It sounds good from what I'm hearing but what exactly is Folk Metal? I've never heard of it until now.

@traeus It's pretty much a crossover between metal and warrior history (or alcohol related history lol). It mixes traditional instruments from the cultures that are written about. The music has an epical sound in which the lyrics fit pretty well.

The most common lyrical themes are based on ancient Celtic or Nordic culture (lyrically, a good example is Kingdom Come Undone by Eluveitie), although there are exceptions with Hun or Samurai based lyrics

As I can see a lot of people here hate Mägo de Oz but leaving aside the personal point, Mägo de Oz is a great band, the pioneers of Folk Metal In spanish, and they sound good, leaving the lyrics aside.
