Great job!! Personally I think Peter Davison's theme is the best (but then again I grew up on him, thus he's my Doctor). But Matt Smith's theme is my second favorite, and you guys did a FANTASTIC job. His theme would definitely be easier to do on violin I would think,compared to Davison, Baker or even Pertwee/Troughton,because those themes all used Synthesizers and no orchestra at all. But I'm sure there are musicians that could put those to the test.The Picture in Picture is fantastic as well.

out of curiosity... is the fact that you look kinda like matt smith as the doctor in this video (mostly the hair and bowtie) on purpose, or was it a rather subconscious decision? its just barely similar enough to either be an extremely well done case of subtlety, or just plain not a conscious decision (which is still awesome).

Hi, Didn't mean to offend anyone, but just found the dress a bit distracting from the amazing elegance of the superb violin playing and excellent arrangement of the 'Who' theme. Sorry. I have not seen Dr. Who much since Tom Baker, so wasn't aware of the bow-tie being in style. And really, clothing is not trivial on a vid!  It is sort of 50% of the total? i've been playing violin for 6 years and im wondering what positions you were using (I'm looking at the music as the video plays)

@icecreamichelle hmm...well for the big shift in the 1st part I went from D string 1st position to A string 7th position, shifting back down to 3rd position D string. The rest is just going between 3rd and 1st positions, and the fingering I did on the runs was 123412123 going from A to E strings. After that, 1st to 3rd positions....... The other 2 parts I just went between 1st and 3rd positions wherever it sounded good. I hope that helps o_o
