For these animations pencil, paper(many of them) and a light-box is used for drawing the frames. Then taken in to the computer with a video camera and a line test software. (listed 3 in a comment below)

Hey I've been wanting to do these pencil animations similar to yours, but I'm not too sure how to compile all the frames. Like, did you scan each onto a computer and throw them onto some program like flash, or do you actually have special equipment ur meant to use?

At school we have cameras with some special lenses (so that straight lines wont look a little rounded) I think, but a camcorder/webcam will do fine(a scanner could work as well, but it takes longer time (even though you get higher quality. Could be good for final/cleaned up animations.)..some still cameras could be used as well) and a line test application(a stop-motion app could be used as well) is what's needed.
