A TOUR DE FORCE! Franco Zeffirelli is an artiste. This movie has to be the saddest, yet most poignant film of all time. Thirty years later it still has the same impact on me as it did in '79...The cast was spectacular and the music is the coup de grace.

After trying to find this movie for years (having heard about it when I was a kid) I came across this on Youtube. At first, I thought it would be the only access I would ever have to it, and I was satisfied.

Then I found a copy, not a day later, in a small video store...its almost like I had to be tested to see if I could deal with it.

Yup, that part wasn't scripted. It was accidental, including the little laugh. But the director decided to leave it in as it was so cute and funny. (Apparantly anyway)
