thanks Simon- been to Manas many times over the years- we passed very nearby in October- downstream into Chiwore is a real treat- equally unspoilt/more difficult access/perhaps less game(hunting area so is a bit twitchy too)/fishing is simply awesome
I would love a copy of the story - my email is jpearce59@gmail.com
Thank you very much for your comments. I hope you enjoyed it as much as I did. I think once touched by Mana, you are changed for life, for the better. Sadly old Slot, the ele in the video passed away this year. I can forward you a story I wrote about him if you wish. Kind regards, simon
The most stunning place on earth. And I had the privilege of growing up with all of that! My dad has a safari company and I grew up on the Zambezi river!!

Awesome! Beautiful to see the respect for nature in this video! I certainly hope that you have submitted this to the Travel Channel. OMG! Would love to watch a series of your travels on tv. Thank you for posting your videos.
Vintage Simon Reeve - always the great story teller - makes we want to head back into the bush again. By the way next month off to Phinda - 20 years since it started back in 1990.
