do i hear "to the stars"?!?! I love that song. you have a remix of it. but still okay. thanks for the vid. i didn't know what leave-in conditioner was until this video. thanks again.
i have really curly hair so i straighten it, if i was wondering that if i use the leavin in conditioner method wit hwatter i think it will make it curly again, :p any alternatives from the water?
thank youuuuu! I need to take more vitamins.. Fruit is easy for me lol Im a fruit junky. I should work on the water a little more I do alot of Tea >.< its not bad, but water work a little better huh. Anyway thank you very much for informational video.. I am trying to grow my hair out so I am afraid to cut it. Should I just do it a little bit like a small trim?
I put shampoo and conditioner in my hair every morning while I shower, so I'm not sure if I should keep my Conditioner in my hair for a longer period of time because I just rub it in then rinse off as soon as I'm done. :P
How did you get your side bangs (when you were in the yellow shirt) to curve to the side like that?? My hair is pin straight, and I cannot get them to curve like that T_T.
I'm good then. I banned heat products what so ever (I let my hair air dry), don't wash my hair every day so the natural oils have plenty of time to come back and moisturize my locks, always use leave in conditioner (and CHI silk infusion) and if I'm going to be out under the sun for long I spray my hair with heat protectant.
okay so heres my biggest quesiton, when you put conditioner on after shampoo, how well do you rinse it off? cuz its all slimy and slippery on my hair so i rinse thoroughly until theres no bubbles in the puddle beneath me in the shower, but then i feel my hair goes back to normal, not soft at all. so how well do we actually rinse? i mean, if i rinsed a little, and my hair is still soft and "slimy" not really slimy, and let my hair dry, will it be all sticky after?
when i put in conditioner after shampooing i leave it in for about 5-10 mins and then i rinse it in cold water! yur hair feels super soft afterwards=] hope tht works!
My health teacher told me that heating olive oil destroys the structure or something so it doesn't work as well. She was talking about when you ingest it, but do you think maybe it wouldn't work as well for hair either?
I have a question, I heard that if you leave baby oil in your hair for 10-20 mins it will make your hair healthier, but do I wash it out afterwards? Thanks!
Will the bottle of oil explode if you leave the cap closed? O_o
Idk, I just come from a family where "Don't stand in front of the microwave while popcorn is cooking! You could die!" and "Oi! Don't touch that! What if it blows up in your face?!" is normal. =P
when you leave the oil thing...bottle of...ya know lolz. idk what its called but the oil thing in the hair. Do you wash it out with a regular shampoo?
Another, easy way to get healthy hair is to shower with warm (not hot because hot strips the folicle) and rince with cold (as cold as you can stand). It sounds stupid but thats how I get my hair to behave
Is it really okay to take prenatal vitamins if you're not pregnant?! I mean, I've considered doing it, but i'm still a bit iffy about it. I wouldn't want it to interfere with my health or my ability to make children. Have you researched about those vitamins before beginning to take them?
@mserikaalynn taken them for 2 years..and I'm fine. I don't want kids EVER so I really don't care about the side effects with having kids. YES I have done the research ..description box has a blog...
@mserikaalynn I've known several friends that take prenatal vitamins and most of them to grow out their hair longer and healthier. There's nothing wrong with taking them. It just higher amounts of vitamins in them. :]
Prenatals are a combo of normal vitamins that are helpful to pregnant women, but are also helpful to non-preggers as well. Read the label, you'll see, there's no junk in there that's *only* for pregnant women. I would recommend taking an all-natural supplement that draws its nutrients from food, as the body recognizes these more readily and therefore absorbs them better. A good one that I use is from Garden of Life, Raw Prenatals. You can find them on Amazon.com.
i love your nails i really highly request a video on how you get your nails so long and strong i love it please please please make a video on how to make your nails long i know you use the prenatal vitamins but is thier any thing else you do to get your nails so nice
Actually, we were expiramnting in class, bottled water ISNT always the best for your hair, or your body, and ofcourse, the enviroment. Infact, they just add minerals which dont really have a signifigant impact on you, so save a buck or two and use tap water :) i mean, its purified and everything FOR you annd its free!
