Good job man.

  • Im not sure what the song is, but the bands name is Dope.

  • whats the name of the song?

  • I have a doberman and she weighs 105 110 and she is twice as fast as your dog... not trying to be a dick

  • @SuperZack12345

Zack, your just being honest!! He is a great dog, but one of the slowest that I have worked. Its not his drive, he is just slow!!!

  • @mischakaya I love dogs no matter what

  • @SuperZack12345 hey never mind how fast your dog runs, how fast can YOU run? As fast as his dog??

    Didnt think so!

    Very nice GSD buddy!

    thumbs up from me

  • @webleybulldog455 how fast can I run ?? Faster than your fat ass will ever Run in your life ... PEACE

  • @SuperZack12345 This from someone with videos of a window licker banging their head off a door?? Sorry I didnt know Usain Bolt lived in Canada! My bad, speedy!

  • @SuperZack12345 Does it really matter how fast the dog is? I know it helps when they are fast, but once that dog catches you (and it will) its gonna sink its teeth into your ass

  • but the best doberman :)

  • I'm turkish police man . this dog very good.

  • uspca is a joke, no points its either pass or fail

  • I have a Belgian Malinois and he is my baby. I'm fourteen and this is my brother's profile but I look at these types of videos. Anyways... Yeah this is the type of thing that makes me wonder if i will continue to train dogs with my family or Be a k-9 handler with the p.d.'s. My boy finds drugs and does the bites with mondoe (not sure how to spell that) and shutzen (that either) styles. This dog is beautiful btw.

  • I love this! thats great training and team work, I loved when the dog was redirected, showed great control and smarts, and when the man helped the dog over the obsticle it was like they were in sink! LOVEE IT

  • I am so biased, when it comes to GSD's...I'm part of that generation who watched tv during the 50's, when the little boy. Rusty, would say,'Yo, Rinty!'..That scene is what I refer to as 'canine martial arts'..Excellent book I bought is called, 'Wonder Dogs'; the 105 movies, with GSD's as film stars..Check it out, you'd like it..

  • i was amazed i want my lazy shepherd to do all of that.... one smart, fast, streamline dog.... do you know where i can find training for a shepherd mix in ohio like that?

  • Honestly, I thought the dog could've been a little more intense on the sleeve.

  • I am working to be a K9 handler, and I love this video great team work both you and your k9 partner display is awsome. I especially love the focus at :30 how the dog was ready to engage and then redirected down the field...great work all around !!!!

    Stay safe out there.

  • I have GS he's name is Ben......that dude is crazy hahaha but in positive way ofc......that dog on video is too slow for him.......

  • my dog can cross that foot ball feild twice as fast :)

  • @350fordchick

Ya, I know my dog at 100 lbs is slow. But what will your dog do once it gets there???

  • probly jump up on my then run around in circles :O lol

  • great dog

  • the name of the song?tanks!

  • I have the same dog - Max - 45 kg.

  • agresif dog

  • I think this dog is alittle bit heavy

  • He is. He weighs 95 LBS. Not fat but just a big dog. Wish he would never have gotten ocer 80-85.

  • to everyone that doesn't know what it is, it's a long coat gsd and i know cause my dog is crossed with one just watch my vid of him.

  • genial, quiero un perro de esos....

  • Canadian Shepherd is just another word for White German Shepherd.

  • Thats a good dog ;)

  • does anyone know where this dog comes from? I am curious about his bloodline, and breeder?!

If anyone knows something, or can give me a tip about the name or so, please contact me or drop me a message in my profile!!! Thanks in advance guys!!

  • that can be one of three things, German Sheppard , Canadian Sheppard, or Belgian Sheppard. google them and see which one you like.

  • It's a german Sheppard, you can easily tell because of the way he looks but i was curious about the bloodlines but he already emailed me:)

  • yeah, but dude google belgian or canadian sheppard, they are soooo cool looking, ones all black while the other is completely white.

  • not completely true, Acctually the belgian sheperd malinois is brown, the belgian sheperd Groenendaal is black alright...

  • dude which line is the gsd from??

  • jeremycrosser, it's an german shepherd.

    ~vid0wnz

  • if you read closer you can see i already found the answers, and offcourse it's obvious that is a longcoat GSD, but i was wondering of which bloodline he is

  • 0:30 wie geil

  • that dog kicks ass...

  • wow they kick ass

  • Thats a beutifull german shepherd.

I dont really think she is slow at all, but i dont know much about that.. =)

  • that is COOL

  • I absolutely love the police K-9 units! My favorite of any part of the force!

  • Impressive, most impressive

  • Kick ass dog

  • wow

  • So these are only Sentry Dogs and not Bomb or Drug dogs?

  • i wana same this germany shipered :( how much it cost me

  • it range from 500 and up i got mine for $1000

  • @ 0:58 oh my god! i really love that move

  • that's cool! does the police dog know the difference between the people with the padding and the real bad guys? or does he just do his job so he gets a treat?

  • bcz German Shepards train more easy than pitbull and German Shepards are cleaver more than pitbulls

  • i wonder how long does it takes to train a good listening dog like that...and how come they dont train pitbulls?

  • It takes years to train a police dog. You'll see some out working the streets at only a year or two old, but you'll probably notice that they aren't as "good" as an older dog.

  • Cause german shepards are smarter

  • Nice long haired GS

  • WOW German Shepards are amazingly Beautiful...but great dogs!!!

