I have nothing against vaccines. I know they work. However, when i see vaccines being pushed to people by the same people that makes a lot of money from them, through a propaganda machine that is politically run, it is my duty to take the propaganda claims with a grain of salt.

Rejecting vaccines is a very dangerous public hazard that affects everyone, even those who are vaccinated.
Perhaps instead of taking a political stand, take an evidence-based, scientific stand first.
The first thing you need to be sure in the first time is wether what they are selling you as a vaccine is indeed a vaccine, and also wether it has no harmful substances added.

I think it's healthy to be skeptical about what we take into our bodies and to do teh due diligence. I realize companies are going to tell us what we want to hear, but they are required to divulge what they give us; it's up to us to scientifically determine if it's truly healthy and effective. I think vaccines are safe and necessary. :)

First, it's the HIV virus, not "the AIDS virus."
The Polio vaccine had a crippled polio virus in it. The smallpox vaccine had the Cowpox virus in it, and so on.
And yes, if the HIV vaccine were effective in the classical sense, it would have a crippled version of the HIV, or similar, virus in it; however a person cannot be immunized to HIV because HIV is really fast at changing its chemical receptors.

In the case of vaccines, i know they work. What i am skeptic about is wether what they are selling are indeed vaccines, or some worthless product looking for a market.

@fernbap Sounds like we're on the same page. I do think corporations are in it primarily for profit, though I don't think that's their only purpose in life. I think it's healthy to be skeptical about what we take into our bodies and to do teh due diligence. I realize companies are going to tell us what we want to hear, but they are required to divulge what they give us; it's up to us to scientifically determine if it's truly healthy and effective. I think vaccines are safe and necessary. :)

In fact, there is a small percentage of people who fail to produce certain antibodies at all, in spite of the vaccinations. For whatever reason, their body just didn't respond to the vaccine, so they THINK they are protected but they are not. That's why the concept of 'herd immunity" is so important. YOUR immunization can help protect OTHER people from the spread of disease, because it reduces the number of potential carriers. BTW, if you're over 40, consider getting a pertussis booster.

It does not PREVENT infection, per se, it merely helps your body react quicker and more strongly. It is still possible for a high viral load exposure (ie, sick kids coughing on each other), coupled with a congenitally weak immune system, to allow a vaccinated person to contract disease.

No, the DRUG was prone to have HIV because it was made FROM HUMAN PLASMA which is in BLOOD. First, it's the HIV virus, not "the AIDS virus."
The Polio vaccine had a crippled polio virus in it. The smallpox vaccine had the Cowpox virus in it, and so on.
And yes, if the HIV vaccine were effective in the classical sense, it would have a crippled version of the HIV, or similar, virus in it; however a person cannot be immunized to HIV because HIV is really fast at changing its chemical receptors.

The Jehovah's Witnesses forbid whole blood transfusions (but not fractions thereof) based upon Acts 15:29, part of which contains a reference to Genesis 9:4, 5 about eating animal blood. They then claim that the Acts passage refers to human blood. Even if you were to allow that interpretation, transfusion still isn't consumption of blood, and therefore doesn't count.