@unsia Actually, tap water contains tape worms and drinking too much of it can let these worms get inside your body and allow them to grow in your intestines. Once they are big enough, they will eventually start eating their way through your intestines. Tape worms can only be removed either through surgery or through the "exit". And by "exit", I mean the doctor has to take them out through the butt. I'm not trying to freak anyone out, I'm just stating what I learned in class.
@starrynight3211 so now one should ever drink water and we should all die?
thats only in like places in europe or africa places near there. not canada or U.S. and if there was a tape worm in your water...you would no..and the only way there would be a tape worm is if that water had been in COW POO or something.
@starrynight3211 You have most likely completely misunderstood whatever source you have received this information from. This may potentially be a concern in developing countries, not so much in developed nations. Just pointing this out so younger kids aren't now afraid of using the water in their homes =)
UMM.. tape worms in ur tap water? no... that wld depent on were u live! hahaha thats so funny to me!!! there is alot of things in OUR (as in mine) but not tape worms.. bt i use a filter ne way but just making a point that u may have tape worms were u live so dnt asume we all do...
I Always buy and will recommend to anyone to use bottled water to A. damp some cotton wool balls to wash your face. B. When you do spritz your hair to damp it or in this case a homemade haircare product, you should try when you can afford it to use decent ingredients. Bottled water is under £1 &Good Quailty always shows. You shouldn't always go for the Free option, with everything or you'll be picking trash off the street soon.
Oy!!! I have the same problem....i dyed my hair too much so now...my hair is loosing and getting extremely thin....I have this nightmare of getting bald TT TT
Any reason why you have to tie up your hair in a bun after the leave in conditioner? I have pretty short hair and it's difficult to get into a bun. Any suggestions? C:
I tried the olive oil and all it did was make my hair really greasy. I only noticed this when I dried my hair so I went to clean it out and then, because I'd used up all the hot water I had to use freezing cold water.
My hair is now really ichy and I have a migrane. :-l
NONE of them work? Oh shucks, I should just quit now while I am ahead.
LOL your mishap is actually an example of a lot of beauty disasters. U have a migraine from the cold water not the the olive oil. You should have shampooed it out!!!! That would not make it greasy. I always shampoo my hair after olive oil treatment. I can't put it in the description box because it was too long. I'll write a more in depth blog just in case no one makes the same mistake. Remember to always do your research
Personally I hate Tresseme, all it did was damage my hair and make it into a damaged puff ball since it has Sodium Laureth Sulfate which just is a death trap on my hair.
But Cabellina Conditioner I will personally try since its ingredients seem good for my hair and my lotion is by the same brand which I would recommend for anyone ^^
Pantene makes you break out? I never noticed it myself but I break out alot to the point I can't use any acne product in existance (every drug store brand, Spectro, Proactiv, etc) and recently I found out that if I just use simple homemade remedies most of my acne would clear up.
Another odd thing is that I cannot use the same shampoo for more than 2 weeks or else is stops working for my hair nearly 100% which could be why Tresseme went south for me
yea there is something in it that makes my clores plug up like mad!! yeah simpler products makes my face clear up much better. I just sue a simple face wash, organic toners and bp. Other than that I can't use any of the 123 step the higher end brands offers.
Yeah I remember how much of a nightmare proactiv was after I decided that I should stop listening to everyone who was saying it was helping and listen to myself...lets just say the large pimple that took up my whole cheek bone on either side was the worst experience I ever had in my life...took over 4 years of work just to get it so most of the scars from it were gone...
omg I tried that stuff and it was awesome! It made my hair grow so much thicker, fuller and helped with growing it out longer in less time! btw it's for both human and animal use :) it's good, it's good heehee ^^
Haha true. I was more in awe of your sacrificing your hair's health for the video. I really disliked the teased look so no rocker chic weekend hairstyle for me - if I ever feel the need to, I'll buy a bump-it.
Do you tease your hair a lot or just for special occassions? :)
