  • Nice smooth pull! It's soo strange to see a boat set up with all the guts and blower reversed!

Great pull!!! Godd luck to all you folks!!

  • @BugattiFan301 ~ PT #2: Drag racing, in the 60's, was so much more fun. Today the sport (in fuel classes) is simply all about pouring money down the corporate sponsored black hole. Cars running 240 miles per hour, smoking the entire quarter, can be as competitive AND much more exciting, safer and cheaper. There isn't a 1,000 foot run anywhere that can equal the excitement and enjoyment of what drag racing provided us old dogs with, 45 years ago.

  • @BugattiFan301 ~ I don't know if you are into drag racing 2011 but it's amazing how much more exciting, and cheaper, we could make the NHRA fuel classes if we would simply reduce fuel pump capacity AND the amount of overdrive run on superchargers. My first trip to the drags was in March 1963 at Lions in SoCal and from then until I was drafted (Vietnam) in 1969 I lived at the drags. What's missing today, from drag racing, are tire-frying quarter-mile runs. (continued.......)

  • sorry if this comes off wrong, but why even have a supercharger if you're only gonna run 6-7 lb of boost? I mean, this engine is easily capable of 1200 hp or more if you just run some more overdrive at like 20 lb boost. You can easily get 800 hp NATURALLY ASPIRATED from a 535, for a lot cheaper too.

  • I run 10 lbs boost on pump gas, 816 HP. Yea I can spin it faster with a quick pulley change and race gas, but it's a play boat and the hull only weighs 600lbs, so it's plenty fast on pump gas and very easy on the motor.

  • jesus christ! how big is that fucking supercharger!?

  • HOLY SHIT, put thaty monster in a car and see where it takes ya

  • IF ITS GOT A HEMI YOU CAME TO WIN 1# SPOT FLAT OUT

  • I would love to have this motor in my 300. :)

  • Look up blown chevy 632. Amazing

  • @stlchevy95 ha!! not necesary when u got a hemi

  • Sexy

  • at first glance i thought this was in somebodies bathroom... lol

  • hemi = true mopar. lol good engine

  • @ammyg123 thats not a hemi

  • @carbpumper i know im jus saying hemi = true mopar. i used to have a hemi race crate engine for my 17 foot demarco hydro.. but then i sold the boat to some guy in australia... you should see my vid of my fastest pass down at the 18th annual southern nationals

  • @ammyg123 oh ok yah mopar is the best lol

  • @ammyg123 big wedge is the ticket

  • ummm wow

  • That thing is mean, it's gonna fly across the water.

  • Damn.........

  • can i get a HELL YEA for the guy who uses a blown wedge in his boat?

  • HELL YEA

  • @darokkz HELLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

  • Check the valve cover bolt shimmying out! Maybe you guys should check those things just in case....

  • yeah umm..they probably know what they're doing sparkplug

  • I'm sure they do, but a loose bolt is a loose bolt, all the same

  • its not coming loose, its the slip on " T " on top od the bolt used to remove them fast. Bolt was tight.

  • that is just sick......very nice

  • damn... just damn.... thats horrifying

  • Oh Man! NICE

  • its odd lookin at it with the blower backwards and stuff

  • The blower isn't backwards genius, the injector hat is.

  • don't be to hard on him it's looks like he's a chevy guy

  • It is set up correctly for a V-Drive (hydro or flat bottom) where the engine is mounted with the crank pulley facing the rear and the output facing the front of the boat (opposite of a jet boat). The blower pulley has to be rear facing and the injector hat has to be front facing. The actual V-Drive sits behind the front seats and takes the output from the motor and transfers it to the prop shaft on a sideways V formation ( like this <), which is why they are called a V-Drive.

  • Watch the Youtube video "1971 Sanger" and you can see the blown motor is configured the same way as this one. You can also see the shaft going to the V-Drive.

  • chrysler rules

  • @cummins60 HELLLLLLLLLL YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA THEY DO

  • wicked, and you can see how much you have to look over an engine of this caliber... one of the t bolts spinning loose on the valve cover. I'm sure that's trivial though.

  • AMAZING! Great looking set of M/T valve covers on it as well. A little old school for ya'!!

  • yea,...they are cool, but we switched em out for some sheetmetal ones, but will keep the M/Ts!

  • nice

  • sIIIck ! , wonder what the rpm was...

  • it peaks arounds 6200, but will safely spin 7500-8000 The best part is over 800 lbs torque from 4000rpm

  • Evidently, I missed the episode where Wylie Coyote strapped a blown/stroked motor into a feather weight Wesco V-drive and went after the Roadrunner.

    BEEP BEEP......Oh shit

  • Thats a good way 2 put it. Things have 2 be animated some times 4 people 2 really understand it:)

  • Man I wish I could have heard the exhaust!

  • It was actually kinda cool to hear the mechanics without the exhaust. But it normally runs zoomies, and yes,.....it's loud! Check the other video with it running in the boat