  • @horse354 The dog in this vid is a malinois, but then in the ''long hair'' form (sorry for my bad english)

  • How old was he when you started training him? I'm assuming you used a trainer through your department? I got a late start on my 10 month old GSD but she's doing better than I was expecting. Thanks for the video.

  • good song

  • Very nice dog.. Horrible decoys

  • Very cool! Is that Glencoe High School? Looks like it.

  • @statementz no thats not glencoe...

  • The music makes it annoying to watch, but otherwise good stuff.

  • You don't have a door pop?

  • Yes but the dog loses 1 1/2 seconds because the way they have to jump out. So for the trials we try not to use it...

  • at 2:08-2:21 tht dogs gangsta!

  • Cool Music, super Work !

    Greetings from the German K9

    Baden-Württemberg/Germany

  • what song is that and that german shepherd is fast

  • buen video

  • man it must be the best to work with a k9 dog huh...

  • I love this song who's it by and whats it called!

  • Beautiful LCGSD.

  • bit... slow...

  • Yes I know, but at 46 I thought I was doing a pretty good job trying to catch up to my dog!!!

  • what song is that?

  • Its Move it by Dope

  • obviously this shepherd is beautiful.......but needs to be faster than....other shepherds i have seen in bite work are very very fast....

  • so beautiful!!

  • that german shepherd is fast :0

  • aww its the combine for DOGGIES!!

  • The dog wasn't as fast as i'd hoped... maybe i just dont have a good point of reference but w/e.

  • Your partner is overweight.

  • Yes I know, that is why I have a K-9!!

  • Beautiful Sheperd you have there.

  • PART 2:

People call American born Shepherds (German Shepherds) but they are not and they look & act different. Mischa is a long haired GERMAN Shepherd FROM GERMANY. And it doesn't get any purer then that.

  • The long hair German shepherd is not a separate breed. And no one other then the breeders of long hairs and some of the people that have them consider them a separate breed. In Europe they tend to put them down as soon as they show signs of having the long hair. Some consider it to be a fault in the breed. Obviously I am not one of those people. Mischa is not a show dog but a working police K-9, his looks have never been an issue with me or the departments that he worked with.

  • It is a recessive gene. My dog out of a litter of 8 pure bred GSD's was the only one with the long hair. He is a true long hair with no under coat, they also will kick out a plush, which has semi long hair and an under coat. And by the way what the heck is a Sheppard????

  • Best dog ever

  • the dog was great at what he did but no disrespect he could be a lot faster and all german sheperds look like there hind legs are broken thats what disabled him from running as fast as he could if his legs where not slouched thats why alot of poeople dont use german sheperds as agility dog

  • but that's not a german shepherd. its a belgian shepherd =]

  • That dog is awesome. These guys have no idea how lucky they are to work with such finely tuned killing machines. Any nerd that thinks they can outrun a dog is in denial! What a prat! Ive seen a GSD bring a 6foot 16 stone dude down in seconds. What amazing animals, and how lucky we are to have such amazing dogs working for the good guys.

  • Humans can't outrun dogs. Simple as that. Maybe an olympic sprinter could outrun a poodle, but the fastest human will never be able to outrun the fastest dog. There's a reason that cops use dogs to pursue suspects who are trying to run away... anyone who thinks they can outrun a prime k9 unit is a fucking retard and deserves to get their arm ripped to shreds. Enjoy it.

  • More like an olympic sprinter could outrun a Pug!! lol

  • God bless you! hehe

  • Very good dog!

Is there anyone who knows this song?

  • Very good dog, I think he could run a bit faster though! (No disrespect intended) Out of curiousity do you know of any police forces that use Doberman Pinscers?

  • r u insane he just ran a football field in 11 seconds

  • Slow ass dog and horrible music, jesus christ.

  • Thanks for sharing your wisdom and knowledge of dogs and music.

The day one of you scroatbags can out run my dog, come talk to me.

Also for future reference when you come back to this video, turn your speakers off.

    Thanks for the comment!!!

  • The next Lopez he eats will make sure we are playing some Julio Iglesias..

  • Wow, so sad the best reply you could craft was racist. And no problem for sharing my superior wisdom and knowledge mischakaya. I I'll outrun and disable your dog any day mischakaya.

  • Boy not only are you extremely smart with your superior wisdom, your Super Human and can out run a dog. Boy I knew some fast PuertoRicans in my day but that is fast..

  • I'll tell you what, you come up here, we have some papers for you to sign and we will send the dog after you. Of course you wont have a suit on and I have to worn you - you lose points for crap'en on the field.

Don't play the race card with me bro, next time if you don't have anything intelligent to say don't say anything at all. Mischa has caught many of criminals who cried like a baby so one more wouldn't be a problem.

  • What does Jesus have to do with this???

  • he is a very nice boy but i think he need to loose some weight....!!

  • Is that common practice in USPCA trials to present a big bulky sleeve like that in trial? Are there muzzle attacks?

  • @rebeccamosenthal

The muzzle is where its at for sure. The true test of a k9's ability to make contact with a mad thats not wearing equipment. refreshing to see your comment!

  • awesome Im assuming german shepherd right? Nice coat.

  • Thank you very much!!! He is a long coated German Shepherd. All his litter mates had normal coats.

You can see photos of him at

    myspace . com / sentinelshepherds

  • oh i'm sorry, long-coated GSD? i honestly thought those were just belgian shepherds. i better crack out the books again

  • Did he place?

  • Yes he did. He got one gold and two bronze and tied second overall. The K-9 trial that we attended had some great dogs so he did pretty good!