great video!! so helpful, i have thick hair too, so this really helped, thnx! ^.^ ...I'm just wondering, for the contest, how do you take a snapshot on a PC??
wow sooo excited for the sewing tuts. Its weird how you read my mind, I always think hmmm how would i do that and you post a video and I am going to get my hair cut this weekend as it is soo dry and awful. This video was very helpful. Thanks.
it's okay to do an olive oil treatment it gives thin hair some extra shine and body..just let the oil be so hot.........your flat ironing is much worse than olive oil that has be in the micro for less than 30 secs.
o hey when u said about damping ur hair wif warm water and use conditioner and roll up in a bun does that mean u do that after shampoo or when u start washing ur hair?
do this separately from washing your hair. I just randomly come home form work one day and just put in condish and then check my emails. It's deep conditioning.
this is very relative to the person. I am not telling u to do all of these in a day. I do the conditioning on monday, the olive olive oil on a thurs day and the sprits sparingly. I can do this because I have really thick hair..if u hair i thinner then spread it out in two week.
no, a leave in conditioner is different from a regular one . a regular one is one you massage it through your hair a rinse off a leave-in one is one you LEAVE IN for a number of desired time-minutes- hope this helps-*-*-*-*-*- I may be wrong.<_.<
its a conditioner that you put on your hair after you get out of the shower. You leave it on and let your hair dye with it :) sunsilk makes a lot of them
the thing with prenatal vitamins is that you have to eat something when you take it. if you take it alone you will get a headache. but than again maybe that's just me. as for getting hairy-no I didn't get hairy. my hair and nails did seem a bit longer. but like I said it could just be me. everyones body is different.
a lot of women get sick from taking prenatal vitamins, i'd recommend taking fish oil. it is VERY good for your nails and your hair. also, remember... it doesnt mean that JUST the hair on your head will be thicker if you take prenatal vitamins. if you know what i mean :] better stock up on razors, tweezers, thread, and hair removal cream!
LOL, actually you'll be surprised. the hair on your arm and else -_- is grown differently. so there might be an increase in thickness, but nothing you would need a weed wacker for LOL
Omg i thought i was weird taking Pvitamin and I'm not pregnant nor planning to be pregnant. But I really don't notice a difference in my hair. I have very thin hair but i still take it because i notice that i get more energized when i take them.
taking prenatal vitamins if you are not pregnant is not bad. my doctor gave me some prenatal vitamins for free and I'm not pregnant. they just contain folic acid.
exactly! they can not only make pregnant women ill, but they can make you ill as well. both my mother and my sister refused to let me take them when i was pregnant because of how sick they were when they took them!
Yes agree it can make pregnant women ill..but at the same time some studies have mentioned it could be flawed because of "morning sickness" being a factor they can't control in tests.
I take prenatals all of the time. I use organic vegan prenatal vitmans and don't have a problem. When I was pregnant, I did use prescription for awhile, but they made me sick. Vegan vitamins are best because they are absorbed into your body faster since your body doesn't have to break down any synthetic chemicals.
Pvitamns has alot more folic acid in it which promotes healthy hair growth. Most of those "hair growing" vitamins has the same amount of substance as the Pvitamins but a bit more expensive. It is not bad to take it if you are not pregnant. Whatever nutrients your body can't absorb you usually will filter it out.
yeah, but first your body absorbs the vitamins, then pees out the extra...but what exactly do the prenatal vitamins contain compared to normal vitamins? dont prenatal vitamins contain homrones to help preggo women?
no they have vitamins that help preggo women, they have regular vits such as a multivit but just a little higher in dosage. and as for absorption..everything is absorb in your body so absorption is okay it doesn't hurt you unless it gets put into use.....
I am really really swamped with this so the rose clay video will have to wait. Keep in mind that my hair videos are done once a week..so I only tease once a week and that is usually on a friday (I don't do it every day LOL). Just use it on the tips. If your hair is already nice and moisturize..don't use any of these tips.
do i hear "to the stars"?!?! I love that song. you have a remix of it. but still okay. thanks for the vid. i didn't know what leave-in conditioner was until this video. thanks again.

