Everybody has been talking about how newer Disney has lost its touch. Some people are saying that they haven't and are still great. Well, I say stop complaining! I agree that Disney has lost it's touch, but I still enjoy watching movies like Tangled. Even if it isn't anywhere near as good as this movie. I mean I know true Disney is gone. But I'm ok with that because Disney will never be truly gone. It still exists. And it will live on! A true Disney fan would stop complaining and appreciate it.

Very seldom did I wish I was someone or something else. I never had idols (well maybe my dad), but I wasn't jealous of people. If I wanted something, I may have had to work a little longer or do it another way but knew I would. I never physically saw myself the way people did. Of course you wanted to be cute, didn't think I was but always liked what was in my heart. I still don't see what people see when I look in the mirror. That is what took me so long to figure out relationships /attraction
Okay I understand people want their childhood back but things change and sometimes you cant get those kinds of things back. I love my childhood and would love to have it back but I wont get it. Bambi and Simba taught me how to deal with lost, Cinderella taught me not to let people push me around, Mulan taught me that girls are just as good as boys, the fox and the hound taught me sometimes friendships end, Pocahontas taught me to respect all races,Ariel taught me sometimes you have to leave to reach your dreams, and pretty much every disney princess taught me my prince is out there i just have to find him.The OLD Disney raised me kids today dot have that DISNEY please bring it back
When I was little, Disney was Disney. Aladdin became a prince. Belle transformed the beast. Cinderella found her prince. Mulan saved China. Pocahontas saved John Smith. Hercules went the distance. Snow White's prince did come. Simba became king. Sleeping Beauty woke up. Quasimodo rang the bells. Ariel got her voice back. Tarzan swang through the jungle. Now Tiana kissed the frog. Perfect Disney. Disney Channel lives a lie. it's not Disney! It's not magic. RIP REAL Disney Spread the word.
My personal beleif is that if there is something you love most, even if it's not what the other teens are into. If you like things like Barney, why not watch? If you like old Disney movies, why not watch? I say we start a Disney revelution! boycott any other Disney shows. Watch these movies instead.
I'm 16. A lot of people my age are already drinking alcohol and smoking, and many have even lost their virginity. But not me. I'm the one sitting in on a Friday night watching the Little Mermaid, or Mulan, because Disney has taught me so much, and it has reminded me to always stay young at heart.

Ariel taught me to chase my dreams. Pocahontas taught to respect nature, others, and myself. Belle taught me to avoid being shallow, to think for myself. Mulan taught me to be brave. Esmeralda taught me to have compassion. And even today, at nearly twenty years old, I'm still learning from these songs. I still love these movies. There isn't anything shallow about or childish about them. In fact, I think a lot of adults could benefit from watching them.
@kayleighcolfer- I don't blame you. I feel like everyone looks for an escape in their own way. Music and fairytales are great ways for me to escape my kind of- mundane reality. I get sick of reality sometimes. LOl doesn't everyone?

I love this movie. It was the first one I ever saw, when it came out on VHS. My father brought it home while my mother tried to tell him that six-month-old me probably wouldn't be interested and definitely wouldn't remember it. :P Of course, I don't remember that showing, but my sisters and I watched it a lot as kids.
I want to hold some kind of Disney classics marathon (including some of the GOOD newer Disney movies though) with my friends and see if we can sing all of the songs in the movies.

Very seldom did I wish I was someone or something else. I never had idols (well maybe my dad), but I wasn't jealous of people. If I wanted something, I may have had to work a little longer or do it another way but knew I would. I never physically saw myself the way people did. Of course you wanted to be cute, didn't think I was but always liked what was in my heart. I still don't see what people see when I look in the mirror. That is what took me so long to figure out relationships /attraction

Okay I understand people want their childhood back but things change and sometimes you cant get those kinds of things back. I love my childhood and would love to have it back but I wont get it. My personal beleif is that if there is something you love most, even if it's not what the other teens are into. If you like things like Barney, why not watch? If you like old Disney movies, why not watch? I say we start a Disney revelution! boycott any other Disney shows. Watch these movies instead.

I'm 16. A lot of people my age are already drinking alcohol and smoking, and many have even lost their virginity. But not me. I'm the one sitting in on a Friday night watching the Little Mermaid, or Mulan, because Disney has taught me so much, and it has reminded me to always stay young at heart.

I completely agree with you I am 17 and instead of going out and drinking and doing stupid things that I would regret later, I am at home with my Boerboel puppy and my lapdog watching Tarzan or Loin king <3 (Those are my dogs favorite)

Ariel taught me to chase my dreams. Pocahontas taught to respect nature, others, and myself. Belle taught me to avoid being shallow, to think for myself. Mulan taught me to be brave. Esmeralda taught me to have compassion. And even today, at nearly twenty years old, I'm still learning from these songs. I still love these movies. There isn't anything shallow about or childish about them. In fact, I think a lot of adults could benefit from watching them.

I love this movie. It was the first one I ever saw, when it came out on VHS. My father brought it home while my mother tried to tell him that six-month-old me probably wouldn't be interested and definitely wouldn't remember it. :P Of course, I don't remember that showing, but my sisters and I watched it a lot as kids.
