thank you for the VERY useful video. yours is one of the only one of the few resources that actually define a threshold that defines a the difference between good and bad. Because of this you need to be very careful about what you tell people is good or bad or you will get thousands of people throwing away the battery prematurely. One site I can across claimed that you can use it up to 30% which means 1.05 volts would be the threshold. I'm not sure what it is but you may be too high.
@rader55555, glad you like the video. I found the threshold number on a few different web sites when I Googled it. I've saved a lot of batteries with this general guideline. I agree that people should experiment with the numbers. Especially if the batteries are in something very low power like a remote, the batteries can still work under the threshold.
@tomek123kotek try using your lowest VDC setting. Maybe you have a 20 VDC setting. That should work. It is just a little more convenient if your multimeter has explicit battery testing settings.
