Nice vid, me and my brother farm about 7000 acres and we got 5000 of that into corn this year, we run 2 8530 john deeres with 24row jd ccs planters. But no matter what color, or number of acres, or any of that just remember we have the best job in the world. Good luck to you and always have fun.
Best job in the world is right. I couldn't be happy doing anything else. Thanks for the folks who post this stuff, and thank you farmers for doing what you do!
Very nice video. Conditions look great there, we can't get a break around here. Every time it dries up enough to start it rains the next day. Keep up the good work.
Yes, the other one has interplant, so it will be our soybean machine. If the season were late like last year, we would be running it on corn too, but right now it looks like we'll be done soon enough.
now that is real flex!!
thanks lance..

I forgot to ask, are you guys running on CORS?
DFarms001 2 years ago
No. That tractor is on OmniStar XP
mx270a 2 years ago
Ok then, I did not realize XP was accurate enough to plant without markers.
DFarms001 2 years ago
You guys are going to really like that planter. Whenever we switched from a 16 row in 2005 it was amazing how much more you could get done.
DFarms001 2 years ago
We like the 24 row part. Not so in love with the hydraulic drive variable rate part.
mx270a 2 years ago
Yeah, the those are not very popular around here.

cool video nice MX and Kinze setup ;) how wet is it up there? here in central illinois nobody has gotten into the fields yet

Soil conditions were perfect when we started a week ago, and are almost too dry now. We could use an inch of rain.
mx270a 2 years ago
Wow where in Iowa? Northern Iowa? We need about a week of good dry weather before anyone can really get going.

Eastern IA. Near Cedar Rapids.