yea there is something in it that makes my clores plug up like mad!! yeah simpler products makes my face clear up much better. I just sue a simple face wash, organic toners and bp. Other than that I can't use any of the 123 step the higher end brands offers.

Yeah I remember how much of a nightmare proactiv was after I decided that I should stop listening to everyone who was saying it was helping and listen to myself...lets just say the large pimple that took up my whole cheek bone on either side was the worst experience I ever had in my life...took over 4 years of work just to get it so most of the scars from it were gone...

thank you for your video! :)
is the shampoo must always be nutritive, if we have oily scalp?
isa13687 2 years ago

I have a question, so does the spray protect from heat? Can I use it as a protectant for heat?
Also, awsome video, i tried the conditioning and my hair feels awsome!:)
JagmeetS13 2 years ago
honestly I don't know the logistics of it protecting from heat..but I use it as a heat protectant and it seems to work great!

Just a question: I have natural extremly oily hair, and even after i wash it it goes oily very fast. Is there anyway to stop this?
RiraSkyify 2 years ago
erm if i spray the mixture of conditioner, water and olive oil into my hair. will it smells?
eLiCiALiN11 2 years ago
like your conditioner..don't put too much olive oil..distill it with water..the more liquid the less it will feel oily in u're hair..
SecretLifeOfaBioNerd 2 years ago
erm does treatment conditioner work??
eLiCiALiN11 2 years ago
Haha true. I was more in awe of your sacrificing your hair's health for the video. I really disliked the teased look so no rocker chic weekend hairstyle for me - if I ever feel the need to, I'll buy a bump-it.
Do you tease your hair a lot or just for special occassions? :)
kagnomi 2 years ago
once a week usually during fridays!

emilyhale27 2 years ago
yeah do u put the conditioner first before washing ur hair with shampoo?? or idk! LOL :)
10azangel10 2 years ago
I shampoo to get gunk off my hair and then I condish.
SecretLifeOfaBioNerd 2 years ago
ok thnx!! i was doing it vice verse!! LOL! :)
10azangel10 2 years ago
apparently if you have thinner hair, you should avoid using olive oil on it, because it can burn the hair.
loved the video tho :)
lilpinkbuttercup 2 years ago
it's okay to do an olive oil treatment it gives thin hair some extra shine and body..just let the oil be so hot.........your flat ironing is much worse than olive oil that has be in the micro for less than 30 secs.
SecretLifeOfaBioNerd 2 years ago
o hey when u said about damping ur hair wif warm water and use conditioner and roll up in a bun does that mean u do that after shampoo or when u start washing ur hair?
WeTSeAl211 2 years ago
do this separately from washing your hair. I just randomly come home form work one day and just put in condish and then check my emails. It's deep conditioning.
SecretLifeOfaBioNerd 2 years ago
o thxs for answering :D
WeTSeAl211 2 years ago
do u prefer conditioner first or shampoo first? O_O?
WeTSeAl211 2 years ago
sham first.

something u'll have to get over if you want to have rocking hair every weekend LOL
SecretLifeOfaBioNerd 2 years ago
if a person actually used that much hair conditioner, wouldn't the hair become really oily?
j3nnyz08 2 years ago
this is very relative to the person. I am not telling u to do all of these in a day. I do the conditioning on monday, the olive olive oil on a thurs day and the sprits sparingly. I can do this because I have really thick hair..if u hair i thinner then spread it out in two week.
SecretLifeOfaBioNerd 2 years ago
wait its bad to razor?! but you do it, can you do a video covering everything about razoring
itssnina 2 years ago
I said if you can avoid it...then you must..but if choose the coolness of your hair then ey razor away..just take better care of it other ways...
SecretLifeOfaBioNerd 2 years ago
what is a leave in conditioner? do you leave it in the whole day? o_o
annie14892 2 years ago
no, a leave in conditioner is different from a regular one . a regular one is one you massage it through your hair a rinse off a leave-in one is one you LEAVE IN for a number of desired time-minutes- hope this helps-*-*-*-*-*- I may be wrong.<_.<
chizzabeth 2 years ago
its a conditioner that you put on your hair after you get out of the shower. You leave it on and let your hair dye with it :) sunsilk makes a lot of them

