Hello. I just subed based upon your honest comments & basic breakdown of it all. I live in CALI & it is hard to get one of those here. Also, I do have like 27 handguns already & its kind of hard to justify getting another one. I would consider it sort of a toy to be worked on & develop my smithing skills. Please Check out my humble channel. Thanks. Sincerely, JAMES.
Not to be negative or anything(becase I'm not a negative person) but the highpoint is pretty lightweight compared to my Rossi .38 long barrel revolver. It weighs 2 lbs and i love it because heavy guns reduces recoil . I'm planning on getting a hipoint within a month. So look out for my video.. ; ) always remember gun are not toys, so treat everyone like its loaded. Besafe and shoot that High point!!!
Most people that review the Hi-Point guns say that they are too heavy and not easy to conceal. The Sig P239 is 29.5 oz unloaded and ways more than the Hi-Point c9 and cf380.
I have a Hi-Point c9 for 8years. I never had any problems with except bad ammunition. It still fires when I take it to the range. Shot over thousands thousands rounds through it. I used to CCW for awhile until I collected other firearms. But this guns stays in a Get Home Bag in my vehicle if I dont have my G23 with me or something happens while Im away from my home. Nice video and good review.
You are wrong about the weight, the High-Point C9 9mm weighs 29 ozs unloaded, not 13 ozs, a big difference. In fact, it is one of the heaviest 9mm handguns out there.
@glailaj It is perfectly fine for a home defense gun if you are on a budget. For about 300 or so you could get a ruger p95 but it's twice the cost of the c9
21 ounces

I Just shot my new Hi-Point C9. It shot flawlessly, with no jams. I don't understand why this is such a controversial weapon.

Cool! What are more pros to this gun as a home protection gun? Would you recommend it as a starter gun for the house or not?
