This one is a little Brian Wilsonish...kinda like that Beach Boys album that used all that reverb...love it...very different for Paul McCartney... Must've been hangin' out in Scotland kinda lookin' out at a great big cold ass locke and ... and .... I dunno where he was when he wrote this...pretty cool stuff...take some time to digest it. Then I bet I'll love it...like " The Violent Femmes" et. al.

Reminds me of the Walker Brothers, "The Sun Aint Gonna Shine Anymore." I like how he overdubs his own voice with backing vocals. I can almost here an Ian McCulloch, Echo & the Bunnymen, influence on the vocals, and the lush instrumentation.