well my mom and my sister never really sick during their pregnancies. so they wouldnt let me take them, for the fear of me being ill from it.
oxjuliaaaxo 2 years ago
the thing with prenatal vitamins is that you have to eat something when you take it. if you take it alone you will get a headache. but than again maybe that's just me. as for getting hairy-no I didn't get hairy. my hair and nails did seem a bit longer. but like I said it could just be me. everyones body is different.
presiosa07 2 years ago
I entered your contest and I hope I win! =)
zainabzee 2 years ago
a lot of women get sick from taking prenatal vitamins, i'd recommend taking fish oil. it is VERY good for your nails and your hair. also, remember... it doesnt mean that JUST the hair on your head will be thicker if you take prenatal vitamins. if you know what i mean :] better stock up on razors, tweezers, thread, and hair removal cream!
oxjuliaaaxo 2 years ago
LOL, actually you'll be surprised. the hair on your arm and else -_- is grown differently. so there might be an increase in thickness, but nothing you would need a weed wacker for LOL
SecretLifeOfaBioNerd 2 years ago
Omg i thought i was weird taking Pvitamin and I'm not pregnant nor planning to be pregnant. But I really don't notice a difference in my hair. I have very thin hair but i still take it because i notice that i get more energized when i take them.
marivilla7 2 years ago
taking prenatal vitamins if you are not pregnant is not bad. my doctor gave me some prenatal vitamins for free and I'm not pregnant. they just contain folic acid.
presiosa07 2 years ago
exactly! they can not only make pregnant women ill, but they can make you ill as well. both my mother and my sister refused to let me take them when i was pregnant because of how sick they were when they took them!
oxjuliaaaxo 2 years ago
Yes agree it can make pregnant women ill..but at the same time some studies have mentioned it could be flawed because of "morning sickness" being a factor they can't control in tests.
SecretLifeOfaBioNerd 2 years ago
I take prenatals all of the time. I use organic vegan prenatal vitmans and don't have a problem. When I was pregnant, I did use prescription for awhile, but they made me sick. Vegan vitamins are best because they are absorbed into your body faster since your body doesn't have to break down any synthetic chemicals.
dierdrelefae 2 years ago
Omg! Thankyou. O_O Im gonna go condition my hair now. x
LOoRaaROose 2 years ago
ok i got it :)
lemonly01 2 years ago
Thi is kind of a dumb question, but why prenatal? and isnt taking prenatal vitamins wehere your not preggo bad? I really would like to now :)
zephyrkimi 2 years ago
Pvitamns has alot more folic acid in it which promotes healthy hair growth. Most of those "hair growing" vitamins has the same amount of substance as the Pvitamins but a bit more expensive. It is not bad to take it if you are not pregnant. Whatever nutrients your body can't absorb you usually will filter it out.
SecretLifeOfaBioNerd 2 years ago
ok, thanks!
zephyrkimi 2 years ago
yeah, but first your body absorbs the vitamins, then pees out the extra...but what exactly do the prenatal vitamins contain compared to normal vitamins? dont prenatal vitamins contain homrones to help preggo women?
sudheshnam 2 years ago
no they have vitamins that help preggo women, they have regular vits such as a multivit but just a little higher in dosage. and as for absorption..everything is absorb in your body so absorption is okay it doesn't hurt you unless it gets put into use.....

When will you upload the fimo clay roses, or whatever it was? =(
And you tease in almost every hair video hehe.
Thanks for the leave-in conditioner but, my hair gets greasy very easily, can I still use it?
I know, lots of questions, but it was a lot of info as well =$
FUZ3TTE 2 years ago
I am really really swamped with this so the rose clay video will have to wait. Keep in mind that my hair videos are done once a week..so I only tease once a week and that is usually on a friday (I don't do it every day LOL). Just use it on the tips. If your hair is already nice and moisturize..don't use any of these tips.
